been wanting one of these for a while with the low profile look, definitely a better look then the over hanging arm one for sure. nice pc/desk set up btw!
I agree, this arm is pretty great. Got mine last month. I feel like it’s a bit on the shorter side for me and my desk. Wish it was a bit longer. I think fully extended, it’s only 18 in. I think I need something closer to 24. But I agree that it’s very high quality for the price.
Thank you for making this video. I was looking for something budget friendly and found this on Amazon. Thanks your your video, I'm going to give it a shot!
Great review. I bought the upgraded version this Ulanzi arm, it arrived today.. it's pretty good!! I just wish it came in white.. we have the same microphone btw :)
I was going to comment on this exact thing! Plus, you’re wearing a hat with letters on it, and there are words on the desk behind you. It’s all backwards. But for sure, when showing a product. At least you’re not trying to trick us into thinking you play guitar left-handed! 😂
Cheers, dude! Just wanted to let you know I received my boom arm today and it turned out just as amazing as I hoped it would. Thanks a lot for your recommendation! ☺️🫶🏼
The audio sync was off and video was mirrored. Other than that this was a useful review, thank you. The two main cons for me are that the arms seem too short for my setup and the lack of height adjustability is a bummer.
I wish they had these types of boom ram to have like the stand go up and down. Like the first joint to go a full 360° like up and down side to side. If there’s any pls reply with a link.
Hey Jeffrey, how has this mic arm held up over the previous year? The problem I found with cheaper mic arms is that overtime they start breaking down, I've probably gone through 8 in the last few years because of how bad some of them were. Thanks.
@@JeffreyBaranJr. no, that information is available. How deep the clamp mount sits into the desktop. Grommet mounts aren’t an issue but if there isn’t enough overhang the clamp mount won’t sit flush with the desk and that would drive me nuts
Zero issues so far, in fact, I love it more and more each day. The space between the arm and desk is perfect for my arm to go under if needed. I am confident I won't have issues for years with the materials it is made of. IT'S SOLID
Yes that makes perfect sense. It will only work if your mic will allow it based on how your mic is set up. I could flip the hyper x upside down b/c of how the white adapter is shaped that came with my mic. Do keep in mind tho that the distance from the table to the top adapter is just above 5 inches. But i did look up the samson and it looks smaller then mine. So there's definitely a few variables that go into answering that question based off your Samson!

After posting it and seeing others feel the same way I realize I shouldve coved that in the video. Unfortunately it didn't even cross my mind
Oh man, i was pretty stoked, until i read this. 18" max reach is a deal breaker. The search continues.

Very nice! Thanks for watching.
is there the upgraded version of this boom arm? can you tell me the product name?
You should reverse your video especially if showing box covers. Looking at the letters reversed is confusing
Will do next time! Thank you

Super impressive since it‘s only half or even ⅓ the price of the Elgato LP Boom Arm!
I absolutely agree. I extremely happy with it!
I‘m about to buy either a Maono PD400-X or the Deity VO-7U and after seeing your video, this will definitely become my new boom arm!
@@yannickpolitowski6074 I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY TO HEAR THAT MAN! Make sure to come back and let me know how you like it!!

The audio and video are not in sync and the video is mirrored in parts. You may want to look into that for future videos.
Awesome video and LP Mic Boom Bro!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you!
great mini review on this..

best boom arm made. I bought 2! Nice vid-

Still happy?

Glad I could help!
ulanzi make good cheap tech
Definitely!
What's the mame of that white adapter? I hace the hyperX solocast and doesn't came with it
MY BEST GUESS IN THREAD ADAPTER BUT IM NOT SURE HONESTLY.

It has held up perfectly. I use/swivel/ and rotate it everyday. Absolutely zero problems with it.
@@JeffreyBaranJr. Oh that's great to hear. Probably gonna pick this up then since my current one is breaking! Thanks so much!
Was it long enough for you or were you hoping for a little bit more length?
Good review by the way!!
For my desk it's perfect but I could use and bigger desk and that might become a issue after that! Great question tho!
I wish it came in white
So do you think it is a good alternative to the Elgato low profile?
Most defiantly!
@@JeffreyBaranJr.I orderd it and send it back. It is way to short for normal german table with 80cm. It is no alternative to Elgato
@@DieTabbi it's a great alternative if you have a smaller desk. 👍🏼
How deep is the mounting clamp? Can’t find info anywhere for any of these mic arms regarding mounting depth on the edge of the desk.
Are you asking how thick of a desk you can fit?
@@JeffreyBaranJr. no, that information is available. How deep the clamp mount sits into the desktop. Grommet mounts aren’t an issue but if there isn’t enough overhang the clamp mount won’t sit flush with the desk and that would drive me nuts
Sold me on it
Glad I could help!
I’d like to buy a boom arm that I can use to set my mic under my head instead of top so my mouth can actually face it. Is this worth it?
Absolutely man
Hey nice video! I have the Elgato LP and really love it. New sub👍🏼out here supporting smaller channels like mine!
Thanks a ton man, I really appreciate it!
Will it work for fifine ampligame A8 mic ?
I am not sure
Can you tilt the mic while its attached to the arm?
Yes it can rotate.
can it fully extend straight?
Yes absolutely. Full rotation.
Can we get an update of how is holding up

I just got it too short. Will be returning
Yes definitely depends on your desk setup.
I have a Samson mic and can I have it so my mic isnt facing up but facing to the side?
if that makes sense.

Could you make the mic go sideways?
Yes
@@JeffreyBaranJr. Would it sound good sideways?
@@jsjooki depending on your mic I'm sure it would sound fine.
Way too short
depends on your desk
Short as fk arm wtfff
