Being 'just electronic' doesn't necessarily make it bad. An advantage is that unlike a mechanical differential it can work by preemption, meaning that it can kick in before spin occurs if the computer is smart enough to understand it's likely to happen. It can also overcompensate when one tyre begins to slip allowing for better turn-in when accelerating from a corner. Like them or not, they're very flexible. BMW uses eLSDs and I'm sure you'll agree they're very good.
S i didn’t say it’s bad, I just said that the new focus ST doesn’t have some Hardware LSD, he said in his review that the Focus ST has LSD but that’s not true , it no real LSD and I think if you could compare two cars , one with hardware lsd one with electrical fake lsd The hardware one would still be a bit better die physics
@@killingspree123 ah sorry, I didn't catch that he said mechanical LSD. But there's nothing 'fake' about an electrical LSD, it's just not controlled by physics. Both offer advantages.
It's an electronically controlled, hardware LSD by BorgWarner. Golf GTI Performance/GTI TCR, Hyundai i30N Performance and the Leon Cupra have the same.
Nice review

Great job, Paul!! Greetings from home! :)
Paul, when are you going to drive the Megane RS Trophy?
I'm picking it up on Thursday :)
@@TunedIntoCars Great. EDC or MT? I drove the manual, but there is no rev-matching.
I don't know yet but I think the manual. I'll let you know in about 2 weeks when the video is coming out

You got a new subscriber on both of your channels.
I have enjoyed it.
Are u romanian?
Judging by accent and by name he definitely is.
@@xIcarus227 me too
It needs nicer exhaust tips
Yes, totally agree
Its faster to 100 than a civic because of its power, not because of antilag.......that engine is easy 350 hp and 300 cm3 more than civic..
It's faster because of the torque, not power
@@TunedIntoCars Yes, and torque comes from cilinder capacity...
besides you calculate power using torque, right?:))))
The Focus ST doesnt have some Hardware LSD , its just electornic!
Unlike the fiesta st!

GeForceMan vag cars, what are FWD use the Haldex system for the front wheels.
The s3,golf r, rs3 use the haldex on the rear to make it AWD.
so it doesn't have auto rev match? that's bullshit.
ps... keep up the good work
Thanks! But it does have auto rev match, it's just not that pronounced.
