    This is called Malay apple native to South East Asia. Google and see. Malay Apple. But, yes, in Ghana and West Africa I would support calling it Asantewa Apple, for she planted and nursed it to fruition.

    Well, if the apple was grown from the seed, then this is definitely, a hybrid type of apple. That is, you'll get about 50% of the type of apple grown and 50% of some other plant that it was pollinated from. You may not get the same taste of the apple you ate and planted it's seed. I think a best approach would have been through grafting. Let's hope for the best out of this tree and perhaps a new variety of apple.

      3000 Drumz I have it in my garden ,with Bay leaves,Rosemary,Tumeric,grapes,and plum and perisimone . I have been bringing sterns and seed any time I travel and test it here to see which one our soil will cope with and all this is coming so I don't see why they are suprise.
