Great work! and so professional. and sir, may I ask do you have any affiliation?
and also, if you have budget and strong enough motor, I wanna recommend you to buy some rgbd camera and motorized z-stage for easier work. The stage's resolution is under 0.1mm if your motor(encoder) is fine, and it's not that expensive solution.
But frankly your method seems more accurate

I am a freelancer, I am not affiliated with anyone.
I do animatronics for a living, and in my drawers I have all kinds of motors.
As I explained in the video, (with my poor English) if you have a lot of things to scan, you can motorize the plate.

Thank you for posting all these videos. I've seen people do 3d scanning as a hobby with their cellphones and a rotating table, but it's nice to see the more professional method. I also like your narration during the video. I think you've been using a text-to-speech in other videos which is fine, but I also like this new way with your own narration.

      Thank you for the compliments.
Yes, I have decided that from now on I will no longer use the artificial voice, even though I do not speak English very well, but I noticed that the RUclips translator translated well, it understood my words.
This gave me confidence and so from now on I will speak with my natural voice.
      Thank you
