I wonder how this compares to yhe johnny glocks modified factory trigger shoes for $30
Worth a shot, I haven’t explored the Johnny Glocks stuff as of yet. I’m interested too, lol.
Is it a FA carrier?
To my understanding the factory carrier on these guns is not FA, that being said if you have your FFL/SOT, then modifications can be made (legally) and or parts swapped to accomplish the task. Hope this helps, thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I have an Overwatch Precision Poly DAT and it has inadvertently went “binary” (shooting once on the pull and once on the reset) 10ish times. Cool and all, but not when you aren’t expecting it.
I hear you on that, sounds like an issue with the disconnector and or sear engagement. I’d probably reach out to overwatch and get some insight from them. Hopefully they can help resolve the issue!
I need a 4 lb single-stroke trigger for defense that is reliable, durable and resistant. Is this a good option or do you recommend another one? thanks for the time I subscribe Greetings from Spain. ❤
Hello and welcome! That’s a good question - typically for defense weapons, many folks are going to stick with a factory trigger or something similar(milspec). Mainly due to the trigger pull weights and requirements by their department or branch of service (military). Something also to consider is the fight or flight response, which could unintentionally cause you to trip the trigger with a lighter pull weight in a stressful situation. That being said I generally prefer for duty weapons for the trigger pull to be around 6lbs. For mil-spec style but upgraded you may consider the ALG ACT OR ALG QMS, which are doing to be around 6lbs for trigger pull. If you’re adamant about having a lower trigger pull then consider the Wilson Combat TTU or Larue Tactical MBT2S. I hope this helps point you in the right direction, thanks for the question and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I bought one for my 556 16" won't go back far enough to load the next round. I just ordered a new one with a lower weight. Hopefully that'll fix it.
Some of it will be trail and error to match up with your rifle, hopefully the lighter weight option will work. Keep me posted on it!
Hows it held up in terms of reliability? I have an Omega 36m that I am swapping between a 14.5 mid length 556 and a 10" 300blk, I already purchased one because I'm always on the hunt for improvement, for now I am using a h2 in both rifles with good reliability but but wonder how yours experiences are going with this. Thanks!
I’ve only had a positive experience running it both suppressed and unsuppressed in my PSA AR. I’m using a YHM Turbo on a .223/5.56. Generally I’ll report back after further testing with positive or negative feedback. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
In the future you should put a link to the part
I’d love to, sadly YT will shutoff comments when I link things, I don’t want them taking further action beyond that either.
Where do you mount your bipod?
Is that a PSA DAGGER MICRO 9MM PISTOL - SHIELD CUT W/ HOLOSUN 407K, SNIPER GREEN SLIDE, 2-TONE? I'm curios because it almost looks like a Glock 43X.
It is a PSA micro dagger - the model is the extreme carry aka the standard version, which is modeled after the g43x. You’ve nailed it haha. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸 Essentially the same gun as the PSA bundle you mentioned, although mine has an eps carry and upgraded trigger. I started with the optics cut pistol (no bundle) and added my own accessories.
@@VPTACTICAL Thank you for the information. I really enjoyed the video. And love the look of that PSA Dagger. I will have to company the dimensions of the Dagger with the G43X. Great video. I'm curious. What accessories did you add, in addition to the Holosun EPS Carry?
@psledoux Thank you! I added CMC baseplates to the magazines and a tactical pontoon trigger upgrade. The micro dagger and g43x are very comparable in terms of dimensions etc.
Nice review. Just ordered this in green dot version for their black friday deal on amazon for 165. As others have said, if I had to spend any more, id maybe save for a 407 or 507, but at the price I got it, I feel thats fair for an up and coming optic. Time will tell if this will be as reliable as a holosun and worthy of being on my edc.
Thanks man and I appreciate the feedback, I also remember a time when a lot of folks were against Holosun and they’re considered a viable option now. I think once the company has proven itself then it’s a different story. Like you said time will tell! I appreciate the comment and feedback, hope to see you around the channel. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
It's an iPhone, that's why it won't show anything clear. Lmfao
lol - weird thing is it’s only the dots on the optic it won’t pick up haha. Go figure!
Great video. Keep it up bro!
@@Flummer99 Much appreciated, thank you!! I hope to see you around the channel more often 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
The cell phone db meter is pointless. a ar is like 170db ish and the phone always shows about 120 . If its not accurate ya cant say well it gives you a idea of how loud . A 22lr is over 120 db . My car stereo was 145 .7 and it didnt have anything on a 12ga or ar or 9mm.
You’re not wrong, working with what I had at the time. Besides getting an accurate reading indoors with a bunch of other people shooting is going to be a challenge . Thanks for the feedback!
@VPTACTICAL i want some 223 that are quiet enough to not need ear protection without a supressor does that exist
Aside from a pellet or bb-gun, no real firearm that I’m aware of is hearing safe without a suppressor, regardless of super or subsonic rounds fired. There may be one off products that could potentially do that, however, nothing that I’d trust my hearing with personally.
@VPTACTICAL if it soundes like 22lr ish or 410 . Id be happy. Not because of protection ill wear that . Just trying to not piss neighbors off . 22 and 410 are not near as loud as my 9mm or 223 or 12ga 22 makes a quiet shell that sounds like a pellet gun just looking for the equivalent in 9 mm and 223. I know they wont sound like a pellet gun . 120-130 db would be good but not the 150db and up regular shells.
@VPTACTICAL CCI makes a 22LR quiet just wondering if there's the same idea as that with 9 mm and 223 I know they probably won't cycle to semi-automatic but that's fine
The 510c. Do you get 100% co witness to ur ar iron sights?? Or do have to get a riser?? Thx
I’m running this on a Stribog SP9A1 and it does not co-witness. I’d imagine it would be possible with an AR front post, unless you have back up sights. That being said I cannot confirm it’ll cowitness on the AR platform because I haven’t tried it. I might suggest checking out Reddit or AR forums. Hope this helps point you in the right direction. Thanks for the question and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.

What mag well is that? Is looks very nice
Thanks! That’s from ggmagwells aka gritgrips, they use to make them in polymer and now it’s aluminum. Still around the same 30-40/unit, however, they have a multitude of colors to choose from. Hope this helps 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I got one brand new for $160 shipped off an auction
Great grab! Hard to beat for that price. How’s it held up thus far?
@@VPTACTICAL so far I haven't taken it out for testing. But yea I offered the guy $140 and the rest was taxes and shipping cost. I was super happy. I was gonna pay full price but I decided to watch it on eBay. So I definitely recommend that for people trying to save money. My wife also bought me a nice Olight pl3 in fde as a gift for $60 shipped from eBay. So deals are definitely out there. Anyway I picked it because I had seen plenty of reviews on it. So I'm putting faith in it lol. Hopefully it lives up like lots of people's samples did.
@MrYogitron92 Thanks for the feedback - sounds like you got a solid deal. That’s awesome that she buys you gun gear! Hopefully it holds up to years of use, best of luck. I appreciate you being part of the squad, be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.

@MrYogitron92 I’m glad you found it, hope to see you around and I appreciate the kind words. More fun stuff on the horizon ✌🏻
What sights are those
Good question - I put those on awhile back, they are the MEPRO Llight Tru-dot night sights. Relatively inexpensive, I recall them being less than 80. Hope this helps, thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
@@VPTACTICALthanks much
@joekelly4 You got it 👊🏻👊🏻
Is this something you’d try out? Why or why not…
Can't see spending that much on Cylee when a 507k Gr is $271.99 at PSA with free shipping.
Not going to disagree with you - $70-80 difference, go with what you know and trust. For those that are on a tight budget this might be a solution. Thanks for the feedback - I appreciate you dropping a comment and for being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Love the color combo on the gun, looks sweet!
Thank you - I really like it as well. The sniper green and black really goes well together!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
I just picked up the cat0 green for my hellcat pro , nice crisp dot love it
Awesome, I appreciate the feedback! I haven’t gotten my hands on a hellcat yet, how do you like it thus far?
How is it? I’m looking at getting one like today
@whiterabbit2189 So far so good, I’ve got about 150 rounds through it at this point. Quality seems to be solid, just can’t speak to longevity just yet. Lots of folks swear by them. The Pro series is the beefier version, should withstand a lot more punishment. Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Will that magwell on the compact slide fit on the full size slide?
Great question - they are not cross compatible, however, Grit grips makes a dagger full size s version. They also make one for the micro dagger in addition to the compact. Thanks for the question, I hope this helps! I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
FYI - Apex does have a disclosure on their website that this product is not recommended for "Aftermarket Frames", at one point they stated it hasn't been tested in the PSA Dagger. This is one of those items that may require some fitment/adjustment on your end IF you run into issues. Alternatively you could always bring it to a qualified gunsmith.
I forgot to point out: HK's attention to detail and fact that they put ambi. controls on the pistol for the magazine release & slide lock. Awesome!
I Don’t recommend knocking out trigger pins. Just replace & upgrade to a Glock 43x trigger housing & upgrade that “smith & Wesson” trigger housing & Ghost connector to Apecx, or Agency Arms trigger.
It was a learning point - thanks for the feedback. I’ll check out the gear you suggested, thank you!
…” Tough Love” taps.
Haha you’re not wrong!
I ONLY Trust Hlock Factory springs in my gum, and factory striker replacement in ALLoc my Daggers. There have been a lot of problems with Daggers Strikers , even known to break or out of specs.
I hear you - I know it was an issue in the past with the first batch/runs, seems like most of those issues have been cleared up. At least to my knowledge anyhow, although I have heard from folks preemptively changing some of those parts out for Glock OEM.
Thanks for this! I’m a new MP5 owner and was dreading breaking this down. Now I feel confident I can clean my gun!
Awesome man - glad I could help! We all have to start somewhere, thanks for the feedback. I appreciate you for being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸. P.S. - did you get a full size or one of the smaller variants?
Just added the Armaspec SRS (C) to my 556 M&P 15 OR and I absolutely love it, less noise my electronic earmuffs have to block out. After years in the military it’s nice to shoot all day and not have to listen to that twang after the shot. You’ll like it.
Absolutely - makes a difference, glad I’m not the only one where the twang drives them nuts. Happy it’s worked out for you, thanks for the feedback and comment. I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Prolly remigntons shit finish never had issues with rust with houge 😊
Do you think this would be a good fit for a DEagle?
This could very well work on a Deagle, it’s a bit chunky but so is the gun itself. If you’re talking the 50AE that is… the 510c was designed according to the manufacturer for long guns. Thus, it shouldn’t be a problem to run it on a heavy hitting caliber. I’d check out the dimensions of it and compare to your pistol, see if you like the fitment. I googled it just for kicks and someone else has done it before. I might suggest a quick internet search, looks like he was on Reddit. Just my .02… thanks for the comment. The Deagle is a sweet gun btw! Thanks for the comment and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
@VPTACTICAL thanks man
For sure man, best of luck 👍🏻
@VPTACTICAL looks like the 1 on reddit is a smaller red dot but I got the SS L6 so it should be good, i think I'm gonna get it, Midway USA starts their sale on the 25th
@kliflord1527 Nice! Don’t forget to check gun.deals, and the big name sites.
YHM says it’s a PCC can. Just say’n yes you can use it as a multi can, however you loose suppression. That’s a flaw new owners don’t get, they just want “value”
I don’t disagree - its primary hosts are PCC’s, I’ve ran it on pistols and it’s a bit chunky. Personally I’d rather get a dedicated can for my 9mm and 45ACP. I haven’t had the opportunity to test it yet on my rifles, Although I’m sure it’d be better than having just a traditional flash hider or comp. I understand where you’re going with it - one size fits all doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll do a great job on every host and there may be drawbacks. Versus having a dedicated can for each class - pistol, pcc, rifle, etc. Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I like that the Compacts take the g19 mags. But, I’m not a big fan of that huge, flared mag well. I should look at the dagger micro closer, it looks like what I want sans glock 19 mags. The Compact has had some smoking deals this year though.
@@jim3922 They both have their pros and cons, I get it the magwell is not for everyone. You still get 15 rounds on the micro along with a slimmer profile. Compact similar round count, larger frame and less recoil. You’re not kidding - PSA runs some crazy deals, I follow those daily deal emails and have picked up a few new guns off that. Thanks for the feedback and comment, I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice!!
Thank you! Midwest Indust. makes a solid product, glad I got my hands on one. Hopefully I can snag a rail from them for my AP5/MP5.
Definitely can see a difference when you cheap out on quality.
100% buy once cry once!
I purchased the Amazon mount that is identical to the Midwest mount. Sits exactly the same holds 0 and is half the price.
@Mateohus Thanks for the feedback, guess it’s hit or miss on some brands then. Mine was a miss lol, it was way off center and canted. I tried so many different ways to get it to work, no such luck!
Awesome video!
Thank you sir!!
Can you do a follow up review after a few hundred rounds to show it stays in place?
Wondering if it stays in place well enough to keep the same zero on target
I think I can make that happen, that’s a great idea. Much appreciated 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@CamCantThat’s the whole idea, the qd system locks up really solid. Gives me a lot of confidence vs. the cheaper model!
I wanted to clarify some of my comments - as I mentioned this is a budget hunting rifle, however, some of the options that you choose will dictate accuracy. My particular rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and has a 22" barrel - you can find them in 20" or 22." There are also models available to get a "heavy barrel," mine is a sporter which given their thinner profile will heat up quicker. Thus, it'll degrade accuracy due to it getting heat soaked. The heavy barrels come in either standard or threaded. I feel one of the limitations to this particular rifle was the scope, with a 4-12 I'd bet that those groups would tighten right up. Also keep in mind I never adjusted the trigger, I left it at the factory setting of 6.5lbs and lowering that could also contribute to better shots. All in all - its hard to beat for what you get.
Do they have any plus base plates for the micro magazines?
Looks like they’ve made one, however, it’s not been released yet. It is up on their website if you were to look, you can see it on the front page. It’s a +2 for the micro dagger. Thanks for the question! 🤙🏻🤙🏻
@ thanks
@ You got it! Rest assured I’m waiting for that to come out as well lol.
I bought the the 6 5 axis 1 without the acutrigger as my first deer rifle at a pawn shop it was on sale on account of being left handed and the older model......put a cheap 40 bsa scope bought at the same pawn shop i took a couple loops off the trigger spring .and painted the stock ...I have many more rifles now and this rifle still groups better then any rifle I have. I donno I really wanted to gift this thing to my brother or something but it clover leaves 125 win super x at 100. I can't get rid of it ...but honestly it get more accurate the more rounds I out thro it and the more times I take off the stock to mess with it
Awesome - I’m glad this one worked out for you! Sounds like you found a winner haha, funny how you find something like that and yet it still kicks butt. If I was you I’d hang on to it as well! I’m going to try and adjust the trigger down on mine, see if that helps tighten things up a bit. I never messed with the factory setting, still at 6.5lbs. I appreciate the comment and feedback, hope to see you around the channel more often. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
This could be a decent choice for larger game! I like the fact that you can get this rifle in different calibers. Nice review!
Absolutely - a lot of rifle for the money that’s for sure. I appreciate the fact that you have numerous caliber options among other features. Thanks for the comment 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Everytime I think you can't find a cooler one, you do! Pew pew!
Thanks man! This one is a heck of a bargain, especially if you like to hunt. I appreciate the comment, 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Another great review, as always!
Much appreciated good sir, thank you!! 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
It appears that you still have the apex tactical polymer trigger kit on your dagger. After firing a lot of rounds through it, are you still finding it to function just fine? I have seen how some people say it fits great and they praise it whereas some people say that it doesn't fit or that it won't reset, or even that it will reset when dry firing but not when actually live firing. I am just curious how your experience with the apex trigger has been with your dagger after putting some time at the range with it, I just ordered one so I have high hopes that it will function well in my dagger. Anywho great video, I love your channel. Keep up the good work, thanks!
You're absolutely right I do in fact still have the apex tactical poly trigger and it hasn't left my dagger since I installed it. The trigger works great for me, no issues whatsoever. Now that being said there's always the possibility of tolerance stacking between batches. The idea that some pistols may have tighter or looser tolerances, than a batch before or after it. That could be a potential issue for some, others it could be related to their install proficiency. Apex even states on their website that this product has not been tested in the Dagger: thus, they don't support it and either won't return it or will charge you a restocking fee. Just some things to be aware of prior to you getting it. I hope that it works smoothly for you and that you don't have any issues. I would recommend watching Apex's install video, that's what I followed just to make sure that I covered all my bases. I appreciate the kind words and hope to see you around the channel more often. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
Got one for my P10C for like $51, having it open ended for a suppressor is nice because it also fits my P10F! Super happy with this thing
Glad to hear! I’m in a similar boat, running a threaded barrel and possibly a comp soon. I like the fact that they’re open ended, it’s the little touches. Plus it feels like a quality product, I’ve had others that felt cheap. Thanks for the feedback and I appreciate you being part of the squad. Be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸.
I haven't seen all the different parts but can you tell me what's different about the BCG because I'm thinking about building a 6.5 grendel..
That’s a good question - the Bcg isn’t overly special, aside from the fact that it has a hole on the side that the side charging “handle” screws into. If you also look at the receiver it has a special cutout for the charging handle to ride along, a much longer cut than a traditional rear charging rifle. Thus, if you plan to do a side charging setup, you’ll want to find an upper and Bcg combo that’s matched together. I hope this helps, thanks for the question. I appreciate you being part of the squad - be safe and stay vigilant 🤙🏻🤙🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸. P.S.- the side charging handle is reciprocating, due to it being directly attached to the Bcg. Something to be aware of..
Where is this one available?
I found it on Amazon, if you search Holosun 510c kill flash it’ll pop up. Right around 36-37. I can’t link it otherwise YT will start shutting off my comment sections. It’s happened before, lol.
