    Great video, with good analysis. One nitpick ► your description is inaccurate; J Fields was not the "formal overall #1 pick" (Trevor Lawrence was the overall #1 pick, JF was drafted #11 overall in the 2021 draft.) Overall your video was great,
    I'm a Commanders fan and I was thinking they should pass on picking a QB at #2 (assuming GM & HC aren't in love with either of the prospects available), send the Bears 3rd + 5th round picks for Fields, then trade down from #2 overall for a top 5 or 6 overall pick plus some additional draft capital. (Best case scenario → net a few picks and still pick up a generational talent like M. Harrison Jr., Worst care scenario → pick up even more picks drop down a little further in the draft, but still swap for a high enough overall pick to draft one of the 2 projected lock-down LT's).
    Build the talent, keep team salary relatively low, and if Field isn't the answer then in a couple of years they get a veteran QB in Free Agency to plug into a quality team (e.g -2023 Jets- 2020 Bucs plan) and make a push for the championship.
    After watching your video, you convinced me that this just isn't the way to go, and I can't give you a better compliment then acknowledging that you changed my mind

      Fixed it! Loved this comment. I lived in in Capital Heights and spent time near the Hill. Love the Washington fans.
      I'm glad to give you a new vantage point.
      I'd much rather roll the dice with Daniels or Maye over rebuilding with Fields if I was Washington. I still think Fields can play, but sitting a year would do him some good

    if im chicago im trading both fields and the number one overall pick. load up on assets gets multiple first rounders for the first pick and get a 2nd or 3rd for fields. draft an oline and go get a wide receiver and qb in free agency. imagine getting mike evans and mayfeild to come join with multiple first round picks over the next two seasons. essentially replacing the first overall pick and justin fields with a better quarterback, mike evans, and multiple linemen. it doesnt have to be baker and evans it could be any of the available quarterback-wide receiver combos. more expensive but more proven.

    He just throws too many picks and fumbles way too much for any team to hope to win with him. His interview where he got frustrated about having "too much information" was also telling. You really think Pat has "too much information" to play correctly? The truth of that statement is that the NFL confuses him. Modern NFL defenses are too smart to just waltz in there and hope to get away with it or play street ball. Part of the reason he hasn't developed is because he can't figure out the defenses TO develop. Look how quickly Purdy has grasped NFL offenses and NFL defenses. Look at Stroud. Jordan Love... Hell name any QB not named Kyler or Zach Wilson and you'll see them in the books studying and learning.

      Well to defend Justin....Purdy, Love and Stround all have coaches from the Shanahan tree. They scheme things open unlike any other.
      I do agree all three are better players at this point

      Ehhhh...maybe? Which part of this analysis do you disagree with?

    • @travisoshea
      @travisoshea 3 месяца назад

      @@PowerHourNFL maybe? First, it’s hard to be 100% sure what Fields is being told to look for in the meetings.
      Second, from the broadcast view you cannot see the whole concepts and where Fields eyes are going.

    • @travisoshea
      @travisoshea 3 месяца назад

      @@PowerHourNFLwell, on the Claypool TD he runs a post not a corner post and the concept is a post wheel.
      #1 post #2 wheel
      Claypool presnap is a the top of the numbers, DB is 10-12 yrds off. He has to stem to the bottom of the numbers to get leverage on the DB. He give a hard step at the top of his route and gets to the inside.
      Secondly, we do not know 100% what Fields is being told in the meeting rooms throughout the week and you cannot see the whole consort and coverage on the broadcast views

      @@travisoshea I mention in every single video I am not in the meeting room and idk what's being taught. But that's ok. This end zone shot however does show pretty much everything that's happening to that side of the field.

    I wouldn't want this guy on my team. He's too diffident. Nothing under the jersey that ticks hard enough to win consistently. He acts like he doesn't care.
