That's another thing he complained about because they are meant to be offered three fights a year but Dana was barely offering Francis one fight a year and he wanted fights. Dana said he couldn't Guarantee them fights so that's why he said let me have some fights outside the UFC then and Dana said no.

      Conor was the exception because Dana couldn’t deny how big fighting Floyd was at the time, Dana and UFC won’t let others do the same when they’re under contract, I’m sure if Francis had been allowed to cross over to boxing whilst still under the ufc banner he would have. The UFC like to control everything, contracts, fights, fighters pay and they keep everything in house, it’s not a case of not wanting to do it with the UFC, rather having no choice to do it without them.

      Conor held two divisions captured for two years to three because he didn't want to defend his title and other fighters couldn't get title opportunities. The Ufc just had no choice. Either Conor gets his fight or they dont get what they deserved for this time frame

    Nate made less of a mistake because he was past his prime. Francis absolutely destroyed his career. What these people don't understand is that all these lanes are open from Conor, what they don't realize is he is STILL with the ufc. Don't get it twisted, knowledge is the power and these guys are signing deals in ignorance. Use you're talent to get you to the table, use you're brain to run it when you get there. All Francis had to do was beat Jones, then say "I want to do dey boxing" and they might not have let him or maybe they would with sharing profits. Now though, the boxing promotions will eat him alive worse than Dana. Dana was the friend you gotta watch but he keeps the rest of the ones you can't see from hurting you.......back to diggin for diamonds or crawl back and work for pennies bud. Welcome to America

    The UFC allowed Conor to step outside his contract to box Floyd and earn an astronomical purse that set him up for 10 lifetimes. So not surprising HE thinks the UFC is "the pinnacle". Too bad Conor doesn't instead call the UFC out for not allowing other fighters on the roster (like Francis) to step outside THEIR contracts and box.

    He is absolutely right about Francis exploiting the UFC PI knowing that he would leave and just keeping the belt as long as possible even though Conor also took the belts as a hostage for 2 years. Getting out of contact would be wise for Conor as well since he could make 10x times more outside the UFC.

Or something like that...but i'm not buying that story because now ngannou is talking about joining One fc or PFL...even though not really any good heavyweights in this organisations bellator has the next best heavyweights next to ufc or just go to boxing since boxing has better heavyweights than ufc....It's a shame that Francis waited until Fedor retired and he left ufc when jones came back now it will look like ngannou is just scared of fedor and jones even though he's probably not scared of anyone that will just be how it looks.

    I respect what Francis did but I don’t think this boxing plan is going to go well. He’s 36. By the time this boxing stuff is over he might be 37. What MMA organization is going to want a 37yr old heavyweight? Bellator, ONE, and PFL aren’t that desperate. Connor is right. If Francis beat Jon Jones, he would’ve been able to get whatever he wanted. The UFC isn’t going to bend their knee for beating Ciryl Gane

    One aspect that people may miss in this situation is that Nganou through this training, has acquired what is imperative to level up his skills in boxing making his margin of competitiveness against Jone Jones more advantageous.

    Co man speaking in loyalty for the Co he's connected to, obviously Ngannou wasn't paid his worth, so he walked, good for him.
    Rumoured to be 10m + PPV, Ngannou earned for fighting Fury 48hrs ago, with other big boxing matches coming, says he made the perfect decision.
    UFC should've never let Ngannou go, for he is the best fighting man on the planet, Fury wouldn't last a round in the cage with him, nor would Mayweather with Mcgregor.
    Same with a street fight, for MMA fighters have just too many weapons in their Arsenal for a boxer.

    Francis was attempting to move with little to no momentum. He isn't a household enough name in order for people to get excited just by hearing it, hell, almost no one was really up in arms about seeing him leave the UFC even though he was one of the most monumental strikers the sport has ever seen. Not to mention, it's hard to see him being competitive against Deontay Wilder, the boxing equivalent of Francis who would only have the absolute advantage. At least with Mayweather and McGregor, Conor had the momentum of being double champ, his unique persona drew a lot of attention, and Mayweather was getting past his prime so there was enough of a question mark in terms of the matchup.

    There is no promotion in any combat sport that will pay Francis well enough while having a positive return of investment on him. A promotion may just pay him and incur losses just as a power play and that is about it.

    LOL easy to talk about your loyalty and love for UFC while doing damn nothing, refusing to fight, avoiding doping testing. Not even caring enough to be involved in TUF properly, although it's just a reality TV show, the thing Conor should have done effortlessly. Easy to stay loyal when you are allowed to box outside UFC while Ngannou doesn't. The best heavyweight in the world should be just thankful for a chance to train in UFC PI... what? What's next, fighting for food? Damn I love how Francis proved all the Dana's bootlickers wrong.     If there is anyone you should learn how to score big paydays and do what you want from, is conor. A flexible contract too (is what i assume francis wanted) comes with how much dough you can bring to the company. It is how things are and no way uncle fester is gonna change that.     He looks good in the gym. However, he will be going up against one of the best ever. He will be fighting a guy who has fought the best in the world. Who has never been beat and has boxed for decades. Can FN take what he is doing into the ring and beat TF? Connor M has the same chance against Floyd M. The outcome was obvious. TF will win the fight; FN will get a good payday. And me, I will not watch the fight, just to predictable. I bet on FW, and in this one TF will win.
