Old dunks usually sit even if they are worth more once they sell. When they are just sitting that could be more money spent on another shoe that will move. That's why sneaker sellers that move alot of shoes like this tend to go for the newer stuff because that's what's selling. Even know older dunks are dope. I sat on an older pair for 3 years and they were going for 350 and it's still hasn't sold. Even brought it down to half price at one time for a little while. Still just sat. Still got them.

In general now, a lot of the new school don’t keep them. I must admit I had all my shoes in OG boxes but last year cracked and Bought display cases and only have my grails in OG boxes. Bought the cactus Jack dunks from a trusted seller with no box, checked them out and went to three stores to compare and they passed.

Not a die hard sneaker fan but do enjoy the negotiating, 90% of the time I got the correct price on what you were offering people when negotiating on this video it’s anywhere from 40-85 profit per sneaker you buy then sell. But who knows you probably make way more but in the moment that’s your goal your setting for yourself if had to guess .
It’s fascinating though when one thinks that all of these dudes had very recently spent a few hundreds of a pair of shoes. But then only a little while later are ok letting go of them for much less. They all could just as easily put the shoes for sale online themselves and not waste out on that margin every time… It just goes to show how powerful the concept of being able to give instant money for something is… With even the tiniest interest in the game, I think the business in itself is a pretty easy one to operate. Although, you might not have events like that every week and have to source your shoes elsewhere most of the time…

The eBay authenticator keeps track of how many auths they do. The seller doesn’t have to pay the Ebay authenticator because it’s free for the seller with booth. It’s already included in the fee for the booth slot setup. Everyone wins!

I was at this convention, only stayed for like 1 hour. Nothing caught my eye and the sneakers that did wasn't worth the price every stand was asking.
