Hi Joe, I seem to be in the minority here but it's not unexpected, I find it hard to believe so many people like these 3 cylinder sewing machines although I will admit in this adaptation it's quite subdued. Cheaper production costs but the cars are more expensive, any economy gain is lost if you use the performance, put a turbo on a small 4 cylinder and get some quality of driving life back. Rant over sorry. The polo has always been about the best small car out there comfortable, quiet so long as you don't push it too hard, in it's comfort zone you would have a job to beat it although I think the new Jazz comes close. Now that's interesting. It seems to be doing 3000rpm at 140km/h (maybe 3100) in 5th, whereas the 110bhp has 6 gears and is also doing 140km/h in 6th gear. So maybe I should just save the money and buy a 5-speed 95bhp Tsi? Digital cockpit looks nice. Where is the benefit of having 6 gears?
It has 3000 rpm at 135km/h. Either way - you can have 5 very long gears and 6 very short ones. People are over exaggerating the importance of the number of gears itself.
Horrible idea to make the right side reflective, it's so distracting to have shiny moving things in your field of view while driving... Still, great videos Joe, keep 'em coming!
I've had this car for almost 5 years now, I don't notice a difference either. Maybe the suspension is a bit stiffer in sport but I could be imagining things. I leave it in comfort anyways. Cheers!
175 Nm of torque is quite a number here, it's more than my kia with 1.6 has, also gearing isn't that long so it's perfect for city and won't be ashamed at highway speed limits

It depends on the market. Here in Brazil, only the small cars still offer a manual option.

You tried with the Sport mode? I have the same car manual, but i cant see the difference between normal and sport..
