we knew he was special when he was dominating professional top level adult karting scene as a kid. we knew he was special when he performed wonder driving for backmarker team in F3. we knew he was special when he won his first race ever jumping in the new car for the first time. He only confirmed all that again later in Brazil, and multiple times since after.
@@Stantube1000that's also why he's so good is because he did not begin his racing career with a dominant car. That taught him early on to not just rely with the car but also rely on his talent as a driver and trust in himself.
@@heartsallover I think he's so good because of truly unique mix of genes, particular character traits, natural talent, work ethic and complete dedication to the sport. which his dad taught him. Also, racing is his true and the only passion in life, he gets zero distractions, contrary to a lot of his rivals. Vast majority of drivers do not start their careers in the best let alone dominant cars, irrespective of their talent and CV prior to F1 to be fair. The only exceptions I know are Damon Hill, Jaques Villeneuve and Lewis Hamilton. All others, including such legends as Senna and Schumacher had to prove themselves first and learn the basic in backmarkers or midfield cars before receiving an offer to drive for a top team. Max is no different in that regard, and yes, I agree with you, that helps a driver to learn a lot of stuff, that cannot be learn as quickly in the fastest car.
He's writing his own chapter in the history books. Incredible. People will read/talk about this even long after we're gone. But we were privileged to witness it unfold ❤
Apart from Max's first win, which was a big story in F1 at the time, I also first remember him from the 2016 Brazilian race in the wet. I was absolutely gob-smacked watching him pass world-class drivers like they were amateurs. Phenomenal then and phenomenal now. Thanks RBR for this feature.
hearing about a 17yo win at his debut made me come back to F1 watching that 2016 Interlagos race made me a Max Verstappen fan. in June 2024 i`ll see him racing live in Spielberg for the first time and i can't wait :)
People who think what Max is doing is easy they don’t understand this sport. His expierence, race craft, conditioning, mental focus, etc is all at an elite level from a lifetime of training and racing. Throughout a Grand Prix weekend, in practise sessions, he is pushing and learning things about the car every session on every track, he takes no days off.
Indeed, and if they believe it, what would be the result if he didn't take it easy, even more dominating? What does it says about the other (their favourite) drivers if this would be the result of "easy" while the others try to perform at maximum?
We are all witnessing history now. We should enjoy him. We don’t see beast like him very often in F1. The consistency is so insane to watch. Every weekend he is 100% on point. I can only take my hat off to him and the team.
Aww that was nice hearing what his team thought of him back when he was a young driver! He basically grew up in RB and has been with them since the beginning. This was a nice video and really sweet :)

For me, what makes Verstappen (Max) even more special is the way he just keeps on making jokes. In the garage just before a session, but also in interviews, he's just having the time of his life driving an awesome car. Of course his relentless top level driving which just keeps going on and on has probably never been seen before, is unbelievable. But seeing how he is in interviews and online videos, he's just still a regular guy.... hats off
I will NEVER forget the last lap of 2021, it was a Sunday night for me, seeing Lewis at the front my heart sank to an all time low. And then that lap.... oh my ... that lap.. from such a low to almost screaming the roof off my house from elation was one for the BEST OF ALL TIME books of F1.... I find myself still watching it every now and again to relive that moment.... MAX VERSTAPPEN!!!!! G.O.A.T!!!!!!
To all his haters: You will never ever witness a pure racing driver like Max ever again, he is the greatest to ever touch this sport. He lives and breathes motorsport, wants to race everything, is incredibly competitive in sim racing, spends his off time racing.. who else can you attribute that to? He is the GOAT, end of.
No. You can lick Max's balls as much as you want. But it's undeniable that Goatifi is the supreme goat of this sport. Max can't clean Goatifi's boots. Cry and prove me wrong 😎
10:40 When max said “you need to enjoy those years because they pass by very quickly” I felt that hard, as a now 33 year old, wondering where all the time went
The first f1 game I played was 2016. The first time I watched F1 was also 2016. Vettel quickly took my interests as i learned more about the current drivers. As well as Max. And after going back to watch some of maxs highlights and seeing that maiden win, it was Max who really got me into the sport. I have been a hardcore believer ever since! SUPER MAX! SUPER MAX!

I started watching F1 Max's first season, so I became a fan of the new guy. I remember him being VERY aggressive and the commentators even talking about his style. Abu Dhabi '21 is something I'll never forget and hearing GP screaming strikes emotion every time. Love him or hate him, he is possibly an all-time talent and will probably break most of not all the records.
It's beautiful to see that even though they win. They're still talking on their mistakes and how to improve those shortcomings. Well done Red Bull, Well done Max.
Three years already... I remember the night day when it was announced that he would drive for Red Bull. And what a weekend it was. Had a hard time sleeping. I follow the sport since Spa '91, and also saw Jos driving. Never expected that he would produce such a beast of a driver. The roaring Lion! And then that day in Abu Dhabi. December 12th, just over three years ago. I sincerely think that the right man won the Championship. The other guy had a great end of the season. But what a season Max drove. And there was only one outcome that was the crown on this year. And that was Max being a deserved 1st time World Champion. Well deserved for him, for Red Bull Racing and Honda! The dedication of all three brought you to things never seen before! 💪🏆🏆🏆💪
Such an incredible journey. To have watching him fight his way to his first championship to now having this 3rd championship is incredible as a fan. I cannot imagine how incredible it is for those who make this their life goal and spend thousands and thousands of hours in pursuit of this incredible win. Great work.
I've been an F1 fan since 1997 (that year's Hungarian GP was my first). For years I'd been hoping we'd ever see a Dutch winner, but unfortunately, most of my countrymen had been in midfield or back marker teams. So when Max came into F1, at the tender age of 17 and performing the way he did in his first season, it gave me hope. I will never forget where I was when Max won his first race and never will I forget the incredible feeling of seeing him win his first title. Apart from getting married and becoming a father, nothing has come close to that feeling. To see him subsequently break almost every record conceivable in 2023 was just the cherry on top. Thank you Red Bull for making my and all other Dutch F1 fans dreams come true.
Thank you for sharing this video Red Bull Racing. How a great team of people growing together and still acknowledge improvements to make is impressive. In this environment Max could grow further as a driver. The video shows the splendid energy amongst you all, which reflects in a sense the RB culture as a whole. Looking forward to the F1 season 2024.
As a Formula 1 fan, you can only enojoy the greatness that is Max Verstappen and his team. There are no words to describe what he has accomplished this year. He has made one of the most competitive sports look so easy that people call it boring, but in the end the other teams and drivers are going to have to step up their game next year or it will be another Max solo. Congrats Max and congrats Red Bull, you were amazing!
Max lets everybody see what you can achieve if you're willing to work really hard for it. Max made the whole team want to be better, be a champion in their own right with the same singleminded approach. It is safe to say that Max thought the whole team to be champions again. Crazy how little integrity y'all have
This is why i dont get Max haters.
Max is just really competitive. On and off the track. He has his goals and sticks by it.
True and he has worked hard for it since he was young.
After that rainy brasil gp we knew he is special, seen Vettel and Schumacher drive in the wet and outperform the grid but what he was doing that day was probably as close as you can come to the limit in the rain in terms of speed and car controll
we knew he was special when he was dominating professional top level adult karting scene as a kid. we knew he was special when he performed wonder driving for backmarker team in F3. we knew he was special when he won his first race ever jumping in the new car for the first time.
Thanks RBR for this feature.
hearing about a 17yo win at his debut made me come back to F1
watching that 2016 Interlagos race made me a Max Verstappen fan.
in June 2024 i`ll see him racing live in Spielberg for the first time and i can't wait :)
"he turned around and walked into a plate glass window"
Honestly I could see Max doing that at this age lmaoo
Aww that was nice hearing what his team thought of him back when he was a young driver! He basically grew up in RB and has been with them since the beginning. This was a nice video and really sweet :)
this race was just awesome it felt like if you were watching a movie or something like that.😊
When your f1 driver doesn’t have a normal driving license 😅
Seeing him win 3 WDC is something special. What a season he had!
That moment always gives me goosebumps.

He is one of the most impressive drivers, I always saw how good he was even in his first F1 seasons. I think he is a great and very deserving champion
Coming back to this after yesterday’s performance, is emotional to say the least, especially seeing Brazil getting discussed. Max, is truly, the goat.
The first race in F1 I ever watched was the 70th Anniversary race at Silverstone & watching Max win that race at a track Mercedes always dominated at AGAINST THE W11 and won, legendary & been a huge fan ever since. 3 World titles and counting for my GOAT
Very well produced and a fitting tribute to a boy that became a man and may very well become the greatest driver of all time. BRAVO MAX!
what a talent... living legend... all class
Max truly deserve to be 3 world champions and he has the potential to be come have more world champions in 2024❤❤❤
Coming from a Hamilton fan, Max has grown on me quite a bit. Extremely deserving champion.
Lets hope mercedes gets the car right so we can see 2 titans fight for the world championschip👍👍
@hoekie1980 there's only one titan in f1 at this moment
@@swoosh26 at this moment yes. But if merc get their acts together it could be interesting next year at least as a fan of the sport i hope.
@@hoekie1980. As a Max fan, I’ll take a dominant WDC or a competitive, nail biting WDC as long as Max emerges the Victor 😅
@@hoekie1980 When Merc gets their act together George is more likely to be in the Mix as well ! That's what i'll be excited about !
This was a beautiful, honest presentation where everyone can see why the RB team & Max are a lot more than just team mates. They seamlessly work together to make each other perform even better than their best, knowing that Max will convert their had work & ingenuity into a race winning car.
Max, you are my hero. Long live Max Verstappen 🦁 You are a true, genuine and most sincere driver, success never changed you, it just made you better. You are a true inspiration.
Also, this could be a coming of age movie. Incredi-BULL ❤️
Inc. RED-i-BULL indeed.
We have witnessed, not one of the, actually the greatest season ever by a driver and team in Formula 1. I havent seen anyone being at one with the car more than him. Godspeed Max, the guy lives and breathes this sport. Eagerly waiting for Mission 2024 😊
I did a presentation about Max back in back in 2013 when he was 15 years old, At that time I was still karting myself. Back then I already said that guy will end up in F1 because of his attitude and pure talent and surely will be a F1 world champion.
For sure, I was right.
Did you ever kart against him? What was THAT like?
the first years of max in f1 ... made me cry almost every time max got a podium and the moves he would make on the track !
what a joy it really is watching max doing so much greatness .
its so pretty hearing all of these nice words about max from christian
Love how there’s just a portion of the video dedicated to Maxiel
This documentary was amazing.
17:23 goes especially hard, though. "Max won all the remaining races in 2023".
Bruh I peeped that and all I could do was tip my hat!
Reporter: “so, what’s the goal for the rest of the year?”
Max:
“Win more races 🤷🏽♂️”
RBR fosters a sense of team spirit which no team can. Max is not only a champion but an inspiration for all those who want to win with every cell they have in them. His discipline is his greatest strength.
PS: RBR you guys should make an animated movie. Cheers and thank you.
They seem to have a balance of having fun, professionalism, open ideaa, and competitiveness. People hate Horner and Marko, but they’re the reason this team is great.
@@Alp577. Idk who these ppl are outside of Britain but I love both Horner and Marko. One brought him to RBR and the other gave him what he needed to win.

I am proud to be dutch , we as Dutch fan racing people dreamed about a winner in F1 and maybe a Dutch world Champion, we thought it wasn't possible.
But there was Max, he came , he conquered and shattered many records. And still he is the same guy. He is Max Verstappen and no body of anything else, gets him of track.
I am from my 8th year fan of Jos Verstappen, Max i have followed from karts and every F3 race and then every F1 race.
I want to say to every body and to the Red Bull Team.
Thank you Red Bull, thank you Dr. Helmut Marko, thank you Christian Horner, Thank you GP ( you are legend , brother from another mother with Max), and many thanx to al the mechanics ( you are the true legends what many people dont see).

But seeing how he is in interviews and online videos, he's just still a regular guy.... hats off
Man I love redbull for giving opportunities to drivers like Vettel and Max, go #redbullracing and thank you for bringing us these moments 🏁💯

WAIT THAT WAS NOT ALBON THAT WAS GP
What where
Exactly what i was thinking. Thought it was Albon all this time.
He said so in this video😉
Who actually thought it was albon
Why on earth would albon be on the radio
To all his haters: You will never ever witness a pure racing driver like Max ever again, he is the greatest to ever touch this sport.
He lives and breathes motorsport, wants to race everything, is incredibly competitive in sim racing, spends his off time racing.. who else can you attribute that to? He is the GOAT, end of.
No. You can lick Max's balls as much as you want. But it's undeniable that Goatifi is the supreme goat of this sport. Max can't clean Goatifi's boots. Cry and prove me wrong 😎
Exactly, thats why im a fan of him since he entered F1.
SUPER MAX! SUPER MAX!
Max is not only a super driver, he is very intelligent as well!
Thank you Oracle Red Bull Racing for 3 amazing championship winning years. Really enjoyed this video, it shows how strong the family at Red Bull is.
What an epic short movie. Almost made me cry. We're watching history unfold as we speak. Lets never forget that.

You should stop giving an abuser that much of appreciation
@@YeloLatte learn to separate issues and dont hate what you don't have control over. We can all agree that Jos created a monster of a driver. It is not about their personal lives. It is about what Jos did to make Max successful in his racing career. He may have failed to be a good husband or father but he definately did something your father couldn't. He made one of the best F1 driver to ever live and made him successful to earn millions from it. Something your father couldn't.

Same here dude, same here. It’s a privilege to watch him race 🎉 Merry Christmas from the States
I really admire you max because of your passion… its an evolution.
It's about the journey, not the destination. I have been enjoying every bit of Max' journey and hope it will keep going for a long time.
For me, Max is the 🐐
It's beautiful to see that even though they win. They're still talking on their mistakes and how to improve those shortcomings. Well done Red Bull, Well done Max.
They truly embraces the "team work makes dream work" philosophy
@TheVeenmeister Wonderful

Such an incredible journey. To have watching him fight his way to his first championship to now having this 3rd championship is incredible as a fan. I cannot imagine how incredible it is for those who make this their life goal and spend thousands and thousands of hours in pursuit of this incredible win. Great work.
4 time champion now!!!
He’s an artist, give him a helmet and a car and you’ll get a masterpiece.
Brilliantly put!
Thank you for sharing this video Red Bull Racing. How a great team of people growing together and still acknowledge improvements to make is impressive. In this environment Max could grow further as a driver. The video shows the splendid energy amongst you all, which reflects in a sense the RB culture as a whole. The awareness of Max to deliver to the limit is obvious and meets his ambitions and needs. In this synergy the results we noticed were incredible outstanding. I hope to see more in the future. Looking forward to the F1 season 2024.
It's breathtaking to witness the raw talent that is Max. I dare not draw comparison because it's obvious the bar he sets. His pace is terrifying!
Indeed, couldn't agree more
As a Formula 1 fan, you can only enojoy the greatness that is Max Verstappen and his team. There are no words to describe what he has accomplished this year. He has made one of the most competitive sports look so easy that people call it boring, but in the end the other teams and drivers are going to have to step up their game next year or it will be another Max solo. Congrats Max and congrats Red Bull, you were amazing!

Max made the whole team want to be better, be a champion in their own right with the same singleminded approach. It is safe to say that Max thought the whole team to be champions again.
Trust went both ways and the results speak for its self.
The team proved to be just as good as the RB19, just as unstoppable.
