how does this compare with a kokopelli xpd? would you say the NRS is tougher?

Hi Leo, The NRS is lighter overall (by about a kilo) than the XPD but reinforced in particular areas that apply especially to fishing; for instance where your wading boots rub the deck. We've paddled both extensively and I'd say the NRS is tougher where you need it to be for fishing and will suit any rough adventure you could throw at it. Cheers!

Do warranty repairs go through you or back to NRS?

Also it's worth noting that the NRS Riffle comes with TZIP lube and some adhesive repair patches should you happen to puncture unintentionally.
