    Having watched Fury, Wilder and Joshua become the three headed monster over the past 3+ years, we now see that AJ was the one with the better record, was unified champion for longer, became 2 time unified champion and has actually adapted to different types of fighters, competition, tried different trainers and at this moment, he is closer to being a champion again and in his prime rather than Fury and Wilder who are really in the twilight of their careers and probably have about two MAJOR fights left between.
    It's crazy because I did not see it shaking out like this but that's what we're left with and now we see that AJ was the one with the better record, potential and pedigree all along, it was just the smoke screen of Wilder's explosive KOs (and in fairness to him, he was five years WBC champion with ten defenses although it was not the most elite competition) and bluster of Fury (who until recently had not defended the titles he won, like when he beat Wlad he struggled with success and the Wilder trilogy took something huge out of him).
    I am now interested to see if after the 2 Fury-Usyk fights and both might retire (which is possible) if AJ goes out and collects all the belts again. Good times for HW boxing in particular and boxing in general.

    Yes and my heart broke for AJ after his second defeat to Usyk. I felt his pain when that dream got shattered. He’s given everything to the sport, dragged it up from the gutter and brought the bright lights back to the game only for the sports so called experts to turn on him, and of course the really big audiences of casual fans that make up social media and the big stadium attendances. But he’s coming back and he will be three time Heavyweight Champion of the World

      @flyingfrogofdeath9616 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@KJCRYPTO yes... As a heavyweight. When we talk about "of their era" we are referring to their Division and everything they achieved in their division. Just a few years ago, before the Usyk fight, AJ had fought and beaten 8 of the current top 10 heavyweight boxers in the world, including multiple former champions. Two time world champion, demolished most competitors, fought and beaten more top 10 ranked opponents than literally any active heavyweight right now, 80%+ KO rate, Olympic champion.
      Back when AJ had fought and beaten 8 of the top ten (literally every guy other than Fury and Wilder) fury had just fought Wilder.
      So yes. Do you just not understand what the word resume means? It refers to the diggers career as a whole to current day, every fight and every accomplishment they have made in their career.

    • @lyrickoner
      @lyrickoner 5 месяцев назад

      @@flyingfrogofdeath9616Lol, So what ? AJ beat guys ranked 10th, 9th and 8th. That doesn't mean much. Quality over quantity. How can he have the best resume, when he was TKO'd by Ruiz and danced around, scared to get hit, in the rematch. And outclassed by Usyk twice in a row ? Fury, on the other hand, beat Whyte and a younger Klitscho in a more convincing manner, while KO'ing Wilder twice. Easily a better resume than AJ's.

    • @flyingfrogofdeath9616
      @flyingfrogofdeath9616 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@lyrickoner that's today's rankings, like I said, it was a few years ago and he had beaten literally 80% of the top 10 at the time - as the sitting champion!
      At that exact same time, fury had only fought Wilder - one single top 10 opponent when AJ had beaten literally every other top 10 ranked heavyweight that wasn't involved in the fury v wilder fight... And again, resume is your entire career! It's not just your last one or two fights you mug.
      Fury barely got past Klitschko, Whyte is over the hill at this point and Chisora, all due respect to him, is NOT anything close to a legitimate title challenger. In fact, before he fought fury he lost 50% of his last 15 fights... And you want to talk about "quality over quantity" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 how is defending your belts against 8 top 10 ranked opponents, including former champions, and then coming back and winning titles back in an immediate rematch (statistically very few champions have won their belts back with an immediate rematch) less impressive than fighting the same guy 3 times, beating him twice and drawing with him once, then going on to defend against a guy in Dillian Whyte who is far from his prime and a guy in Derek Chisora who had absolutely no business fighting for a world championship and had lost half of his previous 15 fights before stepping in to fight for the belt???
      that's the "quality" resume of Tyson fury is it??. How does any of that build an impressive legacy?
      So to recap, he scraped by Klitschko, didn't fight another top 10 opponent until they could build hype about the wilder fight and then he fights a middling ranked opponent in Whyte and Chisora... WOW. AJ has had 12 title fights in his career, won most of them.
      Fury has had 6 title fights (I'm not counting the Ngannou fight as it was for a belt that was created the day before the damn fight took place and you can make a very solid argument he lost that fight as well), 3 against the same bloke, one against a guy who 100% should not have been in there for a belt.
      On top of all of this, he was given a 2 year suspension for failing a drug test. Oh and his cousin Hughie, who is also a boxer, tested positive for the exact same substance at the exact same time. Does that add to his resume in your eyes?? Say what you will about AJ and his physique but he is held to the same standard and hasn't failed a drug test thus far. We can speculate all we like but at the end of the day there's multiple organisations responsible for testing him and none have found evidence he has cheated. The same cannot be said for Tyson fury...
