Brian Tracy .....Thanku Sir.....in my life may be because of fear I m not able to focus on my Frogs.....I m feeling scattered.....want to focus n become successful....need ur kind help......Regards......
Brian Tracy I have been thinking on this. What is it that holds me back? When i do everything that i am supposed to..to succeed. I never understand this that whenever i try doing the right things, it is something deep down me which resists me from doing it. I know within that i must be doing the tasks.. and in normal odd days i am doing those things but when i see some glory/accolades/success/fame approaching me i somehow tend to resist my ownself from doing the right things. SOMETHING IN ME RESISTS ME FROM DOING THE RIGHT THINGS, THE MOMENT I SEE THAT DOING THESE THINGS/TASKS WOULD MAKE MY LIFE BETTER.(Mostly so..when i am about to achieve something worthwhile)
Watching this video i can exactly relate to what you're talking about. 'Fear of Success', when you know you deserve it and about to get it. But you yourself resist it.
Thank you so very much Brian Tracy.
Lots of love and thanks
Gaurav Gandhi

{I can write soo much to thank you truly}
I hope i have tried making you understand what i wanted to say
You have been my virtual mentor since high school. I'll be a millionaire next year. I'll love to buy you lunch sometime next year. You're the best!
Brian Tracy fear of rejection
Fear of being praised and appreciated. I fear being in the limelight.
I wouldn’t mind that per se, but my fear would be that the praise and appreciation comes with an ulterior motive.
Me too but why?
Same here
same smh
Any suggestions or solution ?
I've had a suspicion i fearing success but I thought, "How can anyone fear being successful?". But this makes sense now. I fear more responsibility and that I wont be able to keep up with having more work. I dont want to disappoint my clients and becoming a team leader terrifies me.
The fear of having more on my plate then I already have.
My #1 fear is that my best won't be good enough. That I will try my hardest and still fail, thus wasting my time and effort with nothing to show for it.
You're just as good as anyone else. The only reason they succeeded is because THEY TRIED. Take a step forward, James, and give it a try. Good luck!
Seriously James, this is the most common fear most people have. You are in good company! What do we mean by 'fail' anyway?! Redefine things, let's say success is ... doing your best. :).
Hi James. Thanks for sharing with us all. You've said that your fear is that you'll 'fail' and that you'll have wasted your time and effort. You're not alone! But, what is the alternative? What will happen if you don't try? For some people turning it on its head can provide some motivation. If you want to explore this a little more via email, send me a message and tell me more about this. All the best.
You hit the nail on the head. It's how I feel daily about things.
same here exactly
more pressure…added responsibility…stress…less time with husband and vacations
Aren't those "symptoms" just in the beginning? I mean, as you become successful you are able to hire a team to delegate some tasks. Then you'll be free to enjoy the important ones, like spend quality time with your family.
Fear of standing out and being targeted by haters
The biggest fear that holds me back atm is fear of responsibility and being overwhelmed with all the opportunities that may come my way once I am seen by the world.
What I have seen so far is, when you MUST do it, you brain and biology opens all the restrictions and you start to have super powers to manage to make them all. Of course you need to take brakes but trust that bigger intelligence, the power of nature is within you.
The fear of getting beat down by envious dregs.
For me its the fear of more responsibility. I highly value my independence.
Im afraid of not good enough, not prepare enough, not smart than other people... What cause me most afraid is I don't have a good family background to support me. They always judge me
im so happy to see that im not alone but sad to see that we feel this way.
You're just like that wise grandpa that I never had. Thanks, Brian Tracy, for all that you do!!!💜***Asteri***
The fear of "more" responsibilities, more people, afraid of doing well and being appreciated. Something I've never experienced in my life.
The fear that holds me back most is, my laziness and the thing that I'm used to feel bad about myself and feel depressed
The fear of losing myself, being someone that i don't want to be.I have suffered a lot in my life there's like something grabbing my body and holding me back but i'm determined to live my dreams thanks for the advices
The fear of being alone holds me back the most..
Fear of being rejected by family.
My fears are many but the one that paralyzses me is the fear of working hard and never being enough or never reaching my goal, probably i should re asses my goal and actually measure if my hard work is paying off at all,but i feel like that would hit me with an unwanted reality but i need to do it.
Thanks brian
I have a fear of failure, I hate losing more than I like to win. So in the past I would be willing to throw away 5 opportunities just to avoid a loss. Thank you Brian. You have changed my life over the last couple of years. Had to mark a few in the loss column, but the experience has helped the wins to become much more frequent and easier to come by.
This was amazing. Im 19 and was excited for highschool to end and get into real estate. Now that i'm a month in I've hit this wall really hard. I've experienced all those fears you've listed and have been binge watching shows/sports to have a little escape from work(I used to never watch tv). Now that I finally have the opportunity to be successful I've been slacking off. Thank you Brian. I've been at a loss for what's been happening to me, but now that I realized what I need to avoid I know I'll be able to start making the moves I used to picture so vividly.
Isn't it just fear of hard work with responsibility (a novelty in a fresh graduate's life, right?;) and undeveloped diligence of a new quality? Dont be THIS hard on yourself because actually that there is one of the shortest path to the wall;) Discover, experience and learn this new dimension of hard-work that we call a job. Keep it cool, keep it Tracy;)
Sir, you have found the reasons quite perfectly 🙌🙌 The first reason you stated, is my case. I feel frightened of success. Like how difficult my life would get when I get there
Fear of What They will Say,but Thank God I met you.
I fear ending the struggle. I enjoy the process of getting better and always setting a new goal that I fear losing that mindset. But, that mindset will always be there, so I have nothing to fear.
Thank you for this.
what holds me back the most its that i loose interest when i don't see results when i know that i should stay patient.
I’m terrified of success, because failure is all I’ve ever known, and success seems so scary and unfamiliar. It feels like I’d be walking on eggshells every minute, waiting for something bad to happen. The fear of ending struggle also resonates a lot with me. If it’s a constant struggle, again I’m used to it. But a roller coaster type life? Spooky.
Mommy guilt. I feel sometimes that by dedicating myself to my passion it somehow translates to me feeling like my girls aren’t enough for me.
I learn that the fear that hold me the most is to start.
I wish I knew exactly what was holding me back, I have a old voice in my head that says I can't make money or be successful.
Hey Shelly, one of the most powerful ways to defeat our fears is to silence the mind. This voice is what we call the ego, the voice of knowledge, or the liar in our head. You can do this simply by listening to music that doesn't have words you can understand, like classical - which distracts the ego. Then you can hear yourself think!! The less you listen to that voice the more you will be able to follow your heart.
Mostly I would say, fear to fail ... strangely ! I say "strangely" because I know that both sides work together, we can't always succeed at firt. I'have not been trained to work hard to get good results in my Life, since I'm a little girl, during my first years at school, everything was easy for me, easy to learn, easy to understand, since my friends were working hard to get almost the same results as I did without even trying half of their efforts .... today I realize that "Learning to work and react after a fail" is one of the best lesson we could give to our child. It's hard to learn when we're older. Thanks Brian.
Fear has me stuck in the last corner of my box, I’m tired but I’m doing my best to kill my poor mindset. Thanks for sharing this video.
This is going on my wall very true and powerful .... "Successful athletes have learned to anticipate hitting the wall and prepare mentally and physically to break through it" Thank you Mr Tracy so glad to have found this channel.
தங்கள் உதவ தயாராக இருப்பதாக கூறி இருப்பது நன்று.
I believe our definition of success has changed. We now equate success with less and less of the quality things in life that matter most - health, family, freedom to follow a passion. I understand now that success now means more slogging at work, unnecessary stress, unachievable targets and lack of empathy. And we have become afraid of this self imposed definition of social success. Thank you for providing a new insight, sir.
Thank you so much for this. I face rejection since childhood for shining brightly and so I learned to sum my light to be accepted and be approved of by those I loved. I sabotaged myself at key moments when I was at the precipice of success. But NO MORE!!!
Hi Brian, thank you for this video!
My biggest fear is that I will fail.
I am able to talk to the client and gain their trust, then when I go back to the office, I freak out. I know that I can do it but this fear seems to be deep down, so I tell myself I will stuff it up. This leads me to failing.
I find Tim Ferris's Fear Setting to be a good way to deal with this, as well as having people that can help me to be accountable. Also owning failures helps. I use this to shape my thinking in the future. I am by no means perfect, but I keep trying, and keep trying to learn from my mistakes.
Spending time with a genius is the most easy way of becoming a genius.
The fear of success has been exposed
Thanks Brian
Fear of failure and success!!
Thanks Brain Tracy for Video .
Fear of rejection hold me back and self doubts during process towerds the success.
I fear change and a loss of control.
YOU GIVE ME SELF CONFIDENCE TO SUCCESS...
I'm more or less terrified of not being physically capable of handling acting roles in plays and musicals. Thus, being a burden to others, thus, terrified of putting in so much effort into character analysis, song prep, exercise and nerves to be wasted on the IDEA that it may be too hard on me if I do succeed. It ruins the prospect of getting that lead role, and having fun(and working terribly hard) It pummels any faith I had in myself, because with fear of success you are not confident. I intend to try my best, but right now I want nothing more than to quit, be content with not pursuing my dream for right now. But another part of me is hopeful, excited and determined.. yet, that fear will always linger.
And that's what makes it worse. It'll always be there.
I get poetic when in distress haha
thanks for strengthening and encouragement !
He is so calm, thanks Brian for the video
Thank you Brian for all your great videos. I enjoy them all the time.
Thank you🦋
Thank u sir.
The fear that hold me back the most is...i wonder if I can really handle the opportunity I have created for my self..but as well as the team who follows me to success
Brian Tracy Rules!
Whatever you dream of, begin it... Priceless Brian, thank you!
Thank You
Thank you
You got my attention..Thank you for being kind sharing your wisdom.Keep up good works.Godbless you and your family.love from philippines.
Thanks for this! I fear expectations the most. When I become successful, there’ll be more responsibilities and I have to embrace that.
Fear of the responsibility and leaving my family to study and work in another place
thanks brian tracy
So calm and cool...
Brian you are a real legend. Thank you for all your life lessons
My fear of success is because of the change I know it will bring. It means leaving my comfort zone. As much as I desire change and success it still makes me anxious and scared. I seem to be my own worst enemy.😫
Thanks
I have worked to the top in several professions then once I get there I get bored of it and leave to start something new, I fear that if I become successful at something I love doing I’ll get bored or tired of it and then stop doing things I love to do. I’m afraid of also becoming successful and now having no time to do anything else while feeling stuck due to all of the responsibilities and stress of the success. Good video, thank you.
Fear of un-simplifying life was my block. THX, this was an excellent piece. Grace to you.
Thank you so much for such wonderful words 💜
From your video I see that what fear is dealing with the challenge and difficulties it takes to go the distance to succeed. But that is part of the journey.
Thank you
Kirk
Very motivational ... The fears we live are usually inherited from parents and past experiences of failure. Thus success is not part of personal DNA. It takes a lot of courage & daily commitment to "let go of the past". Thank you for this encouraging video.
Can relate to this and the comments. You are awesome Sir
I think the main thing is if you don't push it or put much effort in and fail it is easier to say that is fine since you didn't work to hard. It is a lot harder to give it your all, fail, and be ok afterwards. Our brains prepare us to fail rather than prepare for the win
this was powerful!!!
So much helpful video. Thank you so much for sharing. Great job.well done.
This is a great video. A set of fears might be lying under the fear of success. I guess the thought of different responsibilities that come with sucess is holding me back the most.
Thanks for the assuring tone in the topic. I have been carrying the below fear. Hope to be able to overcome or simple trick them away.
Fear of falling, Fear of losing the close ones, Fear of not continuing to succeed after one, Fear of change in Priorities during the course.
Brain Tracy , thank you for your motivation everyday. You are my hero. My fear is to take action on a business I want to start, how do I take action if it seems like such a large hurdle to overcome?
Hello dear Brian Tracy, Riley I like your videos all are helpful for me and my friends. It gives me a light for my professionalism and day to day activities. thank you I wish a long life with prosperous health thank you.
well-summed points
I think,"Fear of change" is holding me back...
Great video!!!! For me fear of failure is always with me haunting me when I take up a new initiative.
This is a great video! I watched at the right time. Finally started reading your book "Eat That Frog." Thanks for all the amazing things you do!
The fear that holds me back the most is losing friends due to past small achievements i had experienced some backlash to it.which has left me fearful.
Mr Brian Tracy THANK YOU for your motivational book and videos. My close buddies and I have got together and we are motivating each other. Our fear of success has vanished once we shared our goals and tiny achievements with each other. You are truly an inspiration to so many people around the world. God bless you, your family and those whom you have inspired.
The fear of judgement, the fear of making my life more complicated and the fear of getting more attention that i'd want.
Im an introverted person and not usually the first to speak up in conversation, unless someone talks to me first and starts a conversation with me.
My confidence level isn't really all that high because i end being criticized and questioned by people.
I usually take critisizm and accept, but sometimes it ends up tearing me up on the inside, but i know what i want to do in life which is be in the ecommerce space.
I was just about to make a video on this, great stuff.
Success barriers are real, and people need to learn how to deal with them.
Successful Minds I understand cash rules everything around me c.r.e.a.m, but why is it that self help, motivational self developers and coaches feel the need or have the tendency to focus strickly or primarily on finances? What about health, and relationships, etc..?
Successful Minds If we succeed to overcome and master these exact barriers our game will improve and grow and so will we.
Thanks, it's great video! When I got so close to set up my business I got fear to start it and stopped progress.
Nice work!
As a village brought up I 've been taught to be humble to people. But as I moved to a city I was given a better responsibility at my workplace, but people started taking me for granted and I could get no work out of them being humble. I was blamed to be not fit to handle things as I wasn't commanding and bossy. I personally like to be lead by someone with a composed mind and I tend to oblige them. But with many people out here only "Commands" work, which isn't the way I want to treat others. I fear , if one really HAS TO BE rude to be successful in handling a higher responsibility.
The fear of not following through gets me from time to time.
fear of disrespect holds me back
Physical Limitations are my biggest fear... But you never fail to motivate me to push through.
I read many of your books years ago when in business and you still can break things down into easy to understand components.
Now I'm older and would like to be a moderately successful photographer and your words are showing me what the real problems are.
That my family will get jealous and take it away from me.
Fear of being in the limelight. Self doubt that I will be able to handle that limelight and all the additional responsibilities that adds to continue to be great. Fear of being too good/almost perfect!
Thanks Brian for this beautiful Video. It is very inspiring. I will have a life-changing Interview next week and i am a bit afraid of taking up the challenging position if it is offered to me. However, since i strongly believe in the exciting opportunities and new skills i will be learning along the way, i refuse to be afraid and chose insread to move to the next level.
God bless you and your family and friends forever in Jesus name
Holding back us to fear of failing..But thnku so much sir i extremely control tht of fear which never happen to attack the negative thought..
Thank you so much, your calm and smile make me feel safe and stronger. My fear is to change and to have more on my plate to lose. How can I overcome it? Thanks
It tickles me to hear Brian Tracy say "binge watch"😀lol
I fear that once i have achieved my goals , there would be nothing left for me to do in this life and my success would change everything around me and these changes would be too much to take.
My fears, are all those you described. Thank you for creating this video to help us achieve success 👍
Thank you for watching, Michael!
Ausum lecture❤️
You have always been a great inspiration for me and I have tries to follow your advice for many years.
Could you please do a personal message for my colleagues Jo and Barney who would benefit greatly from your advice. That would be be absolutely great.
Thank you very much
Basil
Thank you Sir Brian Tracy for your dedicated positive reinforcement videos.
My Fears:
1) Master Procastinator (snooze one too many)
2) Fear of falling so far behind...
3) Fear of judgemental comments
4) Never punctual
P.s although I clearly know these are at the forefront of my to-do list my procastination wins everytime. How does one go about changing these horrible habits.
Rise and fall...direct selling hvac/filter company I was naive in thinking just selling alone would resolve everything.
Didn't sit down with my business partner Weekly to discuss business and I missed the #1 rule of business according to Tim mcgahee and Brian Tracy. "Pay yourself first".
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I feel I have many sincere talents which reside in helping people and 'enthousiasmos'.
I want to start with myself first pick myself.up dust myself off and move on to the next chapter in my life. It starts within.
I feel as though the only thing missing is a master teacher/mentor in my life.
Mr Tracy, you always have been an inspiration, your books have help me a lot.
But this video, is incredible, because, today, I have to prepare many presentations for many meetings, and I'm very afraid, I'm procrastinating, I was watching my favorite TV show, 3 episodes, and nothing on work. And suddenly, I see this video, and is exactly what I'mfacing, thank you so much for the help.
An answering your question, I'm always afraid of the Boss, or the bosses, telling me, or yelling at me, that I did something wrong, or I didnt' do it, the confrontation is my biggest fear
