This is enjoyable to listen too! You could tell that Travis has the mental aptitude to become an all time great, he's receptive to learning and building upon his intelligence, and that he respects the mind and character of Richard Sherman 😎👊🏿💯!!
Great for you BOTH to have cleared up what wasn't the case in the first place. I love to see Sherm doing all he can to elevate and mentor these young men. Like he says, they're already doing well but to have a smart experienced man whose walked ahead of them share his knowledge and love is such a gift to get to see. Job well done to you both (and to Travis' fiance too).
Well done Mr. Sherman!! You are the person who you have projected yourself to be. A smart, inteligent, progressive and authenic person who happens to be black. Kudos!!!
Good stuff here Sherm. Glad to see yall able to mend what was a misunderstanding from the beginning. As a 9er fan we would welcome Travis to the Bay like no other😂 what a blessing it would be to draft a player like him. Best of luck in the draft, Trav💯
So, explain this. What's the point of mentioning "black"? Is that to imply that the world is out to get black men so black men better at least stick together? Because if it is, we're talking within the frame of the NFL, which is 54% black and the highest paid and most popular sport in the United States.
Ur first problem is ur programmed mentality of isolating race. States truth of racism is live and active still! Separate the soul separate the truth from a lie and live amongst it

I wish it was longer! The mutual respect was so apparent! I love watching a vet willing encourage and share information, and I love when a younger phenom is humble enough to accept the feedback. This was beautiful to witness. Great job!
Sherm coaching up Travis is going to be elite !!!! Travis is the true definition of being a “sponge” and soaking up knowledge. All best to these two legends
Great conversation I covered the comment on my channel and it was easy to see that people did not listen and took your words out of context, but its honorable that you still took the time to clear the air and provide game to the future nfl star.
I get what Sherman was saying A great corner is more coveted than a great player with ball skills at WO unless you’re megatron or moss But ppl sleep on Travis’ yards after catch and ball carrying skills. If the ball is in Travis hands, you’re scared as a defense same way as tyreek and Lamar Jackson . Chase.
Sherm, enjoyed when TNF showed you going at with other former/current players when you are dressed up on the sidelines. Fun watch, you should have a segment.
Question...when attempting to tackle a running back is the priority to tackle him or is it to punch at the ball then tackle? The reason for my question is in the Steelers lost to the Cowboys, I saw a lot of punching at the ball that led to extra yardage being gained instead of just tackling. Of course I am watching the TV version of the game but it just seemed like that. Thanks for feedback in advance.
Thanks for your response. Not a football guy, but I thought it is taught. Also could it be situational? I just felt like the time they took punching, they could have just tackled to prevent the extra yardage.
@@blacktrump0674 it is taught and practiced. Yo 1st instinct is to stop the guy. But depending on how confident you are it’s second nature to strip the ball out or knock it out. And that varies amongst players.
I think Travis should begin his NFL career as a starting W1 or W2 while being packaged as a CB3 in nickel and/or dime and/or quarters coverages for probable passing plays to guard slot receivers and get 3rd down long yardage stops. This will require a team that already has 2 dominant CBs that Travis Hunter will respect in a CB3 role. If we were looking at a Madden depth chart it would need to be: CB1: 92 CB2: 90 CB3: Travis Hunter 88-89 As a rookie he will get a 88-89 at CB. He is that good. Offense he should start at WR1 or WR2 and he should also have the same 88-89 rating at WR. Travis Hunter hands are too good for him not to start at WR. As bland as he may be, he will enter the NFL with an 88-89 Madden score and over the years he will be a 90s level bland WR receiver as he continues to learn and grow. The above will save his body for a longer career while earning money both ways within a great contract. If Travis demonstrates the ability to handle the above in his first contract; he can then request to be a CB1 or CB2 starting both ways on the second contract. I think that is how teams will/should approach him and put him into a high talented CB room that he will respect a CB3 role within.
@RichardSherman how are you going to act like we can’t just go back and clearly see you call this man “BLAND”. The tape doesn’t lie. Apologize and keep it pushing.
When he said that he said “blend” I was saying to myself wow he’s just lying to save himself now, then I went back to watch it and to my surprise he really did say blend lol
Can someone like him can just negotiate with a team he likes, and basically walk in and sign a contract? I’m not saying he should, but is that against nfl rules, or has that happened?
I wish Travis hadn't did this interview.Something deep down told me this is what all the childish comments coming from Richard Sherman was all about in the first place this is what he was hoping would come from the comments.Travis should have kept it moving and let this man look silly by himself.
