"He's very good at taking RPGs." Yes. Yes I am. Pleasure getting to play with you again Tom, but this game was utterly brutal. You peek around the wrong corner, you're gonna pay.
Looking at the history of this battle is crazy.. I think they did a good job putting you in a more realistic environment. 2004 was not that long ago. Imagining what this would have been like in real life makes this carry some weight.
I agree . I read books on this war, idk why I have been intrigued since I saw 9/11 happen. I always found the fire fights to be overwhelmingly luring.(when I would watch online on school computers) As a child ,all I could think about was how much balls you had to have to stand/crouch/prone in cover under fire , and THEN return fire. As well as how grown ass men can be so fearful.
Showed this to a friend that did two tours and he says they did amazing at replicating certain aspects, the fear of clearing each rooms, IED’s hidden away, the dirty air that makes you cough all the time… He wont play it but I might give it a go.
such a sick game and they nailed every aspect. as much fun as it is, do no forget the brutal combat 18-25 year old men went through there absolute brutal fighting like the story of Staff Sergeant David G. Bellavia. SSgt Bellavia distinguished himself by acts of gallantry and intrepidity above and beyond the call of duty on November 10, 2004, while serving as a squad leader in support of Operation Phantom Fury in Fallujah, Iraq. While clearing a house, a squad from Staff Sergeant Bellavia’s platoon became trapped within a room by intense enemy fire coming from a fortified position under the stairs leading to the second floor. Recognizing the immediate severity of the situation, and with disregard for his own safety, Staff Sergeant Bellavia retrieved an automatic weapon and entered the doorway of the house to engage the insurgents. With enemy rounds impacting around him, Staff Sergeant Bellavia fired at the enemy position at a cyclic rate, providing covering fire that allowed the squad to break contact and exit the house. A Bradley Fighting Vehicle was brought forward to suppress the enemy; however, due to high walls surrounding the house, it could not fire directly at the enemy position. Staff Sergeant Bellavia then re-entered the house and again came under intense enemy fire. He observed an enemy insurgent preparing to launch a rocket-propelled grenade at his platoon. Recognizing the grave danger the grenade posed to his fellow soldiers, Staff Sergeant Bellavia assaulted the enemy position, killing one insurgent and wounding another who ran to a different part of the house. Staff Sergeant Bellavia, realizing he had an un-cleared, darkened room to his back, moved to clear it. As he entered, an insurgent came down the stairs firing at him. Simultaneously, the previously wounded insurgent reemerged and engaged Staff Sergeant Bellavia. Staff Sergeant Bellavia, entering further into the darkened room, returned fire and eliminated both insurgents. Staff Sergeant Bellavia then received enemy fire from another insurgent emerging from a closet in the darkened room. Exchanging gunfire, Staff Sergeant Bellavia pursued the enemy up the stairs and eliminated him. Now on the second floor, Staff Sergeant Bellavia moved to a door that opened onto the roof. At this point, a fifth insurgent leapt from the third floor roof onto the second floor roof. Staff Sergeant Bellavia engaged the insurgent through a window, wounding him in the back and legs, and caused him to fall off the roof. Acting on instinct to save the members of his platoon from an imminent threat, Staff Sergeant Bellavia ultimately cleared an entire enemy-filled house, destroyed four insurgents, and badly wounded a fifth. Staff Sergeant Bellavia’s bravery, complete disregard for his own safety, and unselfish and courageous actions are in keeping with the finest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself and the United States.
I think that the most impressive part of Tomos play is the call outs. Communication wins battles. Team commentary is the key to most successful 'adventures'. Not too much verbalisation, short concise and directed to affected parties. Never hurts to be a gobby git in a firefight. Teamwork makes the dream work, et al. UBIQUE.
The answer for how are they still alive is because a few of them were high when they fought the Marines. We were taught to shoot for the socket where the leg connects to the torso. It wouldn’t kill but it would hinder their movement for a kill shot.
when you think about the people in fallujah experienced this cuz of some people lied about false WMD and those people are not remotely punished for thier actions. and years later the society that encouraged this in the first place is making video games out of that is a pretty dystopian world we live. Games looks good. :)
@SamuraiDeek First, most of the combatants weren't Iraqi. Second, the ones that we were fighting were the early stages of ISIS. So not good people at all. So, it was worth it in that sense. I was up in northern Iraq while this battle went on. In a much bigger city, thankfully it never got to this level. I've played this and it is pretty damn accurate. The only thing they got wrong was not making the SAW jam every 2 nutsacks worth of ammo.
@@Finny869 stop posting those lies in 2004 there was no isis what you talking about they went to iraq with 34 countries and burned it if u don't know well now u know if u know well that's a biggest BS i have ever heard
The point of the game isn't to glorify anyone. It's literally just to showcase the experience of the Marines who fought in the battle. And I'm pretty sure they said somewhere that they were going to showcase other perspectives anyways.
😂🤣😂 18:20 TOM: Fire in the hole ... the cache is about to blow .... make sure you are outside the building. You're clear, right? Matt, get out of there! MATIMO: Wait, what? *BOOOM* TOM: HAHAHAH
Literally wow just....wow, it's getting so close to being a simulation of real war it's crazy, id love to play this, role play would be next level, great stuff from Tomo and the boys o,/
I was about to say that looks like Iraq lmao! My unit replaced The Big Red 1 guy's that went through Fallujah. Those guy's saw some shit. I've been afraid to get this game because of flashbacks, but man, it looks really awesome lol.
May I just say that your face to face communication is like 100% better than actual infantry marines. We're told to say that kind of stuff and then it end up like "Hurry the fuck up" " There's a guy in the window" " Where?" "Over there to the left" " WTF DOES THAT MEAN ?!?!?"
Top Tip; Wait until at least 2 of your squad are killed before getting them back from the AAV, you only get 1 chance to get your dead squad mates back.
I got the same vibes from Insurgency Source 10 years+ ago. Took Six Days in F' too long to release. For some people though, this is an entirely new experience, but I just can't get into it.
I seriously wish they could have added a multiplayer mode this game gives off Insurgency Sandstorm vibes...im expecting this is what a new one on current gen will look like tho so that's exciting!
As an Iraqi I love this game, it's so nice to see people play a game about how my country was falsely invaded and stolen and how my innocent people were killed and painted as terrorists, and how the USA finally brought peace to the world after 😶
They absolutely nailed the atmosphere, the best recreation of Detroit to this day.
Dayum! Feel the burn!
😂
As a Detroiter, can confirm.
Burnnnnnn 😅
goteem
"Coming upstairs, check your fire"
Matimi0 - "And I took that personally."
7:57 probably one of the funniest moments
Lmao can’t believe he said it multiple times, then BAM friendly fire
“Checked. Still fires.”
"He's very good at taking RPGs."
Yes. Yes I am. Pleasure getting to play with you again Tom, but this game was utterly brutal. You peek around the wrong corner, you're gonna pay.
He told you three times to check fire
@hansdaimler865 That was Matimio, not Sidekick 😅
😂 my apologies then
Do they take cash only over there ?
The timing of Tomo shouting at Matimio to get out, and Mat’s “wait why?!?” before getting blown up absolutely killed me😂😂😂
This game is such a punisher but it feels amazing when you complete the mission! amazing content Tomo!

The audio when you're clearing a house is amazing, you can hear them talking and running around.
been playing this game since came and i can confirm this game truly amazing from sound to gameplay and visuals
The editing is always next level
Thanks man! 🥰
That "Hold shift and F" after crying out "breach the damn thing" cracked me up.

The audio and atmosphere of this game is incredible. It really makes me appreciate never having had to fight in a war.

Great Job Tom! 😂👍🏻

the voices inside buildings, above/below are great in this game. Really fun, cant wait for some campaign/more modes

Yes, a great representation of the trauma the poor marines that had to go through people's homes and murdering Iraqis 😢

Someone said once: "This game is a simulator of dying quick".
I wish you do a stream from this game, i would be glad seeing you and maybe jack in this game , it will be hilarious 😂
Why did the commander say get out.....💥😂
My brother was in the falujah raid. 3/1 weapons company. Did 2 tours over there.
This was friggin hilarious Tomo. That ammo cache moment had me in fits.
These sound effects are stellar
Well done you always make great content.
Appreciate that 🥰

Man I haven’t laughed so hard since the video for lethal company!😂
Glad you enjoyed it 😅
Nice to see Matimio back, streaming from his grandmas basement 😂
Getting run over during your intro is priceless.
Now imagine what it was like for those who were there

If there was ever a perfect moment for a RUclips short, this is it. 😂
"Matt, get out of there."
"WAIT WHAT"
Yooooo i was wondering if you were ever going to play this. Thank you for the great videos
He's played before if you haven't seen the first video! Highly recommended 😅
This game is REALLY good from a viewers standpoint if that makes sense. Every mission was a failure but it was great watching it unfold.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it

Ill be honest, this feels like war-based lethal company.
Looks so intense haha. Can’t wait to play!
Matimio is so going to be spending time at Leavenworth prison.
Today's episode of "The most brutal FPS game I've ever played" features "6 Days in Fallujah", one of the most brutal fps games out there.
Truly one of the most brutal FPS games of our time
That and insurgency CO OP
I would love to see Tom try a night mission
Absolute hilarious when tom get downed in stairs 😂 🤣
What will games be in 10 years, this is scarily realistic.
07:50. I'm coming upstairs, check your fire. Reality sets in.
I would love to see a game like this with destructible buildings and realistic gore.
Can’t wait (1) for the FAST squad to play this, and (2) for Stone to find some way to die from fall damage
We've actually played before if you missed the first vid? It's linked at the end of the video 👍
somebody : love this game , it make me remember how my family become richer than before
LOL he did check his fire alright 7:56
The game is so immersive that Tom even got into the typical USMC homoerotic humor.
The audio in this game is good.
I definitely saw that VIED death coming. Damn things are terrifying in real life.
Seeing matimio after so long.. 😮

This looks amazing.
I got the same vibes from Insurgency Source 10 years+ ago. Took Six Days in F' too long to release. For some people though, this is an entirely new experience, but I just can't get into it.
That Matt is shocking hahahaha.
War atrocity the game. Six days of war crimes.

8:10 please court martial his ass for that 😂
I have PTSD just watching this... when will the shelling end?

Are there some difficulty settings ? ...for people playing a "solo" ?
What is the name of this game? I never heard it said.
people dying around them and they laughing 😂
What suprise you man they did it in a real life and killed a lot of civilians
