Heard these are owned by Rick Probstein. $100 mil offer was debunked. Sad part of all this is that PSA has created an unlevel playing field by breaking their own rules for the publicity. 🚩 Same certs as the ones before they were even auto'ed when they should have been regraded per their rules. Some came out with banged up edges and corners dropping them from a 10 but PSA turned a blind eye and kept the same old cert numbers. Otherwise they would have been consecutively numbered with most recent serial numbers. They chose to not regrade purposely in this "special" case and they added the auto grade to top it off. What a gimmick!! Glad they botched it with the thick crayon used and illegible inscriptions.
@@SportCardMadness Question, do you have the balls or integrity to address PSA's lack of business integrity in this case (i.e., unlevel playing field by breaking their rules)?
@@SportCardMadnessThanks for sharing and great to see! Will you do the same in this case? Not sure why influencers are not calling this out as this is the most egregious case to date. Sad to see.
Obviously the large crowds haven't arrived yet, but this venue seems a LOT more managable than Chicago last year (just based on your run-through). At first glance, it looks like they've done a great job in setting up, and also in providing a detailed map of who is where. It'll be interesting to see if this all holds up when the big crowds build up, but I find this venue much better than Chicago's (I haven't been to either, so I'm only going by what I'm seeing). Hope you all have a great time, and thanks for showing us. 👍 Nb: LZ - hope you manage to track down one (or all) of the four signed cards required to complete your set!
I understand MJ's team asked med point blue sharpie was to be used. ok, I get that... but a new med point sharpie tip is much thinner than after you use the pen over time.. Based on how wide the sig is, to me, it looks like the sharpie was well used or worn... why not use a brand new Sharpie and tip is fresh... sure, all collectors warm the pen up...(and rookie collectors have pen off cap a long time as they wait and tip dries out and one gets a crummy auto) and have backup pens on the ready. (new ones, fresh out of package) no doubt, all 6 of these 10/10's would be centerpiece of any signed RC collection, so, I fully get that.. but feel the autos could have come out much better and still get 10/10 grades using a fresh out of package Sharpie that is warmed up ahead of MJ signing the cards.
Will MJ 10/10 answer question why he used med point blue sharpie and not fine point Staedtler? All RC signed collectors envy these 10/10's, so dont get me wrong..... but the question remains, why not fine point Staedtler.
@@LawrenceFZIII thanks for update...OK, if Team Jordan mandated type of pen MJ would use, that ends speculation. As every signed RC collector would want a 10/10, the non 10/10, there are variety of pen types used... as well as period MJ signed them... vintage MJ sig vs modern.... fine point blue vs fine point black... but 10/10's sit on throne, but gives non 10/10's ability to find place in heirarchy of signed MJ's 86F RC. On similar front, speculation 10/10 turned down 100m... really?? Like to hear more details why.
A couple mins into the video is the FIRST LOOK ever at the PSA 10 / 10 Signed Jordans!

Never heard of such crazy value. 100 mill for anything is ridiculous.
@@Pitchithard MJ is still alive and apparently had a price too. Rather have a few PSA 1952 Mantles

Stayed tuned for Day 2 video. Were expecting A completely different experience 😅
Great content! New subscriber. Keep it up!!
Thanks! Happy to have you!
People can be offered anything and the offer might be not serious. I have fun building sets, but dang. Wear comfortable shoes.
We specifically bought brand new Nike shoes just to walk the floor. First day held up well, 😂
Have you seen a lot of star company cards? (Dominique Wilkins 😊)
Not yet but the show hadn't even started. We will do a video each day!
What up SCM

that way, you wouldn't be able to see the signature and they could easily pawn off another hobby scam and fish story to ya.
Jordan’s Team chose the medium point Sharpie over fine point.

If he was offered 100mill & turned it down, he's brain dead & needs a handler! 😅😅
If you have access to this months PSA magazine you may understand why he turned the offer down…. Full article about him and what MJ means to him
Jordan cards should have been gold or silver ink. Not black
