Nirvana co-founder Krist Novoselic launches new political party with live music twist

- 30 years after Nirvana ended Nirvana's bassist and co-founder Krist Novoselic is doing something new: launching a new political party.
Novoselic said Nirvana's history of trying something new mirrors the goals of his new Cascade Party of Washington.
"It's not just a run-of-the-mill party," Novoselic said. "We're trying to do something different we're trying to be seminal, we're trying to break ground I'm also looking for something like that."
Novoselic said he's the party chair and part of the requirements to have a party is to host conventions and run a presidential ticket. To draw people to those conventions, he tapped his resources and started a new band called "The Bona Fide Band."

As has been successful across the pond, the "housing first" approach is both more effective and compassionate
i enjoy the idea of the cascade party. from my experience, things have to get absolutely absurd before change happens. I think things that would help the cascade party is to distance itself from the green party, libertarian party. You can do this by having common sense moderate stances, but some things need to be republican and some democrat. I would suggest putting guns and taxes in the republican side, while putting abortion and anti-religion theocracy in democrat side. We need someone who can recite the constitution, and school people. i stop arguments and win them faster than most because I immediately bring up the constitution and i don't paraphrase. I quote it. I administer that the founding fathers were liberals, true liberals. I distance myself from libtard stuff where it gets lost in blue hair and abortions, and i win republicans over by attacking both sides with concise precision. Democrats are easily won when you expose their money standards and taxing standards. lobbying is honestly mostly to blame on democrats. ignorance on republicans. Being intelligent is as isolating as itll ever be, you wont win people by being nice. you have to produce dems and republicans as enemies, because they are. and highlight the absurdity of this roundabout system we have now. You have to have compassion but be realistic against technical stances like homelessness.. because I work on the ground, with boots.. and most of those homeless people i dont feel bad for. they choose and some like it. I would suggest taking a huge stance on homeowning. passing laws to prevent corporations from buying, foreign entities from buying and introduce maybe a luxury zoning for property to adhere to to produce these rent prices that keep going up. create it like its a game. create it like our fathers did, with fairness.. but stern as fuck and absolutely belittling of ignorance and stupidity. make people scared to be dumb again.
