There are so many Traditional teams who played Bundesliga in the last 20 years. Thats why the 2nd Bundesliga will look like the Bundesliga.
It looked like Werder Bremen were pretty much safe from relegation just months ago, but only 1 point in the last 10 games means that an era with over 40 years in Bundesliga is over for Werder Bremen😢
They should have sacked Kohfeldt after the 3-1 Home defeat against Bayern. Now Werder got bis receipt for the Performance.
Funny how two weeks ago it was more between koln and arminia to leave the top tier. But werder's recent downfall with one point taken only led them to appropriate end.

@@bundesliga yeah,the situation with mainz reminds me cases with cagliari,alaves and nantes in other top leagues. And in premier league,at one point fulham also went up and had a chance to stay but then they started to loose games again. And werder's downhill "brothers" are benevento and valladolid. From (relatively) safety - to relegation.

Yesterday was a bad day for me, first Werder Bremen were relegated then Lincoln bottling the play offs, but luckily we still went through.
I wouldn't call an away loss at Sunderland as bottling it. If anything it's Sunderland who bottled promotion again although deservedly stay in League 1. Good luck vs Blackpool.

In 18/19 season Werder played very nice only 1 point behind UEL place and 4 behind UCL but in 19/20 season they struggled and only on away goals they secured Bundesliga 2020/21 season. And this year after mid table until april they finished 17th after 1 point in 10 matches. Bundesliga is going to be trash without Schalke and Bremen. No Hamburg still.

@@ferdygartin1331 Realy awful to see that. Schalke played in UCL just 2 years ago they were UCL regulars. Bremen struggled but after 18/19 season I thought Werder is going to battle for Europe. Hamburg still in 2nd Bundesliga. Kaiserslautern still in 3rd division this is unreal.
If you want to finish higher you need better players and Bremen did not buy better players
