Woodturning - Gumnut & Resin Pink Box
Sorry for the long wait guys.
This week is a project for a friend who specifically asked for a bright pink box but unfortunately it would appear some of the tannins from the gum nuts leached into the resin making it more of a salmon pink instead. I will do it again later but I will varnish the gumnuts before putting them into the resin.
We live and learn!

The gumnuts give it a great effect & the colour is still really pretty. Ethan did a great job too. Your friend who asked for it sounds like a pain though! 😄
