as a 56-year-old physician in the United States who has been an avid motorcycle traveler for 40 years... Anyone who loves to see the adventures of others on youtube... I have spent hundreds of hours watching stories such as these HOWEVER.... None have touched me like this this is truly a wonderful piece of journalism and I cannot thank you enough for sharing this remote part of the world with us to see the emotion in your eyes and hear the emotion in your voice, showing us the gulags and these mining towns which have evaporated was truly inspirational Thank you so much for taking the time to share this incredible piece of work with us it is really something very special thank you greg
Cristian... you certainly are, and I can't wait to see the next thing you have to show us please be safe and thank you again for all the time it took to bring this to us.... It is very much appreciated
All right, after part 1, this part clearly shows how hard and exhausting is this road! Your report of gulags is really emotional. I m happy you made it safely 👍
What a masterpiece of filming, editing and storytelling by this incredible guy! I understood that he is not with us anymore...what a pity, RIP Cristian!
Wonderful story. Everything is touching, the rider, the bike, the speed, the gravel, the ambient, the unknown, the obstacles, the music, camera, postprocess... bravo.
Amazing! I take my hat off to you for doing this adventure alone. A thorough test of one's self discipline, and a way to get to know yourself a little better.
Somber ride, for sure. This is one of my favorite channels, product focus/production quality... this channel has it all and he never pulls a punch when a bike has an issue, or when it shines.

I'm revisiting this video after watching it in January 2019. Because I watched it I said, ok. And I went and bought one just like the one in the video. I've only taken it to short 350km trips though. Still just as enjoyable. I love it so much. No problems. I hope soon I have the time to do a trip that at least gets it dirty. So far 11500kms of 85% city driving. Still a more than capable bike for Mexico City terrible roads. I guess it's a little like off-roading. I just love it.
Wowwww !!!!! You are the guy !!!! Alone in this challenging road. Great job !!! After you relax tell us about the equipment in general, clothes, gloves, helmet and of course it seams that the GS850 did a good job. Congrats from Brazil !!!!
Really appreciate you making this series.... It's unbelievably raw... Being from Australia, I've never seen anything like this.. You're a brave man to do this kind of adventure.
Great work all around Crisian - thank you for bringing this part of the world to the rest of us who have always wondered about this part of Siberia - even McGregor didn't get it all in 'Long Way Round'. Please keep it going, and hopefully some year you have a chance to experience some ADV riding in the Southwest of the USA! Best of luck to you, happy trails sir.
That feeling of being alone in the middle of nowhere, is one of the greatest things ever. Congratulations on your trip, i admire you, riding 2000 in that shitty weather must be very hard. I recommend you to take the Carretera Austral in Chilean and Argentinian Patagonia, it is a life challenging experience, your trip made me remember the one i did from Colombia to Patagonia on my Tiger 800XC, it had a lot of dirt roads and remote villages, but the difference is that you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes. Im glad youtube put this on my recommendations. Saludos desde Colombia!
Yeah. But being alone in this eerie/scary music and situation is a type of drug for me. I too living in a abandoned place and could feel what this guy would be feeling there.
It's too late for this trip but I'd like to offer some advice on the muddy radiator problem, as I'm sure it will happen again. Save a water bottle, a soft sided one like you have, the kind with a plastic cap, preferably a strong one. Instead of throwing water onto the radiator like you did, stab the top of cap with your knife and make a small hole. Fill the bottle and then you can squeeze it and shoot water where you want it. It's much more efficient, both in the amount of water you use and in actually cleaning the radiator. Keep up the awesome work!!!
All adventure isn't sunshine and butterflies! The ride you did was through a dark place, and you captured the essence of that perfectly! Very brave to take on that journey solo! Thank you for posting this and keep up the excellet work!
@@DriveMagRiders I agree with other commentators - you captured the mood of a somber historic era perfectly in your music choice and created a great one-man video production. Your accent also fits perfectly, Lol! Love the drone footage - just enough, and tastefully incorporated in the whole episode, no hot-dogging about with the drone.
It's so crazy that on August 7th you were in Siberia riding somewhere past Ust Nera while I was just living my boring life at work. I like that you gave the date. It makes the whole thing seem just that much more real
Brilliant, I think it would be a great idea to make a video with advice and tips for those wishing to do the Road of Bones. And also the cost of transporting the bikes and the cost of the train tickets and how much the fuel costs in the isolated locations. I will do it one day, would love to know how and how much!

Well done, Cristian! Seems a travesty to edit such an arduous journey into such a short piece of video: we could all imagine the gruelling nature of an experience that non-bikers will fail to comprehend. Beautifully edited and hauntingly portrayed.
It was definitely worth the wait! The whole video till the end looked like you were riding in a ghost country and it as scary thinking of it riding alone and also managing all the videography including the drone videos. Excited for the next part! Ride Safe Brother!
@@DriveMagRiders Oh I didn't knew that! Anyways I love all your content especially because it is more focused on adventure bikes and travel. Love from India.
Hai Christian, thank you for sharing your amazing journey to the part of the world, that maybe most of us only imagine can visit there.. Still hoping that it will be part III. Enjoy the trip, ride safely & wishing you all the best..
Tough going. Not my idea of touring but gives a completely different perspective to what a top notch bike can do. I won’t be putting Siberia on my bucket list though!
You don't see many motorcycling videos in this part of the world and now we know why. You and your drone braved through some challenging and abysmal conditions! Well done! Love watching your vlog channel and this one was particularly interesting. Perhaps, the gulags or the creepy scenery along the way. It would be cool to see in person the gulags, where my dad and his family lived for a few years in late forty's but I'm not sure if I ever will.

This is just brilliantly inspiring although inspiration alone without the courage that you have in abundance isn't enough to bring me to these places. Hats off, man.
Absolutely brilliant vlog - really captured the bleakness of Siberia. It would leave anyone with very mixed feelings. No bad thing to be physically, psychologically & philosophically challenged all in one ride.
I don't know you're brave or stupid but this is an amazing adventure for you to have taken on. I thought you was a Journalist but I now see you as a brave pioneer, excellent thank you!
Really fascinating footage - curious about the red screen on your dash in several moments and had to chuckle when you were banging your air filter to clean it... Thanks for another interesting ADV ride on another new bike with great story & footage!
