Impressive maneuver! Is that a variable geometry wing or just for looks? If real, how did you manage to pull it off? Stock hinges always result in very floppy wings for me!
A good solution for the floppy wings on a robotic part like that is to enable part collision. Then if you put a guiding wing segment above and below then it’s held in place, preventing the bends during high G maneuvers while still allowing for hinge to move.
Very cool maneuver. But if you fail to get a Fox 2 off during that short snap shot, the chase plane could turn around and kill you when you are low on energy
@@alpacafluffy3555 Radar missile is fox 3 IR missile is fox 2. Likely in that situation you would want you use a short range IR missile rather than a long range radar missile.
I was controlling the Su, flew close to the F14 and clicked on one of its parts and chose AIM CAMERA. Now I was flying one while looking from the other. So I had to fly the lead jet and keep it in frame with the camera on the other key at the same time….. and pull off the maneuver, etc.
I did this too a f-14 in war Thunder but it was with the yak -141 so I just pulled into him with vtol. I clipped it on my channel. Also did it with an MiG

I’m flying the lead craft and have the camera focused on the chase craft, so I’m controlling the camera from one and flying the other. It still takes a bit of skill
you must build the center of lift slightly infront of the center of mass which will make it very unstable so you need a mod like atmosphere autopilot to help you keep it stable while you aren't trying to do a cobra

The f14 is variable wing. I have two hinges on each side and some discreet struts. It still has a little play at high G
But the craft that did the maneuver was Su-57, f14 was just chase craft
