Thank you for this video! I bought a universal cleaning kit and need to do a deep clean on my GSG-16 (probably around 800 rounds put through) and my pump action. Question: whats that neat looking cleaning mat you're working over?
Awesome - glad it was helpful! The cleaning mat you can find on Amazon and other sites. They’re exploded diagrams of guns to give you a visual reference where things go. I’ve seen all sorts of options AR, MP5, Glock, and other makes & models. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Great question - everyone has different methods to their process. I’ve heard of some putting them in the clothes washer with other rags, dish soap & water, others use a degreaser, etc. Me personally would prefer to use dish soap & water, then let them dry before reuse. That being said there are different quality mops, some may come apart more easily than others. Generally though handwashing them with dish soap should be the least abrasive method. I hope this helps - thanks for the question and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
What's your favorite kit to use when cleaning your gun? Do you use universal or gun/caliber specific cleaning kits?
Good video, thanks for taking the time.
Absolutely - I appreciate the kind words and hope to see you around the channel. Thanks for the comment, be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
