Lovely house and if you can afford it....good luck to you. Love how the roof is level with the garden and how cosy the bedrooms are. Those areas have incredibly narrow lanes which were fine to walk in when I was a kid 60 years ago, being a Welsh peasant who grew up in backwater Powys and Shropshire , but Ive been not far from Wallop in an area full of these fantastic thatched homes and the roads are clogged with Audis or Mercs with room only for one at a time. The ambience of rural Britain can be sullied by our cars. Maybe certain hamlets of period houses ought to consider keeping cars out???? Operate a horse and carriage shuttle service run by an obliging yokel with an incomprehensible dialect and distinct odour.
Just beautiful, especially if you like coziness and peace! I love the simplicity of it all and the fact that you still have light coming in not every where. Winters must feel excellent in it 😍
My cottage is a cottage, It would fit in the living room of this house! So, I think I'd argue the point that this is a bit larger, mind you a wee bit larger, than a "cottage"......though I have actually driven past this very house many years ago in Hampshire.....lovely
