This game needs a sequel if they made some improvements to the camera and gameplay a bit it would be an amazing game it’s still good but falls short in some aspects
I liked ultimate alliance one and two way better. They had less cartoony graphics. A better storyline and were longer. Makes for a fun replay even like 17 years later. Mua3 is fun but 1 and 2 were really something else

You forgot to mention Psylocke can self synergize. And I really don't understand why Doom is just an honorable mention when he should be at least top 3. Scatter shot and resonant blast are definitely two of the most powerful synergies regarding DPS.
I use phoenix, gambit, iceman, and Cyclops as my primary team, and ansolutely love using doom. I use his basics and aerial to replenish EP, no matter how little damage it does. And his heavy attack having a teleport? And doom is able to fly and spam rockets that auto target enemies? Doom should be at least top 5 if not top 3. Otherwise, I do agree with the list. Tho it seems like you forgot Invisible Woman can reduce dmg taken by 75% with one of her abilities. This is insanely helpful, and she does have some good stagger and damage abilities like stealth strike
Venom and Deadpool are my two favorite. Deadpool's light attack just eats those stagger bars for bosses and Venom is a beast with the right synergy attacks.
Thanos infinite, wolverine, doctor doom and phoenix are my go to team, but I mainly use thanos as he completely runs through everyone. Took me a couple of plays to get used to him but is he fun!!!
No Miles Morales with his electro web AOE & web strike combo is criminal. Also Colossus Silver Slam with Miles Morales epectro web is night night for enemies.

My son actually got this about a month ago for his 5th birthday and it's the only game I've played since lol he can't put in down either. Definitely an improvement over part 2.

As someone with no expertise in the game I’m surprised doom wasn’t higher up, when I first got him a started messing around with the doom bot duo attacks, it felt super op. Only reason I got through the god emperor bossfight was cause it gave me doom as a playable character at the last shield point for some reason, before I finished the actual boss
Yeah they really made the Mutants like the most buster characters in the game. Cable is problemly the hardest to use do to lacking synergy options, but he's still Hella powerful

Well my team is 1 Thanos 2 Wolverine 3 Psylocke 4 Phoenix Phoenix make you never run out of blue Energy, Thanos melt down the staggerbar and Psylocke and Wolverine finish the job. 😁

@@dacesolo I agree and thats why I said he should have it on a list. I can upload videos of me destroying Wakanda 65 Rush with Ms Marvel. I tried Black Panther and he just isnt doing it for me. Ms Marvels spinny footy thing is OP. She does use a lot of EP but if you pair her with Phoenix, it is over. I take Capt America and do his damage buff, then kill mobs with Ms Marvel, throw in Phoenix’s EP regeneration, and repeat. I have never cleared more mobs without her. Just her spinning twice while they are stunned, depletes their bar in less than a second. Black Panther is iffy. I tried the setup he mentions in this video and he just doesnt give me the same damage/clear/time ratio that Ms Marvel has.

You forgot cable! He's like Thanos but better, he has a gravity shot, plus a Lazer that peirces for massive aoe damage pluse his Lazer fires its self so cable can still move and use other attacks for more dps and he has his shield power which protects him from the high damage attacks that 1 shot you on higher difficulties.
Same! I use Cable as my tanker and i use that exact same skill, I can't believe he is not included, He is like Thanos!, It's like using 3 skill at a time withouy draining my blue.
He's average at best in this game. Phenomenal character, but he doesn't have the damage output to hold his own with the characters listed here. His "Eat Lead" ability alone drops him several tiers.
I love the game, but it's true they took away a lot of Melee options like chargeable Heavy Attacks, grabs and throws, and unique stuff like Wolverines Rage meter If we ever get a 4th Game in the future I hope they bring back those stuff

In general, the X-Men are always the best and most fun characters to play with in any game they are.

Thor and Pheonix were with me from the second I got them. Thors so versatile and having that ep steal made even impossible mode feel not too bad

I'm currently using deadpool, wolverine, psylock and nightcrawler. That team is amazing!!

I remember spamming Deadpool regeneration and shooting to beat the boss fights lol, biggest grind I’ve ever done, some of the fights took over an hour
Ms Marvel should had been on this list as well. Very cheap with her spin kick and is pretty much needed to clear most training rifts with ease.
I’ve gone through the game a few times with Ghostrider as my lead character 🤷🏻♂️
Ghost Rider is still an awesome character! I have a ton of fun using him.
