Yes and he's been Fantastic, but this yr he will not be in the Running for MVP, But he very well may get the Ring, and end all Discussion of the Greatest.
how does 3 rings make him.the goat his stats are in steady decline he leads the league in interceptions he's 16th in tds. When brady "road" a much worse defense y'all we're saying "ohhh he's dinking and dunking behind a great defense he's not the goat" brady averaged like 2.5 tds and 300 yards behind a good defense mahomes averages 1 tds and 1 interceptions with 200 yards behind the best defense
Im tired of talking bout the offense. KC is a defensive team now. They proved it last year and they're proving it again this year. They got the best defensive coach in the league top 3 at worse. Chris Jones is the best d-lineman, the linebacker room is top 5, and Trent McDuffie deserves to be in the convo for best corner in the league. As long as the offense is average they the favorites
Yeah I agree the defence is the identity of the team now has been for 2 years. That being said this was the best performance of the year for Mahomes it'll get better
I agree with you on the defense. I would like for the media to tell the truth about Patrick. Patrick is playing better than he gets credit for. Since the season started Taylor the right tackle and whoever they have at left tackle has ruined his numbers just last night touchdown to Gray but wait Taylor on the hold so not only is the touchdown gone you're 10 yards in the hole. How many big plays have you all seen ruined by poorest tackles in the league?
Alex here , I agree that D is good , but it's your QB that elevates your team . I am old enough to tell you that back in 90s chiefs D was #1 in NFL but never had a good enough QB to reach the promised land , my point is that if we fall behind Mahome is the x_ factor
It just doesn't look sexy. Of course they are winning games, but it's not aesthetically pleasing. 4TD sets ,JuJu leading to the way. Lol. As fans we want to see winning like the Bulls, like Federer in tennis. The eye candy test. 😁 Of course, if they 3 peat, like they did last year, grinding it out, that's what it's all about at the end of the day.✋
KC's facing a lot of shell coverage, and defenses are getting better at disguising them. To take advantage, KC needs to become a better running team. They're working on it. Getting positive yards on the ground, almost no matter what, is huge, for them. Getting the extra yards at the end of the play with extra push from the O-Line and the big, strong backs... In a similar situation, New England went big. Running AND passing out of extra TE sets and tackle-eligible sets. Teams had to respect the run threats, and that morphed into 4 or 5 unmolested seconds for Tom Brady to find Randy Moss, 30 or 40 yards down the field. The thing they did for Brady over their run was give him more time to survey the field than they were giving the opposing QB. But they also had really strong running threats. I think KC's close to rounding-out that offense. If they want to get better at passing, they need to get better at running. They're close. I'm guardedly optimistic that it'll gel by December. The amazing thing is how good they've been playing, even though the offense hasn't clicked, yet. I think Mahomes's "struggles" are downstream of what they're trying to do on the ground. They just brought Jody Fortson to the 53. 4th TE. Good. They need to find ways to run and throw out of the 3- and 4-TE sets. That could be the missing ingredient.
Pat Mahomes himself says he is NOT happy with his own play and how he in ways has to start over with building new chemistry and trust in new offensive players. That is not him saying that the players that are the other WR’s or RB’s or his protection to the left that is lacking, is their fault. It is just a logical statement. They needed to strengthen the offense in the off season. And Brown, Rice, Pacheco & Worthy was the plan, and the group he practised with during the summer. He knew he did not want to look from his standards, bad on the offense again, or putting alot of burden on the defense to carry them to the chances where the winning mentality and his strength can give them close wins when they matter the most. He simply did not want to be in that position again. But now he is with these injuries. So I don’t even see him caring about getting a regular season MVP as it is now, why even pretend he is close to that right now? He is not playing with the ”wow factor” it usuqlly takes to win MVP, it is more grind and not at all, perfect right now. He has to focus on getting better to the playoffs and if in the SB, get the MVP there. As it looks now, why not leave the talk about MVP for the regular season to players like Lamar or maybe CJ again. And rightfully so. Nothing wrong with it when you know you are trying to ”work with what you got” on the offense when all the plans from pre season go out the window in just a few weeks. And slowly build confidence in the red zone to get TD’s instead of field goals, with what you’ve got.
My mans mispronounced Perine AND khalen when his tag is literally @khalennotkaylen and then topped it off by incorrectly saying it was khalen at the concert with kelce when it was khalen's brother who is the tswift dancer.... bruh... are we professional or wtf is going on here? Just sayibg whatever?
That’s what great teams do even when they are down players they find a way to win that’s what great teams do. Kansas City is greatness right now and I’m not even a Chiefs fan, but I have to respect it. Which is trying to get Elon Musk to for some of that NIL money with that hat he’s trying to get Elon Musk to fund recruiting😂
I love how you put up a segment for every game after it's finished but you didn't put one up for the jaguars winning against the colts....like I've said before it's personal lol 😂😂😂😂
Yeah, that DPI call really hurt the Saints. Underthrown ball. DB in perfect position. He just didn't get his head around, which he should have when he saw Worthy tapping the brakes and looking back. With a perfect throw just beyond the DB, Worthy should get that thing.
Andy coaches the team like he has a great defense - and he does. Charles Omenihu is on his way back too. I dont worry about the offense - they get what they need when they need it.
if the 15th best qb stat wise wins mvp the award means literary nothing anymore they win despite of mahomes not because of mahomes. the dude leads the league in turnover and 16th in tds with a little over 200 yards a game behind the best interior o line and the best defense in the last decade
Mahomes at the rate he’s at 6 tds 6 ints is not winning mvp . Especially when he’s not playing at MVP level football . Jaden Daniels and Lamar have a better shot to win it than Patrick Mahomes . I don’t want to hear look at the talent around argument when other QBs haven’t won the MVP and had the same Excuse as Mahomes
LamaRB wasn’t a top 10 passer last season but was handed the MVP because his team was the 1 seed led by the best defense. Now that Mahomes is in that spot yall are gonna bitch and cry😂🤣
Nope, no MVP for Patrick. He'll be well served with a three-peat and an unbeaten season - has to live with that. The MVP is reserved for Jackson, because he will now break all team-rushing records by handing off to Henry and own contributions. Mahomes is too slow for that.
The defense had 2 turnovers that game lol 😂the chiefs are definitely a defense of team now there offense is mid compared to other nfl teams like the Vikings
@johnniner8134 it's not about stats. It's about winning a super bowl what does stats have to do if you never get a superbowl rings... it's about surviving out lastnighting and out playing your opponents and they are doing it with know name receivers 😅😅 wow Daniel's played a couple good games Whoopeedo pat was way better his rookie year...🤣🤣🤣
NO, NO Patrick is NOT an MVP Anything, He has NO Stats, and Won't have anytime soon. LAMAR has all that , and that's fine, enjoy - Patrick is ONLY about RINGS - This is Real Life.
Mahomes on pace for about 18 TDs and 18 INTs this season... and yall said Lamar didnt deserve MVP last year. Boy this would be the most undeserved MVP in nfl history. more than when that kicker won it
That washington kicker was good for 10/12 wins. It's not really undeserving. Especially in that era where points are difficult to come by. But i understand what you mean
@chiecheung25 the kickers team was 8-1 that year, not 12 or 13 wins. And he beat Dan Fouts who threw 2800 yards and 17 TDs in 9 games. Thats almost like 5400 yards and 34 TDs converted to a 17 game season. And the league wasn't as pass heavy back then. It's fairly well known the MVP voters gave it to the kicker as a slap in the face to the players because they were on strike that season.
@thatstheway2429 the conversation happened today... today Mahomes is 6:6 and they are asking if he is the MVP frontrunner... why are you talking about hypotheticals? Yeah Desean Watson could end the year with 5k yards 50TDs and win MVP. Why aren't we talking about that tho? Because the current stats don't show that will happen. Think next time
People love to player worship. Mahomes could probably throw 3 interceptions per every 1 td and people would blame everyone and everything else instead of him. Perhaps still even try to vote him in for MVP.
Mahomes after 100 games in his career:
Most wins ever
Most yards ever
Most TD's ever
15-3 playoff record
Three chips
= 🐐 maaaaaahhhhh
Best ever !

Sounds a lot like what they used to say about the Patriots 🤔
100%.
Absolutely elite defense. Will keep every game at a minimum 1 possession.
And come January, if you got Mahomes, that’ll do.
I agree with you on the defense.
I would like for the media to tell the truth about Patrick.
Patrick is playing better than he gets credit for.

You fools with the anti-Mahomes MVP grumblings, don't you think Dan Marino would trade his stats for a few SB rings? Stats are for losers.
It just doesn't look sexy. Of course they are winning games, but it's not aesthetically pleasing. 4TD sets ,JuJu leading to the way. Lol. As fans we want to see winning like the Bulls, like Federer in tennis. The eye candy test. 😁

Absolutely! Win, baby
“Stats are for losers” is the single most intelligent thing I’ve heard
MVP should go to Chris Jones. He’s changing every play, every down. Come back player is looking like Kareem Hunt.
If sam darnold doesn't implode and go back to his old self, i think he'll win it
Here comes the 3 peat! Taytay is our good luck charm. Haters gonna hate...shake it off
Chris jones for mvp!
Credit Defense! As Jones said, it's cool so long as we win. Let's go Kingdom ❤
Chief defense is playing great
The chiefs have shortcomings but are clearly the best team once again. Chiefs kingdom baby

Shit I’ll would to
4 tight ends. Who does that? Andy, that's who.

That wasn't Khaland Saunders! It was his brother who is a backup dancer for her.
If the Cleveland Browns are truly stuck with Deshaun Watson and are going to continue to use him as the starter, they should trade Myles Garrett
As a chiefs fan, I’ll say it. We all want Hunt over Pacheco.
MVPat

Few help like always but still chiefs still solid we know its alwatmys tons on favor of them

The only MVP award Mahomes cares about is Super Bowl MVP.
@@csb78nm true but in terms of MVP of the league he’s not close . 6 ints in 5 games isn’t close to MVP
@@stlegion-px1wo MVP usually goes to the Qb on the 1 seed so for Jaylen and Lamar to win they got lot of work to do
When asked Lamar said he would rather win a Super Bowl than a MVP trophy.
LamaRB wasn’t a top 10 passer last season but was handed the MVP because his team was the 1 seed led by the best defense. Now that Mahomes is in that spot yall are gonna bitch and cry😂🤣
When a guys says “vintage” anyone it makes me feel like he doesn’t know shit he just regurgitates crap he already heard🙄smh
Mahomes is a big brain qb.

Lamar would be 2-3 if it wasn't for a terrible FG attempt.
The saints run a interception 50 yds and still didn't score
Lol..wrong graphics
The defense had 2 turnovers that game lol 😂the chiefs are definitely a defense of team now there offense is mid compared to other nfl teams like the Vikings
Deshaun Watson would be perfect for Jim Harbaugh for his offense style. Just like Kapernick
Kap was trash though.
Saints are not too impressive. They have some pieces but coaching is mid to bad.
Shake it off Pat, take the bye & come back Mahome$
CHIEFS CHIEFS CHIEFS
Mahomes not up for any MVP.. where did someone hear that.. after bye week KC goes to 49ers.. can't wait
Pat for MVP!
hell no
*SB MVP
Steelers will only go as far as TJ Watt and that defense takes them bcoz Fields is a trash passer and Russ has been broken
Chiefs got like 3 L's the refs saved them from getting lol
Another win, and NFL is too boring.
Sam Darnold
Geno smith for MVP!!💨
Sam Darnold is out playing mahomes, lol . Defense and Andy Reid carrying him this season. Sam Darnold or Jayden daniels are the MVP right now
Darnold was garbage against the Jets
Darnold also has the best WR in the league.
@kenbattor6350 he's having a great season so far leads the league with 11 TD . It's still early in the season, but he deserves the praise
Daniels has played a cupcake schedule, but he is certainly off to a great start.

Fk..Lamar...he is only a season player never made it to a divisional conference game😂😂😂
While agree. We better not lose sight of the rookie quarterback for the Nationals
@@tonydisibio4236 Lamar should come to the Chiefs and be our third down back. That's the only way he ever wins a ring.
They had 26 points lol 😂there not the best team in the league
In had 2 defensive turnovers lol 😂 the chiefs are a defense team now
No way you're saying 26 points isnt good
Don't even bother watching KC anymore it is just boring
Thank God, we got tired of watching the game with thescreamingchildren.
They are way more fun to watch than 90% of teams you’re just butt hurt
@harleykateman9362 they play crappy and win anyway, because of the refs and Taylor swift lol.
Everyone is just gonna play blind to the cheats
