I just bought my first drop spindle this week. Thanks for demonstrating and narrating in clear, concise instructions and explanations. Your video has been loads of help! :-)
That is the very first drop spindle tutorial that made me think I could actually do this! I've not seen the park and draft before - I was reminded of sitting in a swing when I was a kid and spinning as far as I could and then letting go and unspinning - loading energy was the perfect phrase to make this click. THANK YOU!! now to go get a spindle and some fiber...
I am ordering a Drop Spindle today....your video so very clear and precise! I cannot wait to give it a try. Thank you so very much for sharing your video!!!!
Morgan, that was a very clear and concise video and explanation. I have begun to drop spinning and have got to a point where the fibre is too thick to draft. Tight. I'm gonna try out what you showed and wish me luck :) thanks much.
Morgan did a great job explaining and demonstrating using a drop spindle, my only criticism was the problem with the camera going in and out of focus,(made me a bit woozie).
Just got a drop spindle and have been using this video to teach myself but I ran into a problem: how do I keep my yarn from twisting when I am finished
