I was a flight attendant for ten years and worked galley on international routes. You ALWAYS count your meals and make sure you have all your catering before leaving the gate. That's complete laziness on behalf of the crew for that flight, and I agree, completely unacceptable.
I had the same problem...they said they loaded the wrong meals on board so they didn't have what I ordered off the menu. Yes a first world problem, but that's not the point. It's the principle.
how to be nice to flight attendant give some idea
@@DMDK386 be humble
@@DMDK386just say simple words like “please” “thank you” and do not ask bring them a box of chocolates or treats if they deserved it.
This is a $5,000 seat, of course he’s gonna be critical!
Exactly you spend a lot of money to get that?? I’ve seen long haul economy with better food!
I didn't know that BA had such low standards for business class. Thanks for showing us.
GlobetrotterBR: Neither did l, so a great review!
Well they set the standard with seats when it first came out
I'm a BA gold member and your video sums up why I stopped flying BA business class from Sydney to London. Whilst I can't fault the crew, they're very attentive and friendly, the fact that the business pods are so small compared to the likes of Cathay Pacific & Qatar is not even funny given the amount they charge compared to the other carriers.
The 2/4/2 configuration is ridiculous, if you’re unlucky to get a window seat, then having to clamber over the other persons legs to get out to use the bathroom is absurd, the pods themselves, are no wider than the seat itself, so little room to manoeuvre or turn when sleeping.
If you’re on a long haul flight then but want to stay with the oneworld carriers then I would strongly suggest you pick another airline that has a 1/2/1 configuration.
The seat arrangement alone is enough to keep me out of BA's business class. Being forced to look at someone you probably don't know...with the partition down...isn't what I need. But that's me. Definitely not a fan of the seat designer.
Sounds much like travelling on the English TUBE trains Farbar 1955., packed like sardines, no-one 'looks' at anyone else,no-one speaks or cracks a joke, what's wrong with the British, travel with a bunch of Australians and everyone would be cracking jokes whether the Seating was good, bad or simply indifferent. Loosen up guys and gals, it's not then of the world, try thumbing instead if you don't like flying BA. LOL!
terry go back to the nursing home.
Farbar1955 56
You must be Unsociable, unused to mixing with fellow humans and how do you think others feel since the image of your very special self is on full view to OTHER Pax old chap. You are lucky since you are able to afford a business class seat, why not save a few grand and fly Cattle pen class, much more fun sitting next to a huge fat lady who requires a double belt strap or worse, some foul smelling peasant who hasn't changed his socks for a week.Terry Offord
Terry Offord only taken you 1 month to find the on switch to the computer. They should really keep you in the nursing home
What's up with the seat configuration, who dafuq designs it that way.....
Delta one is similarly configured on some of their 777’s
It’s designed to maximise cabin space, so British airways make more money
But some of the seats are so private. And it’s pretty cool sitting backwards. Just like cabin crew!
Tom Ritsn it’s so they can fit more seats sp they make more money
Well BA was the first airline to offer lie flat seats in business class and this seat was it
I don't understand why people always insert "oh it's so much better than economy class so why complain" in their comments. He's making a review of Business class, hence the expectations. Serious;y, would you pay a lot of $$$ for cheap items??? Would it make things better for him to say you know I paid so much for this ticket and I get these cheap blankets and gross looking food....but i guess its ok because economy is so much worse?? Disclosure: I always fly coach because I can't afford upgrades or maybe I can afford it but I can think of so many things to buy with the price of the upgrade. But that's just me.
In any case wtf is with the seat configuration? It's like some mass surgery is about to take place.
It's a human nature even when people talk about air India ...only Indian start bullshiting about air india
Finally, someone raised this point!
Not that I fly premium, but if I paid for Qatar economy and got Ryanair, I would be pretty upset.
Same goes for poor business class.
Enrique Hipolito I
mass surgery lmfaooo0oo
Jealousy..
There's a special place in hell for the designer of this Business Class cabin.
Is it on an aisle and exposed?
With you lol
Whoever designed this seat was a genius! But British airways probably forced the designer to cram as much seats as possible
I kept thinking how awful it would be to sit with a stranger and find out your partition isn't working....Literal nightmare!
@@ivywambui5376 It's actually really good if you know the person on the other side of the partition because you can chat and stuff but also close it if you want privacy or to sleep. I can see why having a stranger there would be awkward
Really poor. I spent a long time defending BA but I cannot justify them on long haul any longer. Only on a handful of short haul routes are they competitive in Business. Sad to see our national airline go this way.
Paul's Trip Reports Still, maybe not as bad as our national airline, Air India.
www.telegraph.co.uk/luxury/travel/british-airways-club-world-business-class-upgrade-white-company/
They kept the layout in the new club world, what morons!
Their A318 Business class isn't too bad apparently.
Paul's Trip Reports it's not our national air line it's a privately owned business owned and answerable to share holders it is only interested in profit.
Still better than economy at least !
their business class layout is awful. looks so claustrophobic
gorf64 Emirates is much better
Looks like they were trying to squash as many seats as possible in the area
IT IS!!!!
@@richardscathouse No It is the same aircraft so the same type of business class
@@mauricegoated That's not how things works. BA is the only airlines with business class like that
I'm British and stopped flying BA when they introduced their new Business Class product. You were fine as you were flying with your BF but imagine flying solo and having to sit opposite a complete stranger. I hate the BA Business Class with a passion and will never fly again with them whilst they have this ridiculous set up. Also what a poor service you received on their flagship aircraft. I've had better meals in economy with other airlines than what you were given - it looked disgusting and I would have sent it back. I'v just flown with Qatar Airways on their B787 and A380 and the difference in service I experienced to what you got travelling on the British flag carrier airline was vastly superior.
Food looked like economy really. Slime with rice :) Would nuke them at a review... He was kinda nice.
BA = Bloody Awful. ‘Nuf said.
Fly aerlingus
Lee Barnes, that is why they have a screen on club, to give you that privacy. We fly club, and always had very good service, and before you ask. We have used several airlines business class over the years, and BA is up there. Virgin....rather not comments on that experience.
A McDonald's Happy Meal would have been better...
That seat configuration is strange. Looking at a stranger the whole flight. No privacy . The food looks horrible. Would expect more for that heafty price tag.
That's his BF
Liliana I’m a tree
Anyone who is outraged by this video ought to actually watch this video properly.
Its absolutely crazy how they can charge for such a product. I've said for the past 2 years (from an economy point of view) how much BA have gone downhill. But to see it covers all classes even to the service is really shocking.
Until Cruz and his team get together and put BA back to the standards where they ought to be I will not be flying with BA any time soon.
The food looks like left over takeaway
That curry is actually very tasty..😍
Nah. At least leftover takeaway tastes good
CrazyAboutSpanish I hate curry
Parody Official Channel you could always choose sth else! 😂
I love it. Fantastic example of how not to layout a business class. Great work!
No way I am sitting backwards
I love it
The aisle seat for british airways business is unacceptable, I don't want to lie down that close to the aisle without privacy, even if you lie the other way it's still odd.
This is what I was thinking as well. My question though is why the hell do British airways not offer simple fabric screen that you can pull either up from the floor or down from the ceiling creating a privacy barrier between the seat and the aisle...That costs literally so little that the price of one ticket for that seat on that flight could have paid for its installation.
All I ask for is privacy, I don't care if the barrier is made out of gold or if it's made out of film. As long as it doesn't bother me and gives me full privacy, I'm good.
BA should've asked Gordon Ramsay to improve their abysmal inflight meals instead of making a stupid safety video featuring him.
Hayden I Good point but BA had Heston Blumenthal redseign their meals.
Compared with Qatar BA is Aeroflot !!
Hayden I hahahaha LMAO, I mean I like BA, but that is so true.
More British Rail than British Airways.
Lol 😂😂
Exactly, reminds me of European sleeper trains than luxury business class flight. Horrible--had to crawl over two people to get to the toilet in the dark while everyone slept.
After seeing yesterday a Documentation about British Airways, i am a little horrified traveling with them seeing how they prepared the meal. These business class is one of the worst i have ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
One thing is guaranteed. With food presented like that, Gordon Ramsay sure doesn't fly BA.
Hahahahah Anthony!!! Good one!
Liam Batson he’ll be full of fuck this and fuck that and like “fuck this shit its horrible!!”
lol
No one wants to hear foul mouthed Ramsay.
GR is even worser , muppet ;-) :-O
That glass of orange juice was just asking to be sent flying.
BA Business is not worth it at all.. I often fly premium economy with them (often getting the tickets on sale or whatever) and it's worth it I guess but to me, I reguarly fly Qantas Business Class and can't recommend it enough in terms of value, service, comfort and safety. Qantas are on it! The two times I fly back to Japan (BA) we landed so hard I thought we'd had an accident.. People were screaming, shit was thrown everywhere.. Not keen to fly with BA much anymore.. Virgin aren't bad I guess.. But anyways, Qantas takes a big hot stinkin' shit on BA in many ways! LOL
i mean the landing part, you cant just say, the ba are crap because of a landing, maybe there was turbulance, or wind shear, that is quite an unfair comparison, but everything else, yeah, i agree with you.
BA used to be so much better compared to other airlines. They must have been going through financial trouble, especially recently. Their ticket prices are cheaper than rival airlines just now but usually they’re more expensive. But the landing thing you shouldn’t blame on BA. I’ve never had a bad landing with BA even when there was large crosswinds. The runway might have been too short for the weight for a soft landing so they had to do a hard landing to be safe. Especially since it’s both the same place you’re going to so what I said is the most likely option
I can't believe that you said of B.A.'s landings as they are like the best ,always do land like perfect landings !! 10 out of 10 times !!! I am always so~impressed by 'em !! I bet the pilots had to do very firm landings in Japan ,btw.I am Japanese !! I've seen how British airways pilots handled landings against crosswinds so on in videos on Y.T. ,they're very very skillful & best !!! So, I am very shocked to read this here !! 💜🥁🐉🎤💞
Every class on every BA flight is unacceptable, I stopped using them 10 yes ago. They are worse than low cost carriers, but a lot more expensive !
AVOID
once the best airline in the world. new management has driven BA into the gutter
oh, it was never the best airline in the world! Other European powerhouses like Lufthansa or Swiss guaranteed way more than BA could ever
BA doesn't offer free food on European flights anymore. Great news for me flying from Istanbul to London and getting delayed by 40mins in the air to take the total flight to 4 hour 30 mins. Not even 1 glass of water. Nothing happens when you ring the bell, only thing that does happen is they come round with the shop.
I asked a attendant halfway through the flight for a glass of water, haven't seen her for 4 months now.
I flew BA business class a couple of years ago and would have to agree with your comments. I was in the isle seat, and the other person had to step over my legs if I was sleeping or stretched out. They would inevitably bump you and wake you up. I also had a guy in the seat behind me that constantly banged his feet on the divider that was unfortunately directly behind my head. Again this broke my sleep on a long haul flight Sydney to London. Service was ordinary. Really didn’t warrant the money we spent on 2 tickets.
Due to the retarded seat layout in business class I avoid BA completely. Their F is just a tiny bit better, still totally inconsistent and the worst in the business.
Jakub I only travel BA when I go on short haul flights. Generally, I would so avoid them.
Jakub first is absolute trash. Been twice from London to Miami, seats uncomfortable, second time round the seat was torn and old. Service is horrible. I’d rather go AA, and that’s saying a lot
Not a very great airline
Please dont use the the R word

I have flown Emirates A380 Business class return to Perth twice this year and have to say the Bar and the seats are amazing. This looks really poor
Flew Finnair & Scoot from UK to Perth. Now wish I had flown Singapore, Emirates, Etihad or Qatar. In scoots favour they were amazing value if not really a business class rather a premium economy!
At least Scoot is cheap. BA isn't and it's shit.
Emirates is just another league ..
It is in another league as you rightly say, however I find the crew a little stiff. I like Malaysian A380 business class although there is no bar and if you have window seat you have to step over your neighbor, however the crew and the service they provide is outstanding!!
Good point, that is why I stated "Emirates A380 Business Class" as opposed to Emirates business class
British Airways charges $10,500, according to Travelocity website, 11/12/2017 at 2015 hours for a Business Class seat. Traveling from London to San Francisco. For the same flight in Economy Class they charge around $2,850. Besides being Business Class, where is the $7000 dollar difference? The video showed that the food is not so hot. You really don’t get that many extras, a blanket, eye mask, skin lotion, toothbrush and little toothpaste. I guess what I am saying is why the huge jump in price for not much more?
You are paying for the extra space, comfort, ceramic crockery, real glass. All adds weight and cost. Critical in an aircraft. Always amazes me how people review the little bag that cost nothing as if that is important. Never had a problem with plastic cups/plates etc so long as the food was good and it usually was and I have always travelled economy. Of course leg room in economy is the biggest problem.
You have found the main point of existence in the Western world, and have ascended: you don't care what other twats think of you. When you realize that 85% of the humans on this doomed planet are twats you will become a god.
Profit my boy... Profit...
Well what you pay for I guess is the bed. Being able to lay down and get a real night's sleep could be worth it if you have a super important appointment just after you arrive. Other than that, yes it seems really overpriced.
Life is a game, learn to play it....
Used to fly Australia - UK return on BA/Qantas codeshare flights. Awful attitudes from BA cabin staff at times. Qantas was another world with friendly staff.
Nipper Forsdyke I agree. Qantas and Singapore Airlines have the best service in my opinion. I love flying with them whenever I go to Australia.
I strongly disagree , I’ve never had a problem with ba, and if I did the crew are so helpful , I’m sure they would help as much as they could
This is what happens when you get the ex vueling ceo to run a flag carrier.
YOU SIR, are absolutely right. The CEO's previous 'appointment' was the Battersea Dog's Home!! Bark Bark.
like qatar did?
*A disgruntled BA Customer once told me that BA flights are like National Express Coaches on Wings* 😀😅😀😀
That is just pure nonsense.
Short-haul, it's basically Ryanair in drag.
6yjjk 😂😂😂 lmfao
hahahahahah!
NigerianFoodChannel lollllllll
I wouldn't say "controversial" as you put it, some of us tall people care more about the seat than the food. I will say that 7 years ago I flew only BA as AA was substandard at the time. AA was still sporting the 767 for international flights. AA has now stepped up their game, and I now prefer them.
Aircraft… AA
Lounges… BA
Meh, I doubt anyone read this far. :P
Julijana Torok im 6'4 and all i want is fukin space
The Gaming Rhino fuckin same dude I’m 6’4 but can’t afford anything better than economy
the way that guy smiled back at him
I love watching vids like this, pretending like I'd ever be able to afford even business class like this lol
As a UK person want to support the national carrier but they really have gone down hill. Their first is like top notch business class nowadays, their business class has a weird setup and then food more premium economy. They will die by the sword if they not fix it.
Thanks for the review, not sure why all the bad likes????
At 16:39, did you land or were you shot down?
funkabby1 I know right
funkabby1 when I touched the time ad there was a baby commercial with the I like to move it move it music
hahahahahahah
I'd like to see you all fly an A380 and see how well that goes.
Flying over Ukraine it seems.
BA’s premium economy is better than their business and a lot cheaper
Christian Giardina For real! this buisness class is an entire joke
Youwon't GetMyName - better seat in terms of comfort and size, more privacy, much quieter cabin, better food and better service. I’m pretty sure that premium economy is much better than economy.
@@christiangiardina977 Premium economy is a step up from economy but also worlds apart from business class. The ability to lie down on and sleep on a long haul flight is almost worth the food being terrible.
You'd be better off paying for an exit row seat in economy than premium economy in my opinion.
Youwon't GetMyName no you don’t talk shit. Have you seen ba premimum econ in real life? The seats are considerably larger than standard econ
Coach on Singapore or Cathay is better too.
Norwegian Premium costs like 300/400 on this route. Many similar features, they give you free WiFi and you save at least 10 times the amount you would have to pay on BA
BA surely should be downgraded from 4 to 3 star on skytrax this year.
They should downgraded altogether and kicked out of being Britain's airline at all.
That's not how private corporations work...
Judging by how long Turkish maintained their "best airline in Europe" award, and how Lufthansa is somehow a 5-star airline (Lufthansa are great, but not 5-star great...) I don't think Skytraxx ever had any credibility.
They do have a lot to improve on but when you consider that EasyJet and Ryanair are 3 star then there is no way that BA should be.
Yeah, then they might aswell become a budgeting airline, like wizz, easyjet and ryanair
Great shot of that airstream coming off the engine.
Haha. They are called "vortex generators" and help the plane produce more lift at lower airspeeds. (at the expense of drag at higher airspeeds) They let the plane get off the ground in a semi-reasonable amount of runway. Very cool though. What you see is the water vapor.
As someone who has done 5-14 hour flights multiple times in coach each time, this would be heaven.
Preach
Not for your wallet though, eh? He didn't get this flight for free...
If this is heaven, then what would Etihad/Emirates/Qatar/Singapore Airlines be? Valhalla?
You're missing the point. The price is not that of economy.
Angelica Pickles technically he did because he used air miles
What's with the funeral like music in the beginning? Is this on board?
Last business class on BA was 10 years ago. Never again.
Wow, that is really poor for Business Class. The food looked really disappointing, and how could the crew not notice all the spilled gravy on the side of that plate? Unbelievable! Had I paid for that service I would have wanted a refund.
Amtran727 its a plane its not like standing in a fucking kitchen there is going to be turbulance people are going to spill stuff, it happens just man the fuck up and deal with it and also every airline has a budget not every airline has the money to have "perfect buisness class" people who can afford buissness class and say its poor and the airline can do better i'd like to see you guys do better than a PROFETIONAL COMPANY WHO KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THERE DOING. stop critisizing and just be gratefull you can afford to fly bussness class all the time. fuck sake
That is the most elitist attitude I've seen.
If it makes you feel any better we flew this same route two months ago in first class and it was a disaster. The service was clumsy, literally in dropping and tripping, as well as forgetting completely forgetting several requests. At both dinner and breakfast they were out of my first request (and second at breakfast). In addition, the plane was just looking worn and weary. My full reclining chair was a bit of a nightmare so I was left sitting up the entire flight. It was incredibly disappointing for us because our first experience with BA First ten years ago was phenomenal but in the three times since it’s gone more and more downhill with each flight. The good news? We returned in business class and had EXCEPTIONAL service and while I wasn’t looking forward to crawling over someone’s feet to get to the aisle from our double center seating business class was only 3/5’s full and so the seat next to me was empty. One more thing...the snack area they describe so attractively was an open bag of candy and an open bag of crackers.
Wow that's insane! Glad I didn't shell out my miles for first class, then.
Mindblowing bad :0
Had the exact same experience flying lax to lhr. TERRIBLE service, woefully shabby plane, out of order toilets, meal choices not available for dinner & breakfast, and basically no one cares. I complained on the flight and afterwards to customer service, and literally no one gives a shit. Embarrassing.
Stef that doesn't compare. You paid for an economy seat so you expect economy standards. When you pay for business class seat you expect business class standards not premium economy service and product.
Stef Your comment makes you sound jealous. This is the deal: you pay for economy, you get economy standards. If I pay first prices then I should get first class treatment - You shouldn’t expect anything less.
BA standards are low in comparison to middle eastern competition. The fact that you would settle for below par treatment says more about you than it does me, or any of the other commenters.
I miss the Elemis face cream. They changed the menu, amenities kit, pillows and blankets at the end of 2017.
What’s up with the small windows on the A380?
Hi dan, a good friend of mine who we used to work on BA has now moved to virgin, She is more happy and earning more, BUT she realy likes the food and the pax, CHEERS
I was beginning to think that you were always positive even when faced with serious flaws by not so good airlines. Then comes this! Wow! Thanks for telling it like it is. I am a very frequent flier on BA, and totally agree with your review. PS: Your boyfriend looks very nice. You make a handsome couple.
Has BA followed up after your critique?
I genuinely interested in what you do. Do you just fly around the world Reviewing the service... Because my gosh you've got it figured out! Fair play. I really.enkoy your vids.
Love seeing the insides of those magnificent machines!
BA Club World aisle seats are so bad you might as well lie on the floor in the aisle, absolutely no privacy whats so ever. A classic case of the designer not taking the customers needs into consideration. I hate being the first to put the privacy screen up, and if you are in the middle seat you have 2 strangers staring straight at you. Considering how reserved and private British people are this astounds me. BA starting to fall a long way behind some pretty basic competition.
Well, what they do have going for them is a 7% profit margin, nearly more than Air France's and Lufthansa's combined profit margins. I wonder how they got that...
So sad how they used to be the best airline around and within a decade they are one of the worst!! I remember the good old days when they were the pride of British hospitality!
under Lord Marshall classy elegance and curtesy!!!!
Last year we flew BA First from Vancouver to London. This was also a disappointment. The food was not good and there was a meal with beans that several of the 14 passengers chose. At altitude the effect of this were pretty horrendous. We have 2 BA business class flights booked in May which I am not looking forward to after viewing this clip. Give me Virgin Upper Class anytime over BA
Did you get any compensation for the lack of food?
You've listed info about social media and gear but please list the music credits as well. Thank you.
BA...American...United.....Delta.....Air Canada...They are all so big and have monopolies on so many routes that they most likely don't care about complaints...other than viral videos where passengers are seen being attacked by staff/security.
I've done BA A380 LAX to LHR and back in the premium economy section in 2014. I have to say that seems like a much better deal. I get that they're trying to pack as many people as possible in business class but I really don't like business class where not all seats are created equal. 2-3-2 sees like too much. In this, I'd either choose a window or one of those center ones. Even then it seems too narrow or too exposed. I think American Airlines and Cathay have a much better Business Class for direct competition. I recently had excellent service on American, I mean really outstanding, both in Business Class (going out) and Economy coming back. I too have a limited diet and was impressed with the food although a bit bland.
Yup. Always fly LHR - LAX in the A380 premium with BA and I've never had a better flight experience. (Never flown Business or above).
I just traveled in a 2-4-2 configuration. It was horrible.Wish I seen Dan's review before I flew. NEVER again.
Judging by the landing, I'd congratulate the pilot on his first commercial flight. Pretty rough, considering the conditions.
It's funny because every business class flight I've been on with BA has been great but it's shit for everyone else. Maybe I'm just lucky!
same here.
You most certainly are. You seem to be getting the Worldwide crew a lot, who are generally much more professional than the mixed fleet. The mixed fleet are simply overworked underpaid college kids.
Speedbird ok thanks
If you're outraged by this video, take a second to put yourself in the shoes on a Club World passenger. People pay thousands of dollars for this product, and expect service that, at least to some extent, matches their investment. I agree that everyone should be allowed to have a bad day, and I won't avoid British Airways at all costs in the future, but objectively, it's hard to deny that this flight was poor by business class standards.
I highly agree. I love BA for their pilots, if you haven't seen their pilot training, its best in the world. Recently we flew two Club World flights. One on the A380 and one on a 747-400. I must admit that the A380 was perfect although you can tell that there are budget cuts in place. However in the 747 it was terrible, a family was refused food ON BUSINESS. The flight attendant forgot our orders of tea many times and the entertainment system broke for a while. I'm British by the way, so I'd love to defend my countries airline although I do live in America, but I think if I had the choice I would definitely fly on Singapore Airlines or Delta believe it or not. Great review though.
I wish I would have seen this before we took our BA business class flight to London. We are not wealthy people, by any means, but we worrked overtime, put our pennies together over the years to treat the family ..just this once. Having worked in an emergency room, and having to take care of sick relatives, I totally understand that there are much worse things in life. But, it just would have been nice, after spending so much money, to not have such a miserable flight.
David David, Delta business class is not impressive, if BA is worse it must be pretty bad.
Ethiad and Qatar exceptional business class, BA could/should learn from both! This is disgusting treatment.
Or they pay thousands of pounds?
Hi do you know the song at 4:00?
Jaysuss, did the plane break in half when landing or what?
Why?
pewdie pie do you have ears or eyes at all? That was a shit landing
I love that your reviews are honest. Some economy class food looks better than this. No matter how your channel grows (and it is growing since i first followed you) always keep it honest like this please !
Of course, honesty is key! Thanks for watching Yasmin :)
Dantorp Aviation pleasure ! U keep em coming I'll keep on watching :)
I am a frequent flyer, usually in business class. Personally, I would not enjoy a backwards facing seat or compartment, and just watching you in there made me feel a little claustrophobic. I was very surprised at the meal service. Thanks for sharing.
Francis Barca its actually way safer but this one is weird.. Imagine going to the bathroom for it? U have to climb on someone else? No thank you ..
I flew in First with BA recently and sneakily decided to checkout a club world seat. (The plane was half empty) The seat itself isn't very good, but it is far from being unbearable. The backwards facing seats may look claustrophobic on camera but I found it just fine in person. For me the real issue with BA is their horrendous service.
Backward facing seats are used in the RAF for obvious reasons, (better survivability in the event of a crash. Also, when you are not travelling at ground level .eg in a car, what the hell can you see, the ground can be as much as 33,000 feet below you. Think yourself lucky you can fly 1st class, , probably your company paying for your seat anyway.
Francis Barca I
Seriously? Lots of people will NEVER get the chance to fly in 1st class, let alone business class, and you’re actually COMPLAINING?!? Wow, I bet you would much rather sit in “terrible” business class than give any of your precious funds to charity.
Thanks for always giving an honest review :)
BA's business class looks worse than Singapore Airline's economy.
the seating arrangements are just awful
This video is about 15 minutes longer than it needs to be.
All you need is the word *Shit* to appear on the screen and boom your videos done
I flew on the same type of Aircraft with British Airways in Business class and had a great experience! To be fair, it was my first and only time flying in business class, but still I really enjoyed it. The food was definitely better looking on my flight though, I have to say yours looked unappetizing!
I was once bumped from Cathay to BA for a London to Hong Kong in business class trip... The cathay pacific flights was overbooked, since it was a redemption ticket through Asia Miles, they bumped me to a BA flight which was within 30 minutes, so I was ok... but NEVER AGAIN!!
What job do you do that requires you to fly so often?
Nigel Job? Someone would pay the boy? For what?
Great review! I would never fly BA Business when there are so many better airlines out there. I agree that the meals were especially poor on your flight.
It would be interesting to see a response from BA!
Dan didn't even mention some of the most horrific parts of the design. Such as having to step over your neighbour to get out of your seat which means either waking them up or risking tripping. In addition, if you don't know your neighbour, it' really awkward when the stewardess leans over them to hand you your food and beverages. I flew BA Business class from London to Cape Town round trip. Never again. On the other hand, I've heard that a new configuration is on the way....eventually.
Oh 'horrific', please, you flew business class and you think it was horrific to step over someone to exit your seat, or to have your food passed over someone - you need a reality adjustment!
eventually like when lol.. all their new planes have the old configuration but packed tighter coz 787 is smaller :-/
Hahahah quote on quote “dessert” I was thinking exactly that before you said it 🤣🙄
At one time all my long haul flights use to be a with BA, over the years their standard of service dropped rapidly, so now I use other European airlines and found excellent in providing in flight service(s) well spoken and calm flight attendant's
Hi, I really like the music used for the video, what is it? Thanks
That landing... OUCH! Thanks for such an honest review.
@1:43: Good grief! My first thought was what is with the dentist chairs! "Which in-flight movie would you like with your root canal?"
At least your seat mate was cute :) :)
Have last flown BA back in '02 when we got amenity kits and real food in long haul economy. Has things changed for the worse since then?
Niladri Haldar Yes they have. In premium economy, BA serves half a glass of juice and a single granola bar for breakfast.
I totally agree. I was really shocked to find the standard quality of food and services for the British Airways business class were so disappointing. I have also tried their first class, but however, their first class standard is close to some other business class standard airlines which costs similar or even less.
However, despite of all that, the crew were helpful in the both cabins First and Business class.
Thank you for this review, we were going to use BA, BC for our flights home when we move back to the UK from Australia. We will fly a different brand now.
That aisle seat, ehh. Not a fan... very insightful review!
Craig... Then don't choose that seat then... Your comment is not very insightful...
Craig Kell not a fan of the tunnel seating. Coffin-like.
He's actually seated at multiple windows
Awe how sad!😭 I feel for you! I never experienced poor flight service regarding their 🍴🍕🍔food and privacy! They better up their game ASAP! ✈🙏💙🙏😎
Diane Crowder WoW take it easy on the emoji girl.
Got upgraded to First Class from Eco on BA on 747 on Vancouver to Heathrow ages ago, that was unbelieveable nice in every aspect.
anybody know the music between 0:47 - 1:21? PLEASE tell me!
this is just one of the worst cabin and seat design....
For the price, it's mortifying. Never again.
"Mortifying"? MORTIFYING? That's an entitled position.
I found the design of the decreasing space to the feet uncomfortable. As a side sleeper it would not allow to get into me sleep position.
Can someone answer me, is it possible to upgrade economy to premium and then to business?
BA BLOODY AWFUL
Shut up you donkey..
Lmao
It’s pretty good compared to some airlines I’ve flown on and the food I had was brilliant
I have never flown business. So sorry if my questions seems amateur. Are the passengers expected to take the amenities home?
You can take the amenities kit they give you home, and pyjamas if you get it, though that's usually in First Class. You leave everything else on the plane.
@@pronunciationwhiz thank you!
When I was a teenager at yhe beginning of the 90s i made some intercontinental travels with my parents. The actual business class food is so similar to the economy class food European airlines served during the 90s
I am so sorry I spent so much money flying business class 380 with B.A. . It was an uncomfortable nightmare, with horrible food and a miserable flight crew, and we're an easy going ,polite family. I make sure to avoid them at any and all cost now, when I make our vacation plans. Never again British Airways!
jane laus oh no the food was terrible(!) just be gratefull you can get fucking food and stop citisizing BA when you probably cant do better yourself its fucking pathetic
DemDank Memes if you’re paying a premium for business class is EXPECTED to be a nice pleasurable and luxurious experience. They’re not doing you a favour! It’s non negotiable! You’re paying for it after all....
Maybe this attitude that we should be grateful for getting anything at all explains the lack of quality of BA and most other British service providers.
If I pay a premium sum I expect to get fucking good food. You are not grateful for getting food in the restaurant, because this is what they exist for.
The thing is, I've travelled on British Airways World Traveller Plus(premium economy) and the food was OUTSTANDING. It was so good, and there was beef steak. The seat was also awesome and I think that World traveller plus is better than club world on British Airways A380. I've also slept very well on my way back to HK on the 777 World traveller plus. I slept for 8 hours on that flight.
WTP seems to be a solid product.
I agree; WTP is a much better value than CW and much more comfortable even w/o a fully reclining seat.
This is amazing! I've always flown in economy so this is amazing!
Thanks for being honest and fair in your reviews! Stay that way!
