I appreciate your advice. I spent far less and made smart bets based on odds and had a ton of fun watching the races with my wife -- and had a nice winning ticket on Mandaloun thanks to your advice on strategy. Love the videos and the insight!

You are welcome. Not I haven't done too many because I don't play those wagers too much but I probably should since they are popular bets.
I remember back when I would take people to the track and they would get frustrated with me because I kept passing on races. Their idea of horse racing was action. Mine was cashing a winning ticket. In the end, I decided to bet on myself and get a regular job. Still, there's nothing like cashing a winning ticket at the racetrack. It's proof that you're plugged into the universe, that you're in harmony with the laws of nature and that God likes you...
Yes it is a good feeling that is for sure. But the best bet is to bet on one's self. Hard to go wrong betting on a belief in yourself.
I cannot lie: I made the rookie error of keying the favorite in the tri. Beyer is a god- he specifically said MS is the best horse, and even remarked “if Medina spirit isn’t in the money, I will lose everything” in his video, I should have taken that as a massive clue and keyed around MS. In other news, mattresses are now super cheap in Texas.....
Haha. In other news! Now I remember many years Beyer wasn't even close to picking the right horse for the Derby. I would be curious to see what his record is picking the Derby. But I am glad he was right this time and for those that took his advice. On to the Preakness!
I grew up watching horses run. I joke that I learned how to read with the daily racing form. It's a joke but not by that much. Anyway, I watched your beginners series and learned! There is a lesson in there I think. Anyway, I've subscribed. So keep up the good work.

Good advice! ended up cashing a $7 win bet and a $1 exacta... come out just a little ahead.. But did hit the late pk5 at fon for a boost.

@@Weekendhandicapper Ya fonner, Small track with big things comming up in the next couple years. They are going to add a casino resort to it and get bigger better races along with it.

I got caught up in the moment at Saratoga with Boozy Milkshakes...you get a milkshake at the Shakeshack and then two shots of whiskey 🥃 from the bar and pour them into the Milkshake...they go down quick

Thanks Randall EQ covered a lot of ground and had some issues at the stage. Rock Your Worlf got the worst of all. I hate that for anyone that had that horse or included him on their tickets. Next time we will get them!
