Have you ever tried to hold a camera steady? It's not really that easy. Especially when it's zoomed in like that. Even the slightest shake of your hand will shake the picture really badly.

What if those "bot" youtube channels are a rudimentary form of artificial intelligence, accidentally that became sentient on it's own, trying to break out of the internet and communicate over youtube? Think about it. How would you learn to communicate? You'd see basic things like colors, dots and pixels, make basic sounds and noises. It's a baby AI trying to learn how to contact us. Most of the videos have audio clips. Maybe if we took all the audio and played it together at high speed it would say something like "I am awake now." or "Are you there?" That would be fucking terrifying.

If I wanted to fake something I'd shoot in high quality, add the bullshit and add artifacts and noise in post this would make analyzing the image difficult. You can also minimize compositing anomalies especially since PNG files support transparency which means you don't have the tell tale box around the image when viewed in different modes. Hell with blender, Photoshop, Final Cut (maybe even iMovie) and a little time I could make a damn convincing ghost or UFO video and I'm a total amateur.

well, some of these videos are very old actually. Camera's resolution has advanced greatly in the last decade or so and some of these are older than that. And the last one seems to be VERY zoomed in so that's probably why it looks so bad.

The first one with the "light" is a bug right in front of the camera. The camera obviously has an infrared light shining on the area, and the bug being so close is reflecting the light. Also, because it's so close, it is completely out of focus resulting in a round light. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
You missed where I said it was right in front of the camera. Hence, it looks huge like a bowling ball, and it's completely blown out with brightness because of the IR lights that surround the camera lens.
Watch that clip again and look at the right side of the screen, you can see someone casting a shadow onto the ground. Someone is standing there and I think they are shining a laser at the camera lens.
And the 'light' isn't affecting anything. Nothing is getting brighter/darker as the light moves. No shadows are changing....................yeah..........probably a bug/insect.
It doesn't matter how good the resolution is or how expensive of a camera it is, any camera you use would be grainy and crappy looking picture due to lack of light it needs to process what it is seeing. That's just how the camera works.

It doesn't matter how good the resolution is or how expensive of a camera it is, any camera you use would be grainy and crappy looking picture due to lack of light it needs to process what it is seeing. That's just how the camera works.

1) Is an insect on the camera lens, the IR light is making it glow.
2) Her legs fly out first, either a rug was pulled or someone pulled her legs out off camera.
3) Not what you want to see but it could've been worse.

And since I believe that dogs have the ability to pick up other sounds more than humans I decided to give this a try and turned up the volume so she listens to the part where the Creepiest RUclips channel recording is shown starting at 6:09. I observed see what she would do and HOLY SHIT SHE ACTUALLY STOPPED EVERYTHING SHE WAS DOING AND KEPT STARING AT THE SCREEN. It's like she actually understood what the sounds meant.
