hey rage, great job, on the video, i really like the style you're using for them, because like, even though direwolf does mod spotlights it's never the same as seeing someone play it in survival, really informative, keep up the great work C:
Hey Luis, thanks! I am super glad you like the series format :) changing it up a bit, so hopefully this one goes over a bit better with people looking for more concise videos still in survival.
As someone who just started playing modded Minecraft I love your videos, your surviving with IC2 series helped me a lot. I appreciate thath you not only explain how to do something but why. Keep up the good work.
Always happy to hear my videos have been helpful :) hope all is going well in your journey into Modded MC! Best of luck to you and I will do my best to keep the videos coming.
Rage, I haven't been on the channel for a while. Glad to see you're still continuing the Surviving With series. (You probably don't remember me, but I found you when you were doing the surviving with ic2 series.)
Of course I remember you! I remember basically every person who comments on my videos because I appreciate it so much and you've been super active. I wouldn't be here without all of you so the least I can do is remember all of you and reply to each comment.
Ik that u will never see this comment but man ily I've been playing Minecraft with my friends and u have player every mod and I rly like seeing u playing and then I can show my friends cool things ty
I read pretty much every comment, even ones on old videos so hey there! I’m glad my videos have helped you make some cool builds and impress your friends :)
hi im pretty new to this chanale (found you 2 days ago) and im late to the comment section, but i want to say that these survival with series helps me alot and its better then one of those boring tutorials most of the time. ty for your vidios
6:04 The capacitor recipe made me think for a few seconds as well. I've just been used to playing with Thermal Expansion, IC2, Immersive Engineering, or all three.
Two things: The glass smelting recipes don't conflict anymore, so there are is no need to change the smelter mode with just Ender IO anymore. But it's very useful if there's a mod that adds smelting recipes for iron and redstone ;) The "Signal Color" of the conduits is always the redstone channel. Energy conduits have no energy channels, but all conduits that do have channels name their channel color button just "color".
Hmmm, now that you mention it I did notice the glass recipe change when cooking some down off camera, but didnt think anything of it. Awesome to see that small but super annoying conflict has been fixed. As for the energy conduits, that is a little disappointing because I had some great ideas using channels for energy too, but at least we have channels for the item conduits :). Thanks for all the tips!
Good job on the video! Just what I was looking for! Ender I/O is among my favorite mods and I have used it for a long time, but mostly for the conduits, armor and some of the obelisks. I tend to use a combo of Mekanism, Tinkers' Construct and Ender I/O in the Resonant Rise pack. RR just upgraded to MC1.10 and sadly Mekanism not yet in the pack so I have been relying on Ender I/O as a substitute. Keep up the good work and I'll be sure to check out your other series, such as Immersive Engineering!
Well you definitely use my favorite parts of Ender IO! Its no secret I am a fan of the relocator obelisk :) Unfortunately, Ender IO can only do so much to sub in for mekanism, but I assume it will be added to the pack soon. Until then, hopefully my videos can help you at least semi make up for the loss of mekanism.
Your videos are definitely helpful! Would have been a long time before discovering the relocator obelisk if I did not come across your vids. My next project will be to set up one of those. Ender I/O does not compare to the ore processing of Mekanism, but al least there is a chance to receive more than just two dust per ore. Have you tried Big/Extreme Reactors? It is one of those simple mods that has a lot of depth. Big/Extreme Reactors has the potential for generating large amounts of energy early game since it only requires a diamond and some redstone to get started. If you are studying to be an engineer then you may enjoy this mod since it is very technical. Thanks for posting the series and keep up the good work! I am looking forward to the next video. I started on your Immersive Engineering series yesterday (got through nine episodes) and find it very informative as well. You are not only giving me good information, but also saving me a lot of time and effort in having to figure out these mods, set them up correctly and then decide if they are useful.
2:13 I WISH it was that easy to make the gears... been watching your vids on this series, now going back and doing it myself, and the recipe has drastically changed. You need like, Infinity Bimetal Gears instead, and you need Grains of Infinity to get those, having to dig to the Bedrock and light it on fire:P Kinda tricky now unfortunately.
I had a lot of fun with Therma Expansion and wanted to get into Ender IO since it seems awesome, but the change of recipes is just annoying. All of them are too tedious, so I understand what you meant. It's a turn off for me
Hey, do you think you could do a surviving with series with buildcraft or thermal expansion in the future? These series are far more helpful than any mod spotlight, keep up the great work! :D
Suggestion for the Surviving With series after this: Betweenlands. It will be a bit more involved than most mods on account of having to deal with the decay bar and other such things, but it would definitely be entertaining.
To be honest, I got quite bored with the Surviving With Botania and it seemed most viewers did too (based on likes/views/comments) and so rather than make unmotivated videos i decided to take a break from that series (possibly forever, not sure). As for Draconic Evolution, the mod was still being updated (and still is afaik) to 1.10 so not all the features are even available to cover. Sorry if this isn't the best news since you liked them, but i cant bring myself to half-ass content I am not enjoying :(
Sounds fair enough. I found it enjoyable but yeah, it is pretty slow. However Botania is getting updated to 1.11 and then you can do maybe Surviving with Botania & Quark, since it compliments each other and made by the same author, Vazkii?
Yea, I suspect it will be about 75/25 in favor of the Surviving With tutorial videos, which is why I will continue the HermitPack videos as regularly as before :)
i wish i had a computer capable of running all my favorite mods together: ender io, ae2(with extra cells 2), ic2(with advanced solar and more solar addon mods), thermal foundation/dynamics/expansion, useful foods, rotory/electri/reactorcraft, and journeymap
what kind of dino do you have??? i have one from 05 that only has 4 gb ram and a 3 ghz single core.......then again i also have my custom designed gaming rig to but we will leave that beast out of the equation at the moment lol
I don't use ender io when I play modded Minecraft I prefer the other pipes/sorting systems, I know enderio conduits are easy to compact things like sorting and power but I prefer to use
RagePlaysGames wels has stop playing, so now i mainly watch iskall .xisuma . ren and false which is basicaly all the hermits on the server, by the way, cub seems to be on the server when iskall records his ep 56

Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done if it simple compatibility issues. OptiFine has many conflicts with mods because of how it gets you more FPS.
Ahh.. I miss the old versions of EnderIO.. before this balancing BS where everything is gated to the basic machines, and you need 'Grains of Infinity' for almost everything.

Could tell I would like the video right off the bat with your attitude and style. A+
Good to see this in the spotlight.
Never had the need to mess with the storage part of EnderIO but Im looking forward to learning more about it, :)
Never got the chance to look at the storage myself, but I am super excited to dive into it head first with all of you!
I just found your channel yesterday i love your surviving with series! subbed and liked 👍
Welcome! Glad you are enjoying the videos :) and thanks for the sub and like.
Thank you for all the videos man !
Best tutorial Videos ever seen , please keep it up !
Glad the videos have been helpful! I'll do my best :)
Rage, I haven't been on the channel for a while. Glad to see you're still continuing the Surviving With series. (You probably don't remember me, but I found you when you were doing the surviving with ic2 series.)
KoaladileProductoz me too
KoaladileProductoz same here
KoaladileProductoz m2 bro

Rage man, I lost you when you changed your name. Messed up my search.
thanks for this, been wanting to dive into mods but not many people cover then in depth like this.
No problem! Always happy to help people learn MC mods! Best of luck.
6 years later still one of the best playthough
this is the first video ive watched of your channel and i love it

Finally I've waited for so long for this mod
Seems like a lot of people really wanted to see it since its in basically ever modpack :) hopefully I can do the mod justice!
Thank you so much for this surviving with Ender IO!
No problem! Always happy to help the modded community :)

The worst part of your videos is the end when I realize that I have to wait for another one to come out
Hey, there will always be more videos! I will be sure to keep them coming out as fast as I can :)
This video was excellent, thank you so much! Really helpful in getting started.

Interesting, I am always up for slightly more difficult mods :D ill give it a look!
Man ive been dying for this!
Glad to hear it! I know tons of people wanted to see this :) hopefully I can do the mod justice.
Ay! I've been waiting for this
Glad to hear it! Seems lots of people were looking forward to this mod and I absolutely love it.
What happened with the other surviving with series? I mean, i liked the botania and draconic evolution
To be honest, I got quite bored with the Surviving With Botania and it seemed most viewers did too (based on likes/views/comments) and so rather than make unmotivated videos i decided to take a break from that series (possibly forever, not sure). RagePlaysGames No problem. It happens I was just wondering. BTW, keep going with the great work.
Sounds fair enough. I found it enjoyable but yeah, it is pretty slow. However Botania is getting updated to 1.11 and then you can do maybe Surviving with Botania & Quark, since it compliments each other and made by the same author, Vazkii?
Nice video, rage :D
Thanks!
it's not only the secondary output that gets a bonus chance with grinding balls. look more closely at the tooltip for flint and dark steel balls.
Oh interesting! Guess they are even more useful than I thought :)
I like the "lets play" type more :) but a nice video
Yea, I suspect it will be about 75/25 in favor of the Surviving With tutorial videos, which is why I will continue the HermitPack videos as regularly as before :)
The worst part about when your videos end is waiting for another one.
Reading this absolutely made my day! Stuff like this always makes me want to upload as much as I possibly can :)
Aw thx man! I cant wait until you reach 10k subscribers! Maybe within a few months tops you will be there :)
if you put a space after @end, it'll show only items within mods that match that first string.
i wish i had a computer capable of running all my favorite mods together: ender io, ae2(with extra cells 2), ic2(with advanced solar and more solar addon mods), thermal foundation/dynamics/expansion, useful foods, rotory/electri/reactorcraft, and journeymap
what kind of dino do you have??? i have one from 05 that only has 4 gb ram and a 3 ghz single core.......then again i also have my custom designed gaming rig to but we will leave that beast out of the equation at the moment lol
oh thank god!
Ohhh cool! :D
That is exactly what I was going for ;)
Love u!!!!! #bestyoutuberever!!
Hey, thanks! Hopefully I was able to help you with your question about TC5 the other day.
If you mAke four sterling furnaces and give them all a different upgrade than wow what a power
the classic what is goin on guys
Of course, I may rebrand but the intro will forever be the same ;)
At the end od your surviving with series can you go to creative and explain the blocks/items from that mod that you didn't mention in the series?
That definitely would be a good idea! I plan on covering every little thing possible in the series from now on though :)
I miss 1.10.2 EnderIO
omg i love your videos
Thanks for the support
More!!!
Oh there will be more very soon! Super excited about both this series and the HermitPack.
How do you repair The ender sword once its durability has actually gone down?
It should be the dark steel anvil and the dark steel ingots :)
I don't use ender io when I play modded Minecraft I prefer the other pipes/sorting systems, I know enderio conduits are easy to compact things like sorting and power but I prefer to use
what days are you gonna upload?
I should upload Wednesday,Friday, and then sometimes over the weekend (probably Sunday) at 11:30 EST.
Thank you Rage
rage do you watch hermitpack from the hermits?
I mainly watch Xisuma and Wels, but occasionally I watch some of the other Hermits videos about the HermitPack.
RagePlaysGames wels has stop playing, so now i mainly watch iskall .xisuma . ren and false which is basicaly all the hermits on the server, by the way, cub seems to be on the server when iskall records his ep 56
HOLY IMA SUB!
Welcome! :) Hope you enjoy all the new videos
what's your favourite ender io block mine is the crafter
I love the relocator obelisk and I will show why eventually :) it is super OP, but the crafter is an awesome block too. Probably one of the most useful for automation in lategame.
skyfactory has this but i have no idea how to use it
*Capacitor Banks*
i play ender io in minecraft 1.7.10 and it has problems with optifine pls help
Unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done if it simple compatibility issues. OptiFine has many conflicts with mods because of how it gets you more FPS.
YES I FOUND IT
Ahh.. I miss the old versions of EnderIO.. before this balancing BS where everything is gated to the basic machines, and you need 'Grains of Infinity' for almost everything.
Old format was better
drragehard is that you!?
Indeed it is! Did some rebranding recently to make the channel a little more professional, but its still me :)
^_^
