  • Full length video of Barry Roubaix 62 mile race in 2015 from gopro camera. This was my FIRST bike race ever. Over the years I've improved and gained fitness. In 2016 I improved a lot finishing around 20th. You can see that video here: • Barry Roubaix 62 Mile ...
I wrote a detailed blog post that will help other athletes maximize their results. There are some good hints on how to prepare and race the event.

Hey Drew! This is Marc Johnson from the early days of ODZ. I was just looking for something to watch while I did a trainer workout when I stumbled on to this. Solid effort! It's a small virtual cycling world, I suppose. Please give Theia my regards.

The video quality with the telemetry overlay is very nice. Well done.

great job. it would be better to have the two - in my mind - unnecessary black circles on the right above the route drawing, so we have somethin on the right, on top and on the left to distract us from seeing the scenic route and for me that is why i watch these races from ohter countres. have seen all the ontario races by peter and they are better to watch.

Ya - I had a potty break in there at 2:05:00. Sometimes you just have to go... This year should be a little more exciting. I'll try to hang with the big boys this time. We will see...

Crazy video! Pardon my ignorance but what do you need to get all that data on the screen (watts, speed, map etc.)? That is awesome!!

+Jon Suyko Nevermind. Just saw the post below. That's a lot of work! Thanks for doing it.

+Jon Suyko I use virb edit to assemble the videos, and then overlay and sync the garmin data. It's an involved and lengthy process for long and large videos. It can take upwards of 2 days of computing / processing time to do all of it. But putting the garmin data on a small video is simple with dataware or virb edit. It's out of the box functionality that takes a few minutes.

+Jon Suyko the 2016 race is next weekend. I'll be taking front and rear videos this time. Should be pretty cool.

Please explain how this cyclist is producing Watts?
Dana Rouleau infact can anyone explain it

Power is measured on the Garmin. I then use Garmin Virb Edit to overlay the garmin data on top of the video. Pretty simple. Google "garmin virb edit software"

That is wayyy too many watts to be putting out with that much clothing on - I'd overheat and die lol
