Murgh Sahar(bird of twilight ) is one of the most famous and important Persian poems in the contemporary era, which is mostly political and freedom-seeking, which was written about 100 years ago. The most famous performance of this poem belonged to Mohammad Reza Shajarian, and in this song, his son sang parts of the poem again
This is one of the poems that has always been used for freedom in any government
In 10:50 you felt correct. Iranian music has a series of systems called "Dastgah" which are kind of similar to scales "Minor" and "Major", but much more diverse as there are 7 main "Dastah"s in Iranian music.
So, the song starts with "Nava" dastgah which tends to be a a bit sad and dramatic, then it artistically switches to "Mahour" which is in most parts similar to Major scale and has a kind of intrinsic happiness and euphoria. Also, each Dastgah has some more divisions called "Goosheh". While the song was in Mahour, it switched to another "Goosheh" of Mahour which is a bit dramatic and came back. And then again at the end switched back to "Nava" which was the Dastgah which the song began with. This form of changing Dastgah is rare and a very demanding job on composer's side. The composer "Sohrab Pournazeri" is a real genius!

My friend, Persian literature is a rich, beautiful and ancient literature
Persian literature has 226 million words. If you see that some traditional songs do not have subtitles, it is because there is no equivalent of that word in English.
And even if that meaning can be translated into English, it's not as beautiful as the original, and it doesn't mean what we understand, and it's completely different.
