The one thing that I couldn’t understand is: Why did the Institute kill the remainder of those in Vault 111? Their pods were turned off if the computer terminals can be believed. The Institute after 200 years may have a dangerously narrow gene pool. Here you have a gene pool closer to your own with those educated at a level way above those in the Commonwealth without possible genetic mutations. Also, they could have been dispersed into the Institute’s population by family units to ease assimilation. Those that had certain genetic disease could have been left behind until it could be addressed by their medical practices. That is, unless they could be of benefit to the Institute due to certain knowledges or abilities.
Wasn't Shaun the only one with a pure genetic strain ? I think I can recall that they didn't use the other people in Vault 111 because they had varying kinds of genetic impurities (including the sole survivor) and thus were of little interest for the institute.
@@leviathanforge Shaun is to donate DNA for the 3rd Generation Synth project, but the whole population of the Institute is also of concern if the Director would take his blinders off. There couldn’t be more than 200 faculty and students that began the Institute. After 10 generations the genetics of the Institute’s population would make all residents 2nd or 3rd cousins. Every one is related to everyone else. Birth defects and other genetic abnormalities would begin to rise greater in this isolated population. Probably more if the initial population came from primarily the physical sciences with less from the medical and biological sciences. The “residents” of Vault 111 would add to the genetic diversity of the general population without a notice from the rest of the Commonwealth as they are unknown. This helps with the security and secrecy of the Institute as well.

"minor muataions" looking like a half melted corpse that eventually turned into a tree
Can you do a video on mutant leaders?
Atis is my favorite mutant leader as he combines the a master and LT’s ideas into one and goes a similar transformation, if not a more monstrous one.
Agreed
I'm very happy to wake up to another of your amazing videos, keep up the good work.
Good morning 😁👍
Always a great day when you upload
12:35 "Terminal death" is my favourite kind of death
So why did the master get turned into a pink fleshy monster instead of a normal green super mutant?
He was in it for a long time I'm pretty sure, like completely soaked
The Super Mutants go for a dip
The Master went for a long unconscious swim
Yo this channel looks sick. Gonna binge all of your stuff
It’s amazing to see how much your channel has grown, keep ip the good work ❤️
Thanks! 😁👍
Is it possible that West Virginia has a natural version of FEV seeing how the Sheepsquach and Mothman are implied to be older than the fallout lore
Can you do a video lore on raiders and their history and how they came to be especially afer the great war please
I think the raiders are typically people who come from groups that survived and subsisted on the surface whereas typical peaceful wastelanders were former vault residents or descended from vault residents.
You pretty much the ViaatyVida of the Fallout universe.
Honestly, I didn't know Lasko was using a strain of FEV in Greyditch, huh. Could have fooled me!
I really wonder WHERE he came from originally.
the valiable lessons of forcing something to happen: Summed up the FEV pretty well in the terms of things
Great video dude, you just randomly showed up on my feed, and your content is great👍
I'd really like to see some pre-war super mutant characters. Imagine an intelligent 200 year old Chinese POW or US Soldier as a major faction leader.
