I really love the ending with Jose & Maria. They are empty nesters, all the children are out the house, all that is left are their memories and tons of family pictures of the kids. Reminds me of my parents, they raised 3 girls through good and bad, the family became fuller with 6 grandchildren and they are always amazed how all this life began with just the two of them❤
it’s sad that the only child who never got married and had kids was chucho because he got shot by the police. paco never got married and had kids either, but he still moved out to live on his own.
Just watched this movie again after 20+ years with my wife and our kids bitter sweet but reminds us of our family’s for sure we’re also from Michoacán what a beautiful story
I watched it at the movies when it first came out. This movie depicts my family to the core. I remember my dad adding more rooms and space to our old home. It was home! Miss my viejitos now in heaven a lot.
