    it's a good idea to give your mice a mite treatment every 2-3 months or so as a precaution against parasites being carried in on bedding etc. Because it needs time to work it is good to do it just before you put them back in a freshly cleaned and reorganised cage as they will be busy exploring and won't groom the treatment off immediately, giving it more time to work.
    As you can see, Jensen had a bit of a fail!

      Nooby Cuber it contains a vitamin supplement and alcohol free vanilla extract to help reduce urine odour.

    hi, mind if I ask what mite treatment you used? my boy Tigger(hes so sweet & friendly, I feel aweful) has mites and hes losing his hair :( vet s here dont take rodents

      +boscoitalics I use beaphar spot on mite treatment for gerbils, hamsters & mice. I have never heard of a vet refusing to give treatment to any animal before though. They may not specialise in a certain species and prefer not to treat them, but it is against the law to refuse veterinary treatment to an animal who is suffering.
      If they don't specialise they should still offer emergency treatment, and offer a referral to another vet with more experience.
