My comment before watching the video was that I much prefer the Facelift steering wheel (without led rev counter)...but OMG that looks good.
I've seen someone else do an alcantara cover and it looked dreadful, yours is a big step up 👍

Very nicely done!!! I own a 2013 C300 and will definitely install this cover. I totally agree with what you said, I’m very happy with my steering wheel and don’t see the need to spend all that money on a new one.👍
A lot of people want the 2018+ steering wheel but again, if you have the money...do it...but I’m good. 😎🤙🏼

One of the remaining pieces of the car that I need to get done. I currently have the Armytrix catless downpipe as well as a Stage 2 tune and an intake upgrade. I am getting my front resonator removed this week. If anyones interested Ill reply or edit this comment to let you guys know what I think! Great video once again Flexx! Love it!

You’re right about the expense for a new steering wheel. I just bought one (minus the LED’s & Carbon) from CKM for my E350. Cost about $1,500. Looks good though.
That’s cool. No way I’m paying more then $500 for a steering wheel. I rather put that extra money in an exterior mod that will actually get noticed (like wheels, aero parts, suspension) or performance mods. However, I would be more than glad to upgrade to an expensive steering wheel if I received a sponsorship..lol

2013 is w204... red battery light very likely alternator not charging.. with vehicle running. checked your battery voltage.. it should be more than 13 volts.. if voltage stay the same when you started engine.. then your alternator is not charging.
Hey Flexx, can you show us how to repair a steering wheel that is bubbling or peeling. My 2018 Mercedes GLC300 has this issue just under the the buttons on the right side. I saw someone Plasti Dip theirs but I only trust you. Please help!

hey flexx, is it safe to remove the airbag if the car has an auxiliary battery installed?
I disconnect the battery and I take out the fuse for the airbag.
Hi, is the steering wheel managed by the main battery? I have a 2016 GLE 450 amg, and I think there are 2 batteries.

I don’t think I’ll be installing that. It’s a cool product but the install is pretty involved. I don’t even think I have the skill to do that. Lol

Would it be okay to fit without taking the airbag off?
Going to be hard to tuck the cover under the trim without loosening the trim after removing the air bag.
It takes less then 4 minutes to disconnect the battery and unplug the airbag
@@TheRhinoGoss I get that it doesn’t take long to disconnect it’s more the scare for me to do it as i get overly cautious about electrical things
Does this work with the Heated Steering Wheel? Do you think it would cause issues?
Hmmm. Probably does work but the heated steering wheel feature might not work in an optimal way since it’s design to operate with a bare steering wheel and without a cover over it.
I've been told it's no longer available. They did a site redesign (terrible) and had my account deleted. So you'll need to re-register if you've ordered from them prior. Searching for a new cover but so far I've found low quality.

I got to the point where I just replace the entire steering wheel or use a cover that goes over the stock steering wheel. Cover makes it thicker but I feel like I can grip the wheel better. 🤷🏻♂️
how did you make the white line line up? when I did it I had a part left on one side. Help!
I just lined it up with the center of the wheel and then stretched the rest over the bottom of the wheel to make sure the rest lined up with the flat bottom of the wheel.
If it won’t line up on the top or bottom, then you probably have a defective cover.

@@TheFlexxGarage i just mounted my 10.1 android tablet with magnets to the original screen and connected via Bluetooth and hid the charging cable behind the center console..

Nice mod. I’m not sure if this would help, but you should be able to get just the sequential led lights that match the rpm separately for around £50 or so. They look pretty good in my opinion.
Yeah but the install is a pain in the ass. And if you hiring someone to do it, it’s gonna cost a lot of money anyway.
