hi mark,,mixed results,,i think the reason for the low ft/lb is only down to the lack of power to push the slug out of the barrel hence why its a lot lower than 11.6ftlb,,the barrel length on the slug is quite long and causes a lot of friction going up the barrel hence low ftlb,,i noticed that after you shot the 18gn jsb and had them near enough zeroed then followed them with the slugs which were a tad lighter but there was a considerable drop and you had to wind up the elevation quite a bit, that just shows how much friction there is as the slug moves up the barrel at 12ftlb as they were a bit lighter than the pellets,i think really they are okay for 20 yrd shooting at 12ftlb but pushing them out further requires more power due to the shape and design of them, ideal for fac rifles at longer distances,,nice to see you give them a try but i think the results tell the story,,😀👍👍
Hi Mark,do you have a vid on bipods,I have just bought my first pcp,''Falcon BS 177'',and wondered which you have put on that wooden stock webley, and price,ish...cheers...interesting vid for hunters
Great to see that there are some lightweight slugs coming out on the market, @ 24:56 there is something flying away from your gun, looks like it fly of the bipod, or is it a pellet that fly of when you remove the magasine?
Interesting vid , did come as a bit of a surprise at the end , with the crono results , was going to give them a try ( slugs ) as I mentioned before , think I'll give em a miss though , as I only do target stuff now , nevertheless , I'm more then impressed with the 18gr JSBs , gonna give them little babies a try for sure , one thing that niggles me though , is would slugs be better in a smooth twist barrel? Like my old FX Typhoon ? Food for thought
Interesting and enjoyable video, might be a ideal to try and borrow, something like an FX sub 12 rifle which has a barrel and twist specifically made for slugs to ascertain their power results ! Go steady and keep them coming PS do you know anyone with a Pard 007 you could borrow and review, would be interested on your comments, especially regarding eye relief Cheers

The air disturbed by the shape of pellets makes them shoot better while the slug needs to spin faster for the same results
Must be nice to get back down the range again ,after such a long time !!!!!!! Lol
Wowww is the best 👍
It's because slugs have way more friction in the barrel, the fit becomes more important
Slugs have a greater bearing surface in the bore thats why they shoot slower

yeah think they need a bit thinner skirt so they can form a seal in the barrel interesting
These work in my Logun S16

interesting results, would be interested in seeing the expansion in sub12 fpe tho ;)
My Gladius hates a clean barrel, maybe you killed the accuracy by cleaning, now upgraded to Uragan and wildcat 2 .177 both incredible

Why do you think that the pellet came about because they shoot better then the slugs at low power.
the slugs are not going fast enough to stabilise properly
Hola, desde acá el fin del mundo, crees que estás slugs, tengan un buen resultado en mí daystate renegade fac ?
Those slugs look like fx hybreds
