For someone who has been shooting skeet for about fifty years, this video has been very helpful and informative. Great job by everyone involved. Many thanks 🙏.
I have found the lead to be 3 1/2 to 4 ft on station 4 and at our range the brides tend to be slightly slower than other ranges !…. Thanks for the tips !
It is "helpful for [US] novices" but I'd love to see the double on station #4 included for those of us that shoot in England. Any chance of adding it in? Regardless, thanks for the video which is useful
Thank you for your comment Garett :) We produced this series to see if they would be helpful for people and receive feedback, so I'm sorry that we did not do every station right away. We plan on going back to do Stations 3, 5, and 8 in the near future. Thanks again for your feedback!
Hi Ken, that's a good question. The set up and foot positioning is the exact same for both right-handed and left-handed shooters. Start with your hips facing the low house and a hold-point about 1/3 the distance to the center stake. The tendency for right-handed shooters is to rock back onto their right foot on this station, then the opposite is true of lefties. Make sure your weight does not rock into the heel of your left foot. It should be evenly distributed even after your follow-through. I hope this helps, but please let me know if you have any questions, thank you. - Emily
Thanks again. Curious as to why you have bypassed station three as I haven't seen a video clip for it. Also interested to know where these clips have been filmed.
Hi Paul, thank you for your comment. We are located in South Florida and record all of these at a club called "South Florida Shooting Club" in Stuart, Florida :). It's a beautiful location if you ever get to visit. We launched this Skeet Series with the four end stations (Stations 1, 2, 4 and 6) and one middle station (Station 4). I (Emily) produced this series to see if they would be helpful for people. I never expected such a positive feedback, so I'm sorry that I did not do every station right away. I plan on going back to do Stations 3, 5, and 8 in the near future. I am hoping to produce the equivalent for trap videos with Harlan Campbell too. Thanks again! - Emily
Hi guy's, went out today cold & very wet, all went very good when i trusted my instinct in leading the clay, only shot station 4 because of the weather, didn't leave until i got 25 out of 25. Looking forward to some warm & dry weather. Thanks again for another great video
You are like our guinea-pig shooter for every videos - I love it! Congrats on the 25/25. It's a helpful video, but we can't take all the credit - you must be a great shot too.
Hi guy's, not a great shot all the time, the videos have really helped, to get the 25 out of 25 took a long time and severl cartridges, now getting confident and trusting my instincts more. 😊😊
Hi Les, thank you for your comment. Station 4 consists of a single high, then single low house clay. We do not shoot a pair on Station 4 - only on stations 1, 2, 6, and 7. Does this differ where you are from?
@@bradenmontgomery8476 - Very interesting, I did not know that. I just Googled it to read more about it (www.bictsf.com/page/a-beginner-s-guide-to-olympic-skeet/39/). We'll have to post a video with the English sequence. I'll try to get this in December for you both.
ShotKam hi a year ago I asked about doubles on station 4. Your response was I'll try to get one done by December. Hope to see one soon.keep up the good work.
Hi Ayman, we will be doing International Skeet and can certainly include the left-hander tips in all future videos. I'm sorry that we missed that on these videos. Thank you for your feedback and comments - I really appreciate it. Our next video series will be Trap shooting, then Sporting Clays, then International Skeet. Best regards from the ShotKam Team :) - Emily

Extremely helpful for us novices.
Thank You.

@shotkam Curious to know where I can find the video for station 3? Thanks, This whole series is great!

@@Shotkam based on my more recent outing, a step by step for station 8 would be MOST useful lol. Y'all do great work! Keep it up.
Are there separate videos for Stations 3, 5, and 8?

English skeet shoots single and doubles on station 4 and they don't shoot station 8....@@Shotkam

my coach says put most of your weight on front foot
Interesting tips, but why don't you shoot offhand? As far as I know, one shoots skeet offhand in the Olympic rules.
This is not Olympic skeet.
I don't think so.
Move from the hips. Not the waist.
