    Thumbs up bro! You have the sense of both music and poem... Usually, people get hypnotized by the music and the magical voice of Homayoun and they miss the deep lyrics most of the time... But you really dig into the poem and that's awesome man!
    Rumi's poems are all about divine love... They seem sad, but they're not! Or in better terms, it's not the regular sadness that is because of depression... It's about being apart from God and the pure love that every human has had once in prior lives...
    The regular sadness drains your energy and motivation for doing everything... But on the other hand, this "Sadness of Love" makes you on fire in every moment of your life!!! That's the craziness which Rumi refers to a lot in his poem...This kind of sadness has a very strong permanent happiness inside because this sadness finally makes you move and reach that love forever, like Rumi himself...
    By this "Craziness", you can do magic like Rumi, Hafez, and western legends like Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, and many more... In fact, Shakespeare is very very similar to Persian poems in terms of meaning... It's all about pure divine love... Reading Shakespeare's poem is very helpful for understanding Rumi's poem...
    I like your work man! Thumbs up again! 😊💖👍

    I can listen to this every day , I love it during the night driving . It make me crazy specially the lyrics
    Ok... The river and hell are contradiction river and water can put off fire ! and crying like river make you ease with pain . can you see the depth of the selected wording in this sort of poem ? understanding persian poem in depth is almost impossible unless you study years and years in persian literature in depth . even native speakers would not understand it easily

    Yes. The phrase "it remained neither sea and nor desert" is a literary paradox. Because Rumi as a mystic had so many various spiritual paradoxical moods and ultimately he experienced moodless and formless at the ultimate stage of mystical ranks. It is called Fana in Sufism, something like Samadhi in Hindu mysticism and Nirvana in Zen Buddhism.

    How could I know that this longing would drive me so crazy;
    That it would make my heart a prison, and my eyes a river?
    How to know tears like a flash flood would carry me away,
    And hurl me like a ship into a vast sea of blood?
    That waves would beat and split this ship, board by board,
    Until each board twists away from all the many tortures?
    That the sea monster would raise its head and swallow the sea;
    That such an immense sea would go dry like a desert plain?
    When these transformations occurred, naught remained;
    What do I know, "why" and "ineffable" are sunken by each other?
    O how many the “I don’t know” there are, but I don’t know
    For I have swallowed the foam of opium, to forget that sea!

    Enjoying Homayoun Shajarian's performance is not just its magical sound.
    Rather, one should pay attention to his extraordinary singing style.
    The dynamics of this performance must also be considered.
    And many other magical wonders of Homayoun Shajarian's art that are worth pondering.
    Thank you very much for your excellent reaction

    Rumi spoke of a love, the love between God and himself
    First level: He knew little about God (his heart became hell and his eyes were rivers)
    Second level: He knew more than the first level, he was like a ship on the sea of blood
    The third level: the broken ship, the more he knew God, the more he considered himself insignificant
    The fourth level: He considered himself a whale, and the more he gained knowledge, the more he could not be satisfied
    The fifth level: it became like a desert and split and the whale disappeared in the heart of the earth (this verse is not included in this music)
    He goes on to say that although I know many things, I know nothing in front of God's greatness
    which says in the last verse, if I reached the sea of God's love, my mouth was closed and I ate a spoonful of sea water, and now I have become a mystic.
    Rumi Feat Homayoun : They create fantastic work 🤩🤩

    dude, if you compare rumi's love and nowadays love, it's like we are looking or feeling rumi's love in the future not in the past. it like his love is not from the earth, or is bigger than the whole world.
    but he was amazed by shams. and after he met shams he said (rumi said) who am I? In front of shams I am nobody

    Homayoun is ban again by regime to sing in public. In soon Free Iran all prison nation artists will bring joy to the world with live concerts. Homi got his talent from his father the greatest classical singer who passed from cancer few years ago. They have a duet when Homi was much younger
