I bought a veepeak a week ago and did a bunch of coding this weekend, with the help of your few videos on it. Ambient lighting, enabling features in idrive/gauge cluster, soft close trunk (freaking GAME CHANGER this one), Rolls Royce startup animation and "gong" sound (we'll be accustomed to it for when we actually drive RR like Rick Ross), etc... LOVE IT MAN! Thanks for putting together these videos. I have done my rear air bags, spark plugs, and now this coding stuffs, thanks to you! You are a gentleman and a scholar mr eddie!

I have a trouble with my x5 f15, since i bought it I have a keys mssing on the board when my motor turns and a passanger goes down close the door then the system said keys missing. Does any one has this issue? and how to resolve it? I try with bmw maintenance but they are so bad... the problem still there? thank you for your helps.
Hello! I have 2014 F15 M impoetd from US without Ambient lights. I'm in process of getting one (OEM) is it possible to add in the car software as it doesn't show neither in I-Drive.

Hi Eddie. I got x5m just yesterday. I can't figure out how to turn the fog lights on. The green light on the dash comes on but the small round lights underneath the main lights dont come on at all. Any ideas?

You want default driving mode to be sport? I don’t think that’s possible.

If the hardware is there, you can code it in. If you don’t have the camera to read it in your vehicle then there wouldn’t be a way to add it.

Hey brother! I have the same car. So I just need the module in the link, and I’ll be able to code through the app? I’m new to Bimmercode. I’m also looking into keeping the flaps open, do I need a different module, or just a different app (Bimmerlink) will do the job?
That’s correct. The module and the app. BimmerLink will allow you to code the flaps open at all times.
Can someone please tell me how to turn off the cornering lights. When I turn my wheel either left or right that specific fog light will turn on and I’m trying to figure out where to turn that off on BimmerCode.
Body Domain Control Module- Scroll down to lighting and then you should see Cornering light deactivation.

I noticed you did this with the engine off. For some reason, my Bimmercode would not detect the ENET cable unless I had the car actually running.I have a '16 F85. I tried several different ways too. In my E70 I did code with the engine off. Anyway, all I coded worked but when the app would restart the ECU the car would shut off which was unsettling at first. Odd.
I know the feeling. I’ve done both. When the engine turns off it’s not a good feeling.
Sometimes my app will automatically turn the ignition on but not start the engine.
can it program to auto start the car outside like most newer cars ??
Back again. Do you know how to add custom colors/values for every layer ? RBG to Hex? Another guy did a bunch of custom coding for coloring but the LCIMaster with his bimmer code shows up different. He has 9 layers as we only have 8.

I’m not for sure on that. I have ID5 too as my X5 is older than yours.

If it doesn’t work over their air, your next alternative is to try update directly via USB.
Hello sir edwards. Nice coding video. May i suggest you try to get the BMW CONNECT also to your cell and register your vehicle vin. some helpful features there to like...Your actual vehicle status, vehicle maintenace, locate vehicle, ventilation etc. its a good features.
Yes, I have it active but the live traffic leaves a little to be desired. I’m considering the ID6 upgrade with Apple car play so I can run Waze.
Make sure that you always have a wifi when using iD6. Waze will not work without wifi. I'm planning to up to iD7 it got more option to upgrade BMW latest features.
@@eddiemcars I have a F86 X6 M W ID4 and upgraded to the Android unit w CarPlay/ Android Auto.. Waaaaay cheaper than than ID6 RetroFit and waaay better than ID6. You don’t lose anything at all. You’ll like it , trust me. More info at BImmerpost F16/F86 forum.

It shouldn't affect the warranty since you’re only enabling or changing features that your X5 already came with.

I think you’ll need Esys for coding camera on! I’m not for sure though!

what module do I go to to shut off that the temperature does not turn on when I start the car? Is this possible?
I believe it might be under body domain controller or front rear module.
If not, try the air conditioning module.
Can you do a video on how to completely disable start/stop function please.
Once you turn it off, it should remain off. I don’t believe coding is needed.
In Bimmercode there's a set memory option for stop start, the car will remember the last setting, instead of having to manually turn it off every time.
Once you press the button to shut it off, it will always stay off. I've had mine like that for 5 years now on my 2015 X5M.

I would code it using a previous BACKUP file and see if that can fix your issue.

You can code multiple things in one module, but only one module at the time.

I noticed the choice doesn’t exist and you can only change it on the first level in normal mode. Not expert mode.

Is there a code to control the excessive oil it burns? Otherwise, I believe there is now a huge class action suite.
If you feel oil consumption is high then you should have it checked by your BMW dealer. What type of oil and how often are you changing it?
@@eddiemcars Like I said there is a Huge Class Action Suit Indeed. Now, it is BMW's problem. I have traded in my 2014 X5 F15.... for the 2022 X5 45e PHEV. The dealer gave me an extra 14k over KBB to sorta hush the situation.

I tried on a 2014 and I noticed I couldn’t work the same features. However, with the app updated, it allowed me to change it without going to expert mode but it only changed the orange setting.

There should be an option with the latest update to code without expert mode.

No you don’t. One you pay for the standard BimmerCode, you have the option to go into expert mode. It’s not advisable to venture into expert mode unless you know exactly what you’re changing.

That would be hard to do unless you have the right cables and I doubt it would work.

I can try. I haven't coded a 2021 G05 yet.
Keep in mind some features might be available at a later time or in expert mode.

That’s a popular question! From my understanding, that’s not possible.
But the new instrument cluster, digital one and leave it on eco mode and it stays white & blue.. have it fitted & coded
Can you have the car running while coding so battery won’t die?
You can I’m not sure if it’s recommended. I’ve done it before. When the ECU restarts the engine turns off. Definitely don’t code while you’re driving.

I don't know what to do, I have a bmw x5 (f15) from 2015 and it has very bad fuel consumption ... between 18mpg and 22mpg (driven in the city) But when I type on google the combined fuel consumption looks totally different (between 41.5mpg and 47mpg) which which is not good at all (the car doesn't seem to have problems and I don't understand why it consumes so much....
