The Keeper of the Flame was shelved due to the war. The first time I saw it was last year. It's interesting to note that what they discuss in the last 20 minutes is what we are experiencing today.

It seems the battle against fascism never ends.

Yes, the Biden/Harris administration and its Hollywood and Silicon Valley allies has done everything it could to suppress free speech. Three days from now, we Americans have a chance to say a firm "NO!" to the continuation of this fascism.

I'm surprised that Inherit The Wind wasn't mentioned because it was such a great film that also stared Frederick March!

Another fine presentation about another tormented soul; there seems to be a lot of them in the acting sphere. I have never been the biggest Spencer Tracy fan but one cannot deny the power of the man in many of his film roles and the range he had. I recollect 'Boys Town' as probably being the first film I ever saw him in, playing a priest when he was actually a bit of a devil, what a dichotomy. Straying off topic for a moment (sorry) I just caught your latest 'comment guidelines'. Nice... and amusing! I have been busy writing my poetry, concentrating on self creation but lovely to hear a familiar voice, again ✨

This is great! It’s so lovely to watch these episodes! I’m hoping a Kathrine Hepburn one isn’t far behind! Such a complex man. Amazing actor as well.

Another great video! One slight correction; the title of the movie wasn’t “Turkey Flat; it was “Tortilla Flat.”

This may sound trivial, but at one point you showed a picture with his signature. I found it very interesting. Good show

So, his son is deaf but it's all about him. That makes sense for someone who is a narcissist.

👍Ditto, both probably were, but it isn't that unusual, quite a few marriages have been just that, and they work things out, don't fight, and lead normal lives and raise decent kids. It's really nobody's business, but info like that in the 30s-40s even until lately would have had a negative impact on their lives as public figures and their careers, playing it straight as believable characters.... IMHO

This guy was very overrated as an actor. I never thought he was that good; I've seen better ones!🫤
