At 14:03 with Hatchet you had a Push at the end of your movement and pushed the Zealot into the rough terrain when you could have pushed them into the trap for 3 damage. You have control of the direction of Push attacks as long as it's away.
Yes! Your teaching me how to play this game. I played only for a few minutes because I kept on getting interrupted by family members. Definitely want to revisit and play undisturbed. Thanks for the video!
@Mr. A Lee I'll give you 5 lessons, and after that let me know if I taught you well enough to survive through the rest of the campaign. :) It is a "thinky" dungeon crawl, so I know what you mean about distractions. I get distracted all the time while recording. Makes for "fun" editing. :D
Regarding the helm usage, the answer is 1: You forgot. The helm is a passive affect and comes into play each time a x2 is drawn. Otherwise good playthrough and nice explanation of the rules.
Hi Dale, question cause I also just played this scenario: at 09:59 why didn’t the viper move closer? Its already inside the zone so movement takes only 1, doesn’t it? Only entering this zone requires 2. so it should have moved closer?
@@DaletheCasualGamer It was a mistake on my side, wasnt meant to critize you. In the rules it was a bit unclear... But moving inside that zone also costs 2 movement, you were right. Youre playthroughs are great, love them. Keep them comin'! ;-) Greetings from Germany.
At 9:25 wouldn't the helm change the x2 to +0 or is there a cost to using it? Am tempted to buy this after watching your play throughs but also considering whether to get full Gloomhaven instead (double the price but more content). Had planned to back Frosthaven but missed the pledge deadline by one day which instantly raised the price by $36, pretty harsh (effectively +25%).
@forbode You are correct. Two reasons I may have done that, 1. I forgot (very likely) 2. sometimes I'll keep cards like that for when a killing blow has just been done. Have fun with whichever version you get, and thanks for watching! :)
I just realized I've been collecting treasures wrong. Thought you got the item with the same number 🤦♂️Just finished scenario 3. So much for my iron spear 😢
Played through this scenario on tabletop awhile back so I didn’t recall much of it. I’m on it now on digital and wow it’s horseshit. 4 enemies in the first room now, with an elite and “hound” for 2 players.
Am I wrong or at 8:50 you did something, you shouldn't do. I mean, at first you used your bottom action and could move up to 4 hexes (you opened the first door) and then you also used the bottom action, to loot coins. That shouldn't have been done i guess 🤔

@Todd Sedlak Thanks for watching and the insight! :)

Thanks again, watched the first three scenarios with you, I now feel confident in shepherding my game this upcoming weekend, thank you! Subbed!
@GatorSixCharlie Good luck in your game, and thanks! :)
Like it man. Pretty easy game to learn, but wife and mom have a rough time. This made it easier for me to explain. Subbed!
@Justin Archer Glad you've got the family gaming!! Have fun! :)

@Tom Zsolt Thanks for the answer! :)

Thanks for watching! I no longer own the game to check the rules ... but I know I'm not perfect.

When taking your actions. Do you have to use a top & bottom effect? Or can I use the bottom on both of my cards?
@Daniel Craig You need to use the top from one card and the bottom of the other.
Or visa versa
at. 22:22 you could have picked up the coin on the other side

Good catch! Busted down the door, and got greedy. Thanks for watching!
