My lower back was injured again at the gym a few months ago and I allowed myself to fall back into alcohol abuse after the injury. I'm a few days sober and have wanted to start working out again. This was a great episode, and it's motivated me to get after it again. Thanks, I needed to hear this

Have truly grown to love this show. The respect for branch is so high he Is just such an awsome no bullshit. I agree with the hard work point he made like growing up working bodybuilding just seems right. And he's right you can do whatever you wanna do in life if your willing to work for it.

Branch has always been a favorite of mine. My Dad was from Great Falls Montana, I've experienced 1st hand and relate to a fair amount of what he's talking about. Pretty much everything he's talking about is applicable to all aspects of living. The more of what seems to be miserable &/or particularly difficult shit at the time, generally the better off for it you'll end up being somewhere down the road.

Bless up from Brooklyn NY 🙏 for the record Branch Warren "Wicked" beef jerkey is RIGHTEOUS, make no mistake it's L.E.G.I.T, license NYS D.E.C hunter, I take these on fishing and hunting trips,
Outstanding interview as anticipated Mr. James
After thought, early Congratulations to Mr. Dennis James for prepping Big Ramy for another successful Olympia win. Well done Sir. Big Ramy is indeed blessed to have one of "The Best To Ever Do It" in his corner,
When it comes to Gym work ethic, the young up and comers can learn allot from these 2 industry ICONS.

That's honestly just purely motivational optimism and not rooted in reality whatsoever. An 80 year old man can't become Mr Olympia no matter what price he's willing to pay. A homeless, mentally ill man can't become a billionaire no matter what price he's willing to pay. The 16yr old girl I went to high school who died because of a brain tumour couldn't stay alive, no matter the price she was willing to pay. Being willing and being able sometimes line up, but they often don't. Our material circumstances make up our boundaries. What we do within them is up to us.

55 been training and competing since I was 16. Hit my peak in size and strength around 2009 at age 43 and then it started to get harder. Still training as hard and heavy as possible but over the past two years my body just doesn't recover like it used to. Have had my share of injuries over the years but nothing major recently. Still don't want to give it up but not sure how much longer I can keep pushing the intensity.

I know what you mean I've been competing since I was 19 just turning 51 soon. Seems like 50 I went from Superman to old man overnight🤪 got pneumonia last year while taking care of my parents and then I got a DVT at the same time and I've never even used any performance enhancement!🤔

65, competing since I was 21. I can sympathize with you my brother. You can Push the intensity to a point then the injuries come and you're out of the gym. So please be careful. The older you get you have to train smarter. And spend a lot of time outside of the gym taking care of your body, massages, Active Release, stretching.

This podcast host series is gold. It could be alone perhaps. The show is the man, the background, the guest. It wouldn't jave worked without he also vice versa . Who knows. The questions are good enough. This is the good stuff. Private yet public. Not too private. Good. It's not for everyone. He a need a new following to see himself on secret plot. This other older gold is good. He is a BIG EATER. This couldn't have been better or unworse so all right yet his support will be there for he. The platform setup eh okay I get ya. Job fare is that thing. "Branch Warren"?.* ?,... this podcast needs a dual show with he, the host alone them two on a show. Wow. He is a very big deal. Ask A.S., not the 70s version of the bodybuilder. That isn't available. Ask him in person...he may not want to be unpart of that world. Its that good. Wow. Boofy soof wave fan fah Fiyah.

With all due respect to Denis. His injury was much different. He was wiping, obviously the tendon was compromised. Branch falling could’ve tore a healthy tendon. Unlike working out you aren’t warmed up etc. Aslo falling at a weight of 270 which will accelerate an generate a lot of instant force on a non warmed up muscle/joint that can be at a non-mechanically advantageous position. It seems that he wasn’t understanding this.

It's a scientific fact teeth many studies to prove branch correct, they've do w studies when a left arm is in a cast of you workout the right arm the left arm with lose less muscle. Not only that if you were to workout your right arm the left arm would still grow alil bit also, not as much as the right of course. It it will grow somewhat. So branch is correct in that one. They have some scientific term for it but I cant remember of top of my head

Human body not design to be monster size naturally.. it has it's limits.. why all these bodybuilders snapping tendons is because steroids weakens connective tissues like ligaments and tendons because muscles on pharmacology grows in rapid size and tendons are suffering to keep up with the sudden overwhelming growth hence all these injuries occurs
