Great video! Only thing I would mention, is on a natural whelp, I’ve found with too much human intervention it can actually inhibit momma from releasing her own hormones and let nature take over. If she wants to lick and assist with the pup stimulation, allow that while you do what you need to do.
I agree with this. I mostly make sure the pups don’t get crushed or cold during birthing. Being too involved can make mom too reliant on you to do all the work.
Your videos are great, watched a bunch of them! I recently had a failed TCI with my 7 year old chocolate lab after two head cycles of allowing the docks to lock up naturally. She's healthy and accomplished in HRC and Field Training so I'd love to get a pup. The only option the vet recommends would be surgical due to some small cists in her ovaries. In your opinion, do the risks like pyometra along with other pregnancy issues at her age (would be 7.5 years) outweigh trying one last time surgically? Thanks

My Frenchie is on day 59 from AI. Temp 98.7 and progesterone 3.24 ng. She’s acting totally fine though when should I expect her to go into labor or get C section ?!? Please help
@@LoveMyPups no nesting, very little panting. We can Csection even at 3.24 ng ? And day 59. I’m very nervous to pull em out early and also nervous to have to take her overnight and pay 2500$ for emergency

You can c section now especially if she is nesting and panting
