- In this Goodwill thrift with me we hit the brand new Goodwill Clearance Bins in San Diego, CA. I'm with my daughter Jordan @justjordanthings so of course there will be clothing involved! We mix it up with some shopping at Home Goods as well and I show you how prices compare in retail. Let's get shop done!

Recently I bought a blue light and went shopping at salvation Army .
I used that light on everything I came across.
Found 4 clear glass glowing GREEN!
I was so, so excited .
Now I think I'm a menaces to society with my blue light 😂😂😂

Yes you can bake in the bread pan. I have that same pattern except mine is the brown. I have a casserole pan that has crazing and bakes fine! Thanks for taking us along. ❤

Danni, I throw all my plush in the washing machine and it comes out clean! I don't put all of it in the dryer though. ❤ OH, and Kong toys are the best for dogs that love to chew. Virtually indestructable!!

Watch you all the time - love to see what you find. My daughter and I thrifted for her wedding. Head table was lace table cloths and amber glass - mix and match. For the guest tables We did dollar store vases and painted placed them with Ikea placemats. We did have to buy table cloths for the guest tables but Purchased water carafes, wine glasses from FB market and value village. It was fun. Dog toys - always have the best luck with the Costco 3 packs. We have 2 labs and they give them a good work out but they last a long time. Rope toys supposed ly untwist and the strings get in their stomachs (or so I have read)
Yup we watch close and discard toys that are coming apart!
NH here: We just got 24 inches of SNOW yesterday!! What an ungodly mess.

I'm in SD too. If you enter by the backside where the trucks are there's free underground parking with entrance to the bins. The GW right there on 16th has some pretty great home goods too.

I have never liked plush and bought very few things like that for my children. However, I love dolls and it drives me crazy when you inspect the plush but not the dolls. My daughter and her daughter barely played with plush or dolls, although one son loved all of them. You never know what you're getting with your children! I love watching your videos since I can't get out to thrift much these days. Although I love thrifting, I really adore Home Goods! Hugs from California.
I do look at the dolls, they are generally in a different section than toys. I really don't sell dolls but I do sell plush!

I had the Yorktowne loaf pan made fantastic meatloaf too. Switched out a lot when I moved.

Looks like you're having fun. Yes, you can still use the bread pan. I would not use it over 350 degrees, though. I haven't been to a home goods in yrs. I can't be trusted.
No lid needed for loaf pan
I have that Pfaltzgraff baking dish and it’s all crazed but I still use it with no problem. Not sure about the high temps though. I’m usually using 350 degrees.
I put my daughter's squishmallows in the wash - no problems!
You could put the place mats over the arms of living room chairs, or on tthe dack of chairs.😊😊😊

Mia Maples(she's on YT) thrifted much of her wedding. She also made one of her 2 gowns she wore, the bridesmaid dresses, and matching shirts for the groomsmen.
I love the murano style myself. I can't pay 75 dollars or so just for a decorative item. I do thrifting but pickings are slim in central California 😢 that's why I shop at the discount stores. All of my clothes I can buy on clearence!😊

The bins are rotated every half hour. This means that each half hour, some bins are taken away and replaced with new bins. Many shoppers, especially resellers, like to stick around for a few rotations to see what they can find.
Yes you can still use the loaf pan, it wouldn't have a lid. 😊

About 5 years ago, I was talking to someone who used to work at Goodwill and they would just throw the glassware in a bin and break it when it didn’t sell.

nope, I will no longer go out of my way to support Goodwill anymore. i personally know of disabled people who spent a lot of time and effort to prove they are eligible for and in need of training for jobs and or independent living skills. These poor folks had their hopes up and were looking forward to a better life just to be told there was not enough money to do anything for them. I now see on the internet that Goodwill is one of the nonprofits spending money left and right helping out the invaders. so I won't be doing anything that gives Goodwill any money from me..

Our regular GW stores don’t give you a bag anymore. They OFFER you a bag to PURCHASE for $1.50 each. The GW stores would not need BIN outlets if they did not keep raising their “minimum price”. I no longer donate to them. They are ripping people off like crazy. It’s sad.
