    1 Corinthians 13:2
"And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, but have not charity, I am nothing."
I am for long years in SSPX, they NEVER speak about you or others.
We are NOT allowed to "gossip"- yet their theologians give us clear directions how to avoid of modernism which might harm us.
SSPX uses 1945 missal, offering Tridentine Mass.
No detail of modernism is present in their services.
Even 1962 presents no danger for souls.
Pius XII made some changes too, There is a red line of changing the rubrics. Pius XII's Plane Compertum is the basis of modernism
They never speak about V2 popes, for Archbishop Lefebvre gave directives ; do not declare Sede Vacante, for there can not be another conclave, for we are in Great Apostasy Time.
The concentration should be on our individual sanctification.
You took an oath to obey your bishop; you not only disobeyed him, you entangled him in civil courts. Archbishop died in great sorrow.
PS.I know 100s of people from modern v2 church and Protestantism converted to the Roman CC thanks to SSPX; they grow, they witness, they are there as an antithesis without any noise and pretends . They are humble, most saintly; I see so many miracles when confessing and receiving Sacraments. SSPX seminary professors are the nucleus of the Roman Catholic Church. They augment, the rest diminish.
You , with Sanborn., speak about SSPX 24/7.
    I wander why?

I have personally witnessed the SSPX change their position almost 30 years now. They use to be vocal against modernist Rome and the local Bishops. The priest would warn against the nonsense coming from the papacy and tell the faithful to avoid them at all costs. I remember our pastor giving a strong sermon against the 1986 Assisi gathering and said someone should have smashed the statue of Buddha on top of the tabernacle. Now you get
reprimanded if you speak out against the Novous Ordo from the pulpit. There have been many priests who have left the SSPX by their own volition or otherwise who would not go along with the change in SSPX since 2007. Father Jenkins is correct when he says the SSPX no longer instruct their parishioners to keep the fast prior to Vatican ll, they only encourage it. It’s unfortunate the SSPX has moved closer to the modernist over the past 12-15 years, you can see the slide in the parishes throughout the United States.
The young priests coming out of the seminary now are taught to accept 95 percent of Vatican ll.

@@roexvt630 I judge only from what I SEE, not making any a priori assumptions. Fasting is impossible when the priest should drive 4 hours back and forth.

I think he speaks about SSPX because they were asked about it? It is also often helpful to explain the Traditional Catholic faith in similarity and in contrast to V2, SSPV/X, FSSP, etc in terms of clarity. I greatly appreciate the point of clarifying the contradictions eg Pope Francis is / is not / might not be a valid pope in terms of belief. I would also say faith, though that has to extend beyond the contradictions of objective reason and traditional teachings.

According to the teachings of the Catholic Church we can definitively say Francis is not a true pope.
Pastor Aeternus of Vatican I teaches:
This gift of truth and never-failing faith was therefore divinely conferred on Peter and his successors in this See so that they might discharge their exalted office for the salvation of all, and so that the whole flock of Christ might be kept away by them from the poisonous food of error and be nourished with the sustenance of heavenly doctrine.
The reason we can be absolutely certain that the true Successors of Peter will never fail to protect the faithful from error and will always nourish them on the true doctrine is because they are the Church’s foundation (“on this Rock I will build my Church”) and Our Lord promised that “the gates of Hell will not prevail” against her.
Stated another way, in order to make good on His promise that the gates of Hell will not prevail, Christ endowed the popes with the gift of truth and never-failing faith, something Jorge Bergoglio simply does not possess.

It’s so sad to see how so many sedevacantists these days speak ill of their spiritual ancestors. Traditional Catholicism would be nothing, maybe not even existing at all if that is even possible, if not for Archbishop Lefebvre and his spiritual sons. His work should be celebrated with thanksgiving and Te Deum’s chanted for the simple fact he did what he did

Does that make sense to your pea-sized brain? Or maybe I actually did listen to the video and YOU are the one who failed to comprehend the position from which my comment was made. Is that possible? Or does that require too much humility for someone like you to imagine? I’ll take the charitable route and simply assume you have an extra chromosome. The alternative would be that you are PURPOSELY intellectually deficient, and I’d never assume that about someone without proof. Does that suffice your question, Mr. RUclips comment detective?

The SSPX knows that you need to take the steps. You still have to do what you are obliged to do. A child is obliged to obey bad parents to the point of sin or violation of conscience. Just because your parents are bad does not mean that you can disobey them in all things. Even bad authority is from God.

    • @jamessauve2419

If sin is rebellion against God, are you saying a child, or a subordinate, is required to offend God to avoid offending a human superior? Seriously? "Even bad authority is from God". Are you saying God commands sin? God commands evil? God commands rebellion against God? Are you kidding? Does God command us to offend Him and rebel against Him, sending ourselves to Hell so as not to offend some temporal church authority? Where did you learn what you think is Catholicism?

Fr. Jenkins doesn't need any more Faith as you insultingly claim! Moreover, he would certainly NOT reject "every pope" since even his own Society is named after a Pope: Saint Pius V. You can't just make it up as you wish it to be. There have been evil claimants to the throne of Peter in the past. In the history of the Church, there have been 30-40 anti-Popes. Bergoglio has brought idols into the basilicas of Rome and has said that there is NO Hell and doesn't believe in the need for Redemption. I'll take Fr. Jenkins' faith before yours any day!
