I might consider it if it cost $13,000 LESS than what it does. Otherwise I only watch this stuff for entertainment because motorcycles crossing over into automobile prices are irrelevant to me.
I agree completely 🤷♂️🤷♂️ as I get older I just enjoy the quiet time…no need to rip your head off on a ride and I ride usually 2 X 4-6000 km trips per year.
You can’t deny it’s an excellent bike, but Ducati has gone over the top at $27 to $30k US. They’re gonna find themselves in the same situation as Harley Davidson.
really any of the top bikes in the class are similar bmw is same without bags. triumph is slightly cheaper but meh. ktm is cheaper but i wouldn’t touch one
My issue with the Multistrada is that it's a bike that can fit 3 roles, but at the cost of having 3 bikes. If it was cheaper, then it would make a bit more sense. 3 for the cost of 2. When you can get a SS, Adventure bike and naked for the same cost. It makes the bike a hard sell for me. I have looked but ended up going with an RSV4 and V100 for less.
170 is less then i expected. The 1290gt has had more since it was introduced almost 10 years ago running 17s. Regular 1290 adventures are less than 10% below with offroad rim sizes.
If you think this bike is expensive, unfortunately you’re NOT the Multistrada’s target audience. I can’t afford this bike too but I appreciate that it’s out for people to enjoy. And I’m 100% certain there’re many other bikes out there that’s cheaper and can perform as well if not better than the Multistrada.
@@myousic4564 Wow that's a lot of miles. I don't like owning a complex motorcycle that has to go to the dealer ship every year for service hours to get done @ $195 an hour. Example my BMW.
My local dealer always has Ducatis left over from like 2-3 years ago. Seems very hard to shift a bike with sketchy reliability and almost zero coverage in North America.
Who are we kidding here? This is for the top 1% of motorcycle owners who not only have the means to afford this bike but also don’t care about taking it off road and dropping it. The repair costs of this bike will be through the roof. Bigger isn’t always better. But it sure gets the views.
It amazes me that factories feel they are going to shift these bikes at the outer worldly prices they are commanding. I appreciate that some people can afford them, but the vast majority would struggle (or not have a hope) to come up with over 30K € for what is essentially a toy. Unnecessary tech. will be the death of these bikes, and possibly their manufacturers.
Who cares? *yawn* Plus it's Italian. Why would I choose Italian reliability and parts price over Japanese? These are the kinda bikes that motorcycle magazine guys ride for free for a while and then create promotional stories about. Not the kind of bike real riders with any kind of budget or sense will buy. This bike is the 6000 SUX of Robocop fame.

As an older boy it’s finally dawned on me all the power is pure waist. You will Rarely touch top of the tree.. nice all the same.
waste*

I think I know where you’re coming from, but I don’t think Duke are short of customers right now
That’s like Kawasaki H2 pricing

Do you like the v100?
I've got a 2022 V4 S Sport. Yes, it's expensive, but it's simply the best all around motorcycle out currently. You get what you pay for.

Great vid! Check out this motorized plate hider which is also a fender eliminator all in 1 😉

Watching the used market for a lightly used 2024 V4 Rally. Still likely at least 25K US.
Ay caramba 170hp from a glorified dirt bike is race bike power territory!
wait for results on new ktm 399cc duke or enduro r 2024- ... interresting diferent with older one 373cc
Looks like quite the motorcycle. First of all what is the list price and what are the service intervals?
If you have to ask...
30k usd..more difficult to service than my 2006 bandit old school bike
60000km for the valve regulation so you can really don't care about servicing it.

This was just such a hit for Ducati, Multistrada is really multipurpose.
But I would go for V2.

Can it haul 23lbs of camping gear to Montana?
Of cos it can! 170hp is a lot of power for a touring bike!
@@fidelcatsro6948 I was worried it wasn't complex and powerful enough. I don't want to break it.

ItaLi Send$$$$ Cash, ...maybe i`~😅Consider it, bye
Bit like a Fezza 😂
