yo dj, my girlfriend is a eye doctor (optometrist) or something like that lol, she said floaters are usually caused by a injury or just the pressure, said she sees it a lot when people are getting glaucoma, and that the head aches are ocular migraine, , and you probably have (pvd)she saved my bosses eye cause he saw sparks and flashes in his eye, turned out he had a partial tear in his retina, and was gonna lose his eye sight if he hadn’t gone and get it fixed Keep up the good videos!
Hey bro, my dad has the same issue but they said they cannot stop the black floaters and blurry vision at times. They said about the pressure and laserd his eye but was wondering what your gf would recommend. I'm from the UK btw
Excellent podcast and guests so far! Keep up the great work. I love listening and look forward to every episode. You dig deep and ask questions that gets us fans and fellow competitors to get to see another side of the guys and gals of the sport in which we never otherwise would gave been able to hear and appreciate.
I just recovered from Central serous retinopathy disease. Maybe? Basically a leak creating a water bubble in the back of the eye, like water on the knee. Mine was in the right location to put pressure on my retina losing my vision for a couple of months and then very distorted vision for a couple of more months until we treated with laser therapy to eliminate the leak. This is a stress-induced disease in type A personalities, male-only. Mine was triggered by poor sleep when slumlord changed my past apartment allowing dogs in the building. Non stop dog barking all night barking every 10 seconds until owner came home, gone from 4pm-7am. Nightmare that turned into a super positive outcome, better place to live now and kicking ass with my work, kinda like your doing with your podcast. Good luck with that DJ! -Jeremy
In cinema theory, they have analyzed how the darkening of the lights creates the simulation of a dream, and is part of the suspension of disbelief, why an audience experiences the events in a movie intensely despite knowing they are not real. It also creates a sense of excitement to know the main event is coming. That is why you will notice the lights for the previews at a theater will get even darker when the actual film starts. If you got in all your sponsorship stuff and promos and THEN have the background slowly go pitch black before the actual athletes entrance, it will bring the audience into the dream like wonder of the event on a psychological level, while allowing the judges to see the athletes clearly. Then just have the athletes properly lit without any other visual noise.
Looking back, i cant even hate on phil for the gut thing because it was medical, and he SIrepped and came back. So good for him. Even though im not that big of a fan.
Throughout the years I generally got checked at least once or twice.however there was a flaw of how I was doing it and I'm sure most guys are like this. It's when I came off or I was on a cruise for several weeks and of course my labs are going to look great. So I started getting three full panels doneevery year and to see the fluctuation and what damage I'm literally doing on the cholesterol and hematocrit and everything like that wouldn't on a cycle and I've never been one to use a substantial amount. Maybe like five hundred tests and 300 Decca or something maybe an oral. But just that my hematocrit and LDLis a little well it's out of range. And then blood pressure never been an issue but now I'm 40 and it's an issue. So at least when you get your labs done when you're on you no say if your blood pressure is ridiculously high or hematocrit you know you should get a phlebotomy or donate blood more frequent and also use like an Ace inhibitor.combination of both obviously it would be awesome for blood pressure and we all know now that blood pressure is the kidney killer. Even really thick blood it's like putting chocolate syrup puree coffee filter LOL.if I would have never started doing that I would have just been doing my labs when I was off and they look good so that validated everything for the rest of the year for me like I'm healthy LOL. and what if you guys mentioned it right at the end there. And King kamali said this several years ago on rxmuscle I believe.smart bodybuilder won't be a great bodybuilder. And what he meant by that is somebody that uses these hormones and compounds at high dosages and they know how it affects the body and what the negative side effects are. They're less susceptible or chances of them pushing dosages drastically decreases. Because they know the damage. However they dumb bodybuilder and he doesn't mean like dumb retarded or anyting but I kind of like you don't want to know out of sight out of mind. I make jokes and say thata duck in myself have similarities. On the surface we look good and great and calm. But underneath or inside it's chaos or the duck paddling like hell
Have a head MRI. My daughter had an arteriovenous fistula that was causing high intracranial pressure that was initially discovered through an eye checkup.
I have that 3 years back Glaucoma is probably what u have. Is a very easy procedure. The eye pressure supposed to be 20 my went to 60 and was hurting so much I was feeling like vomiting.
Phil Heath is the best bodybuilder to ever live. The best body of all time. 2010 Arnold prejudging, I will put him up against anyone future or past bodybuilder. Bring it!
Eye inflammation happens every few years if i eat rapseed oil mixed with flour, like in a madeira cake or stuff like that. Those bad oils are toxic, our immune system attacks them, but if they go in the eye... Doctors told me they don't know the cause of eye inflammation. Ok...I know it. At least for me. I figure it out.
I think unfortunately a conventional medical checkup won't suffice. A regular doctor will check your arteries, plaque, arrithmias and stuff, but they don't check for inflammation, metabolic syndrome and other more 'silent' chronic stuff. And unfortunately it's more related to the food and the amount of food than to the drugs. Just look at what happened to John meadows (R.I.P my favorite bodybuilder). He went to the doctor frequently, he had his heart checked, he was taking his blood thinners, and died anyways. The real problem is the food
Dennis i believe you have increased intraocular pressure in eyes. Take glycerine diluted with water. Also marijuana also helps in decreasing intra ocular pressure. ........................ Yours Sincerely Dr. Vishnu Thampan
What the heck Dennis? He picks the less than 1% with the most gifted genetics in the world and make something out of them. Dexter Jackson could have had a blind man training him and diet. People are scams. You know it. Where was his x34 super workout before fatigue of the muscle oh such a fascinating thought.

Dennis isn't his coach, he said it himself (after the loss lol).
Thanks Dennis! Hany is a wealth of knowledge…
it’s too bad he won’t talk about anabolics more especially since he has a podcast called “The Truth”.

I love you guys
ProCreator 👑
Ramy didn’t train until July before the Olympia that’s just nuts!
Thanks
Excellent interview and very respectful to each other. I would like to see DJ talk less and allow the guests to speak more.
I hope you are ok, Dennis!!!
Both denis and hany forgot that phil's first title win was in 2011

The problem with brandon is his quads from hip to knee are very short. And his upper body is so freaking bubbly that it just overpowers his quads
How do you get a swollen retina? Shit it seems like when you get past 40 your body starts hating you
I have that 3 years back

We have the best eye specialists in Egypt. You could have asked Google, you missed the opportunity when you were in Egypt
Phil won his first Mr Olympia in 2011 not 2010
Dudes corny as hell trying to hold his watch in the video lol
So is ur music
@@BW.trading1 you’re correct
So nobody's thinking about @FlexLewis. 🤔
Phil didn’t win the Olympia in 2010…
I apologize I got the year mixed up.He won his first in 201. 2010 was my last Olympia. At 55 years of age it's easy to get things mixed up lol.
2011 Phil might be the best of all time
We need a battle between Ramy and hadi in arnold
No we dont

Phil did not win the Mr Olympia in 2010. It was Jay Cutler. Phil won in 2011.
dennis looks great at age 55! 😮 i'm low key mirin hard jelly 😘👍
Wished he asked about Jeremy buendia making a comeback
34:00 is what we all came for
Side effect of the vacc are similar to the eye problem you describe. Does it ring a bell?
👊🏾
Why he put the American flag ?
Ain’t he from IRAN 🇮🇷
Assuming other Americans are natives? 😂😂😂
Of course he has a flag behind him LOL

I'd take jay Ronnie Dorian any many others above Phil tbh.
Hadi was 3rd in prejudging….
Hahaha if u had prime Ronnie Coleman standing next to prime Phil heath. Ronnie would slaughter him..
Yoooo 2011 Phil win you both destroy the history hhhhhh
Am I the only one that thinks Hany seems phony?!
You don't look good Bro. Hope it's just the eye and the lighting.
Phil did not win in 2010 jay did
Glaucoma meds are low key.
I had Hadi or nick w 2nd brandons got chicken legs and hunter was not as good ...
You have a sleepy eye.Ive seen it for years.
Wouldn’t that be more of an eye lid thing? Not directly his eye? I noticed also
Phil can still finish topm3 if not win again......
Not anymore
First
When did anyone ask?
