Getting XP bonuses early is better 99% of the time for the same reason it pays dividends to invest early. The earlier you have that bonus working for you, the more it's going to pay you back.
Great vid Tony! Glad you just so happen to be reaffirming my early decisions too lol. I maxed out energy for the xp bonus and went for the strength tree next (bout halfway thru it so far). After that I was a little unsure of where to go between vitality and mastery. With how much I love the game I figured I'd probably just head from one section to the next maxing them as I go...i think I'll probably do mastery next, but I'll grab the key vitality nodes first, and get the best of both worlds!
This was roughly my take on it as well. Energy is without a doubt the best tree, buffing your Extreme healing and Extreme generation is the best option to go for first and foremost.
@@TonyBingGaming 'tis the name of the game! I'm enjoying the grind, though. Takes me back to Marvel Heroes in a way, running through Infinity Rifts instead of the good ol' terminals.
I mostly tend to use a team with energy/ethereal abilities (Storm, Scarlet Witch, Dr Strange) plus one physical/projectile attacker (Ghost Rider, Hawkeye). Which is better in terms of increasing the rate of my team's damage output potential: - Filling out the ENERGY hexagon first? - Or filling out the MASTERY hexagon first?
I think guarding is a key-feature in this game. I started at mastery and had no problem in the story, not even wakanda or Dormamun, even thought I changed my team set-up a lot. So do not understand that people find this simple game hard, but I use block/dodge/cover etc a lot.
No worries, it's all good XD I appreciate you taking the time respond all the same. Been binging your midnight suns content and after finishing that im looking to start my next marvel adventure.@@TonyBingGaming
Will you be doing any kind of tier list? Original I thought this was jus a button masher but there is a lot of depth to it. I i only just unlocked Luke cage but my roster is getting full. Who should I be spending resources on?
jeisson25 tried Kamala right now my main is hulk captain America iron man and trying randoms for the fourth. I don’t like capt America so would like to use someone else
@@jeisson25 I just started leveling up Scarlet Witch her heal is awesome. Im leveling Drax as well hes a add clearing machine and pretty good against bosses.
I just started going for the XP one. I read I only need to grab certain ones from the outside to unlock the one in the middle. will check out your guide though as if we cannot respec, I don't want to mess it up.
Although you say to avoid some nodes, but you can't get the center ability unless you unlock all the nodes, isn't it? So in the end you are forced to go through that anyway. I think that vitality and strength are the 2 most viable to start with
Great vid Tony, so... I am in deep with this. Looking for tips on ISO-8s and also, best ways to level up characters as the game progresses. I know you out that in your tips vid, but more in depth. I currently have guys at 24-25... then like 3/4 of the roster like 10- below. I want to level the whole roster fully. That’s my goal. What is your take!? Thanks bud. Awesome work!
What is your opinion in regards to filling out the second hexagon of each color? For example, after you unlock the Heroic Revives node in the top left of the Energy hexagon (blue), you can keep going up and to the left into a second blue hexagon with more nodes. Is that worth filling out, or do you recommend filling out all of the original six inner hexagons before moving to the outer six?
Honestly I've not paid much attention to this system since the COTV patch and it's not made any difference to my gameplay (You can still smash everything in game easy enough with right team). I'd just upgrade whatever matches the team you like running the most.
So, Tony, when you say skip the unwanted ones, cant you not skip bc you need then all to get the center node? What exactly does "completing" mean? Thanks for the video! I've been holding off until you made one haha
@@TonyBingGaming When you re-do campaign chapters that you've previously finished, does it still give you the same amount of experience points or does it scale according to your character's/team's level?
Just so I understand ~ go in the order you presented them and unlock all the stat nodes first and then unlock the specialty nodes with the 3 stars, correct?
The iso one has me sooooo confused... I don’t know if I should use ability boosts, strength (or mastery) or one of the iso’s that power up melee or piercing... and I also just unlocked an iso that strengthens all abilities that have an attack trait so now I’m even more confused
Energy allows you to execute more special attacks (which allows for increased chances of synergy attacks), and lets you defeat enemies quicker which then lets you gain more XP faster (useful when grinding). Vitality just increases your HP and lets you live a bit longer but does not protect against enemy attacks (physical or energy/magic).
Can anyone confirm if there's a New Game+ option after you beat this game for the first time? If so, do you get to keep your unlocked skill tree and ISO-8s?
Once you finish the game on either friendly or mighty, you unlock superior difficulty and can start with all your progress, alliance nodes and iso8. There's also alternate costume colours and rifts hidden throughout as you progress through superior difficulty. Hope this helps
Nice, now a guide on how to use the iso-8 chart would be nice
The moment I saw "XP + 10%" i went all toward energy. Great video
Thanks and yeah it's great due to size of the roster.
I'd be tempted to go for the XP boost first. Reminds me of leveling Cyclops in Marvel Heroes for his xp bonus to everyone!
Thats what i was thinking but im scared to make a move lol.

Your stuff is do great. Have had this game for ages and never enjoyed it. Watched some of your stuff and it made me realise I was playing all wrong.

A TonyBingGaming Marvel guide? That takes me back.
:D
Finally bought a Switch- Tony was the first place I went to get information. I love the analysis and rationale.
:D
Great advice as always, Tony. Wish I'd had this when starting out, I've wasted a lot of nodes!
Just gotta keep grinding then ha ha :P

I'd say Energy. Need that for abilities.
Your hard work is appreciated!!! All wonderfully consolidated and organized!! Still a big help a year later😎 Thanxs
Happy to help!
Love all your videos bud, keep up the good work.
Appreciate it :)
Thanks so much! Your suggestions really helped me.
Was waiting for this vid! Glad it's finally out XD
I jumped the gun and started using this as soon as I could. It was mostly health and the defensive stuff so hopefully I didn't screw up to badly lol.
Well in the end you have to unlock EVERY node in order to unlock the 4th ISO.
We need a gem of the kursed iso for mags in this game.
Great video! Very informative as always.

Omg i completed the mastery part at the first time... i'm a clown. D"""; PD: Thank u so much for this guide
This is what we needed. 👍🏽
Really useful guide, I was wondering if the priority is to get the additional ISO slot first or focus on the other optimal upgrades first?
Thanks and I have no idea as not played this in 3 years 😅

Iron Fist is great for his Rise of Iron, Dragon Smasher and Thunder Kick. I used him with Strange, Cage and Daredevil.
I've been reading online that Scarlet Witch is a DPS machine and that Kamala is really good too.

Obviously, it was an oversight when you didn't mark increasing the damage of melee and piercing attacks as necessary unlocks. ;)

@TonyBingGaming Picked this game up very recently, how applicable is this info nowadays?
Bit out of date but a good at starting point :)
TonyBingGaming Thanks! My alliance screen is a mess, atm. Shootin for that Infinite Thanos!
Good luck!
Which flat stat is better to get? Energy or vitality?
Energy allows you to execute more special attacks (which allows for increased chances of synergy attacks), and lets you defeat enemies quicker which then lets you gain more XP faster (useful when grinding).
Vitality just increases your HP and lets you live a bit longer but does not protect against enemy attacks (physical or energy/magic).
Where is the beast place to farm enhancement points
Level heroes. Check my XP farming guide.
So how do i determine which nodes are the special ones?
They are on far end and cost 100, 100 and 130 points.

Go for the energy node first people
Sb: nice guide btw
Anyone else want a black order dlc??
Hell yeah!
Yes
We need Carnage!!!! And a playable juggernaut and and green goblin!!!! To many characters left out of this game
At least we have the game models so its very much likely we'll get them, if not some.
This whole part of the game is just too much
Wayyy too much information to take in at once.
I wish understood half of what you're saying
Try traveling more or watch Trainspotting and Shrek a few times.
