When Mark was hosting these I tuned in for the guitars. With Lemmo hosting I tune in for the playing.
Hell yeah. It’s a better show because of it. Lemmo just shredded that SG to pieces. He made that thing sound beautiful. I was never a big fan of the three humbuckers in the customs. That one was amazing though. Holy moly. Norm got lucky with Lemmo.
That is amazing it is a 1991 and the gold is not faded and tarnished. Amazing playing Michael, Jen you deserve a RUclips Award for all of your great filming. Happy New Year !!! 🎊 🎸👏👍🙏😎✌️
Gold doesn't tarnish, it wears off because it's so soft. So it must not of been played much.
@@bluestingray67 However or whatever it does, it shows signs of wear on my 355 that I have not played, the pick guard gassing has caused it.

Man I've always wanted a SG-Les Paul custom like this, she's a beautiful, love it better in a wine or cherry red or even a vintage white, all though it does pop real nice in tv yellow, ive always loved Les Pauls however in my humble opinion, SG model's and ES models are the best Gibson's produced for play ability, sound, and versatility, fenders are even better for that sonic tone, hope to be in the market soon fer an SG custom they come with a pretty heavy tag... Its on my bucket list fer sure...
All the right quack and squawk for a vintage at the price of a modern Christmas present!

Beautiful guitar. If they are wired the same as the original 61 custom the middle would be bridge and middle pickups wired out of phase.

You made no mention of this guitar having 30 year anniversary itself, while being a 30 year anniversary of a 60 year old guitar. Looks and sounds great!
Lemmo, is an absolute beast! His playing is so tasteful! The custom headstock has to be the best looking of all guitars!

I love the fact that this is a Les Paul...NOT an SG! The history of the Gibsons is fascinating...its a damn shame that they are relying on their history, instead of the quality that built the brand...every time there is a new owner. I keep hoping that the integrity that built the name will return. Instead of just another money grab. I won't quit hoping...great job as always, Michael and Jen. You guys always give me a reason to smile! Peace ✌!

Three pickups is too many. A load of magnets to mess with the sound. Of course Lemmo can make it sound good.
